Bimi Korean/Japanese Restaurant

Last Monday, I ordered a Bibimbap as I am very fond of eating fresh cut vegetables mixed with meat, rice and special sauce. This restaurant served a pre-prepared bowl, then you can tell it was just preheated using a sizzling plate. This is weird to me since I never had one using this method. It then occurred to me when I started mixing it. The rice sticks at the bottom and the veggies were semi cooked and you can tell no longer fresh. My stomach churned up a little. After an hour, it got worse as I have had an upset stomach. Even though I have been dined here in the past a few times, with this experience I will not come back again at this restaurant.

I got takeout from Bimi, and let me tell you. The food was barely edible because of how salty and oily it was. I got the Samurai noodles and it’s supposed to be done in a seafood broth but all I can taste was the salt water and garlic, no seafood flavour what-so-ever. I also got stirfried noodles with veggies and couldn’t get past the amount of salt and oil on it. The tempura was also not fresh, almost stale. Overall not impressed, wouldn’t try again.

The food was good and enjoyed.until there was roaches crawling all over the table middle of our meal and crawled on the plate. They took care of the meal which was appreciated, but unfortunately they don’t care about health/sanitation protocol

Found a piece of plastic and choke con it. Terrible sanitation and bio security protocols. They told Me that they can’t control what the kitchen do.

Bad store. The food is not fresh. The blood sausage and the beef offal are sucked, and does not authentic taste Korean food! This store is totally a wast of my time and money!

Nice food, good service, the Korean fried chicken here is amazing, a girl who served me on last Friday night was so nice. Everything was perfect, definitely be back

Fantastic food, but the staff… ordered pick up, and paid for the food, the girl at the cash, not only was she not pleasant to start, said in Chinese to her coworker “he didn’t tip me” and talking negatively about me. Surprise! I speak Chinese! Very rude and ignorant of her to talk like that in front of me thinking I don’t understand. If I was dining in the restaurant and didn’t tip, sure say that, but when I’m ordering take out?

Salty foods and Service was bad. Only 3 tables when we were there, she was so slow. Food didn’t look like the photo’s menu. We ordered the cold intestines, it was hard and dried from microwave, tossed on plate, the dipping sauce super salty, like salt water. Only kimchi for side dish, I asked the server she said the restaurant doesn’t serve any side dishes other than kimchi. BUT she the table right beside me has potatoes, all kind of side dishes, why would she lies about it, because we weren’t Korean like those ppl beside us? Never coming back.

Food came really quickly and was steaming hot, also tasted amazing! Staff was polite and efficient. Definitely coming back in the near future!

I had a Garlic chicken today. It was greesy and sauce was disgusting. This was the worst fried chicken I had in my entire life. They have no idea on frying chicken. Drumstick was excessively covered with thick mix soaked with oil. If they don't know how to cook chicken properly they should seriously remove fried chicken from their main menu.

Awesome food! Authentic taste unlimited homemade kimchi arrrghhh so good and great service they dont let the language barrier to have a good customer service not that they cant speak english but very friendly! Fair price if you love korean food this is the place!
