We accomplished the Mantario trail expecting to have suppet. The restaurant was closed? They sent us to South Lake restaurant. We enjoyed the remainder of our experience at a different business.

Love this place, great staff, especially Emily and the owner Gary is awesome. Cabins are nice and clean, beach and boat launch are right there. We go summer and winter and love it Oh and pet friendly

In spring 2023, on an improvised road trip through beautiful Manitoba, we had an unforgettable stay at the Big Whiteshell Lodge in the middle of Whitesell Provincial Park! This place is beautifully situated right at the Big Whiteshell lake, with amazing views and trails, boat rentals, a pub/shop with an amazing patio overlooking the lake and very friendly staff. Host Garry knows all the places and can give directions to beautiful Castle Rock on the lake and various other spots you can get to with the provided both rental. Trust Garry, as the beauty of these spots will leave you in awe!
The lodge is recently renovated (by Garry himself!), is super modern & clean, comfortable, and well organized. Our cabin had 2 bedroom and with a huge gazebo. The store from the lodge is also extremely convenient, as Garry supplies it with all types of food, including frozen sushi & steak, liquor, snacks, various fishing and camping supplies.
We cannot recommend this place enough. We consider this the highlight of our Manitoba trip. Garry is a wonderful host and the area is beautiful! Must visit!

This is a very nice resort/ lodge. There are places for trailers and cabins as well. Fantastic people run the facility. There is also live music every long weekend. Clean, family friendly, safe and very comfortable. The cabins have A/C and many more modern amenities.

Excellent stop during a day of snowmobiling the excellent trails in Whiteshell Park.

Amazing place, great views! Hiking trails, short walk to the lake. Cozy cabins. Owners are awesome! Will be back, And have been multiple times!
