Unfortunately I've had three visits that were not great at all the staff was not helpful or friendly, the most recent time I was specifically looking for a few otocinclus. And they couldn't find the prices for them, and didn't know the name or how to look them up even tho I told them the fish's name, they also said "oh those sucky thing fish" not really sure why this location in particular falls so flat every visit unfortunately they really don't do the brand justice at this location as I do genuinely love Best west pet foods and have been going to them for over 25 years. Also the staff appeared to be talking about me behind my back to eachother and laughing so it super wasn't a great visit or experience.

A great place in St. Vital to buy food, treats and supplements for your dog. The prices are reasonable and they have lots of variety.
I often get distracted by the cute cats and kittens they always have at the store. They're rescues from the Humane society.

Bought 150 super worms and there was a bunch of dead ones mixed in with them they all died 2 days later.the staff were aware of the dead ones in the container

Friendly, efficient staff and they always have what I need. 10% off for seniors day is helpful too

The staff are great here. We come in regularly for food and grooming our fur kids. Prices are competitive and they offer food delivery which is very handy. Highly recommend them!

The staff is always polite and knowledgeable. This location also has all my reptile needs.

Usually grab my cat food from here, staff are nice and so are the animals around the shop:)

Great selection of high quality goods for my dog that is allergic to most common foods. Great options for snacks, and for my cat!

I had a nightmare experience getting my dog groomed at the St. Anne's location. After 2 hours I showed up to see why it was taking so long and as soon as I opened the door to the store I could hear my dog crying and the groomer yelling at him. She was yelling that he was a bad dog and then I could hear a yelp like he had been hit. When I poked my head behind the door and she saw I was there (she had put a cone on him and was handling him roughly) she tried to make excuses that the dog wasn't listening to her and was trying to "get her". This dog has no history of ever being aggressive so if there was any such reaction it was because he was defending himself. I was so upset it has taken me almost 2 weeks to even write this review. I was in shock that a groomer would treat at dog like that - with no patience and totally roughly. She didn't apologize and blamed it on the dog. I left 20 minutes later when she finally finished with a dog that was traumatized and looked ridiculous. This groomer should not be in this line of business and should be fired. Do not get your dog groomed there unless you stay there and watch what they are doing (even then I wouldn't recommend going to a place that tolerates such behavior). Very disturbing experience.

I was helped by multiple staff members who were very friendly and knowledgeable. They have a good selection of treats for hypoallergenic dogs which most pet stores do not offer.

Went to get a new brand of dog food. The store only had a small bag, but the staff member called another store and confirmed the other store had the large bag. Great customer service.

Super odd, but I called to ask for the pricing of the various grooming services. The individual on the phone said she couldn't find my dog in her system (we had an appointment booked). After being told a number of times that it depends, I explained that generally there are starting prices for the various services and would like to get a rough idea as to what the services we are asking for cost. Again, given a "it depends" followed by a starting price and then told it was up to the groomer what it will cost us in the end. I indicated that I wanted to cancel the appointment, to which I got a "that's fine" and immediately hung up on. This individual seemed offended that I wanted to know the cost of the services. Historically we purchased all of our dog food there and had her grooming done there in the past. Will definitely be spending my money else where.

Greeted as you walk in, lots of selection for all types of pets. Lots of dietary restricted items which is great. Some items can be a little pricey but if you have an account it's worth it.

Friendly staff, groomers were great we are quite happy with the cut our little shitzu Yorkie received and definitely will be back. Question, is tip including in the groom bc no option to tip when paying, or should I bring cash with me next time? Thanks for a great grooming!

Duke and I visited today for his nails to be trimmed, and it was wonderful. Staff was super friendly and helpful, very large selection of EVERYTHING for your pet. We will absolutely be back.

Long time customer. Always greeted and asked if I require help. Animal friendly. Good selection of different food. Good cat nip!
