Was helping out a friend who was getting his car repaired. Poor communication over the phone explaining the process to my friend. He thought he was dropping his car off for estimate and repair. It was only for an estimate. Has to wait a.month to bring in the car for repair

I was on my way to work when the engine splash shield fell off, I was stranded and scared I drove there and they helped me fix it without taking any penny, I was shocked.
The staffs are nice and respectful.
I have nothing for them but God bless them abundantly.

My regular mechanic unfortunately was fully booked for the whole summer and I needed mpi approved claim repair and I chose to go to this shop biggest mistake ever, horrible service, horrible repair I wish I was patient and wait for my mechanic opening spot.

Great service! Even in these times when parts take forever to come, they went above and beyond and got me a free rental car which saved me lots of time and potential money! Highly recommend this boyd for any work that needs to be done!

I was here on Monday April 4th and the lady at the reception was below par in customer service. Too bad. She was talking to me and putting on her jacket to leave. Telling me to go to another center of Boyd on Pembina. That they can't help me at their own place. Very sad. This is my third time of coming here and have not been treated like this. I had to go to the one on Scurfield and the customer service there was top notch. I decided to get my windshield fixed at Scurfield. Management of Pembina site should be mindful of who they put on their front end.

Management later got back to me on this and apologized. New management now on board and services are being revamped. Thanks for connecting.

Sukh (I hope I did not get the name wrong) is a very nice and polite gentleman who assisted me through out the repair procedures. The bumper paint was fixed in less than 2 days.

Great place took my car in to get a cord and plug replaced they did it in a very fast manner and didn't charge me for the repair will definitely be going back if I need any car repairs

Went in requiring a brake light to be fixed. I needed to have it done quickly as my son was doing his road test in 20 mins. The took the truck right in and got it changed for me with no hassles and they were all friendly and helpful even with such a small repair.

I had to bring my car in after MPI assessed it as an ‘almost total loss’ - Brought it to the Pembina Boyd location and very happy I did.
Linda was absolutely wonderful - all the staff there are very attentive and kind.
My car ended up being written off and I required a rental. They set up a rental for me right away even when I was unable to get one on my own. I didn’t have to worry about any paperwork.
Even after MPI ended my rental Boyd was still able to work with Enterprise and help me out until I got a new car.
During a very stressful time Boyd made things that much easier. I am very greatful and would highly recommend them for anyone looking for a place to take their vehicle for work.
They were kind, courteous, prompt, polite, and awesome at keeping me updated.

The day of my daughters road test, when we arrived at MPI, we were told our brake light was out and to go to Boyd Autobody to get it fixed. If we didn’t get the light fixed within 5-10 minutes we were at risk of the road test being cancelled, and autobody worked fast! The light was back on under 5 minutes, and we made it back in time for the road test. Staff was so helpful and kind! Definitely recommend:)

I thought I had paint scratches on my car so I went to see if I could have them fixed. They told me it would probably cost me 600 to have my back bumper repainted if there is actually damage to the paint on my car. Lucky there was no serious damage and they help fix it for free. The staff is also pretty friendly and familiar with the works since they were able to have it fixed in 10 mins. I'd definitely go back if I had any serious issues, and it's definitely the right place to be if you wanna fix any kind of damage to your car.

Boyd went above and beyond to find a way to not have our vehicle written off. The staff were professional, super friendly and kept us informed. They had to spend time looking for parts to make it happen, but it was well worth the wait to get our car that we love back. And it drives beautifully! A special thank you to Linda for working with us and making it happen during an especially challenging year. We highly recommend Boyd on Pembina.

I am so regret to choose this shop. It absolutely depressed me.
My car was a small claim but they couldn't do it well even after 5 repair times plus MPI quality team involved. At the end, I lower my satisfaction to pick up my car which still have Scratch and Hologram on paint. They also touched my car camera and waived my SD card and also re-set my car camera.

Yes, I don't think they can even touch the standard line of factory car repair on my case and provide bad customer service.

Brief detail:
This nightmare started from March to November. Yes, it bothers me more than 8 months!
First Repair - Failed! Damage still there
Second Repair - Failed! Damage still there + New scratch.
Third Repair - Failed! Damage still there + Refused to repair it and referred me to MPI + MPI quantity team involved, circle 5 things need to be done by repair shop on this claim.
Fourth Repair - MPI rep finally called me to pick up the car (Yes, I received the updated from MPI more than from the shop in history). MPI quantity team rep was with me to pick up the car at that moment. There still had scratch and hologram problem. We also found they unplug the car camera cable! Also, their manager waited the last minute to tell us there had a small part was broken and asked me to come back for that part. Funny thing is that manager didn't tell MPI rep about this matter before head. MPI rep apology to me immediately when he knew about it and mentioned he won’t contact me to come pick up if he knew the part was broken. However, the manager NEVER ever apology on anything to me.
Fifth Repair, reinstall the broken part.

When I and MPI were checking the car, we found they unplug my car camera cable. Then, I took a look of the SD card and found they deleted some records. They unplug the cable which installed very tight and won't lose it even hit the deer. My camera doesn't have screen and only have lens which hide it behind the rear camera and connect to car battery itself directly, so it won't stop recording only if the car battery dead.
1) Empty Space suddenly! It is 24 hours’ auto recording car camera and it will auto cover the oldest videos if no any space, however, it had more than three hundred MB empty space suddenly.
2) Record missed! The record had lost from the time I met with MPI until I picked up the car. There had no any record on that fourth repairing time but had a record when I pick up the car with MPI.
3) Cable Disconnected! They unplug the cable, however, it was only a rear camera cable. Therefore, it still recorded the moment when I and MPI rep were discussing the issue on picking up the car even this rear cable still unplugs, however, all the previous record of talking to MPI and the fourth repair time were gone. Now, my SD card only had record of beginning of this year until third repairing time, then missed the period of MPI (which I had saw it before) and fourth repair moment suddenly, and then having record of picking up the car on that ship outside? Obviously, they took the SD card to waive the previous records.
4) Reset the camera! They reset my camera to factory setting. It is so funny the recording time supposed to be 2020 but it went to 2016 now after I picked up the car. All setting of quality, time, sensitive are all factory now.
*Notice, my camera didn't have any buttons and screen, except 2 buttons (taking picture and turning to important moment). All other setting only can adjust by the app, otherwise, reset camera itself by pointing into small hole which had the hidden setting function (the word of “reset” shown on itself, like taking out the sim card on an iPhone).

To someone who touched my camera, it’s okay and no need to lie.

My passenger side bulb was not working and I went to Boyd Pembina branch, Boyd team young man was very courteous and has fixed it right away (in such harsh weather) in courtesy without any charge. Thank you very much team for your help.

My first choice for collision repair. They offer courtesy Toyota Camry while waiting for repairs that may take weeks or even months.

Been going to Boyd Autobody and Glass Pembina Hwy Location (South) for years now! I really love the staff's approach and the work they do is really good.

My car has sustained some damage due to hit and run accidents, where Boyd was able to restore the car to look like it did prior to the damage.

The only reason that I am giving Boyd a 4/5 and not a 5/5 is due to a couple reasons. There was a claim where I required a new bumper. I came in with my vehicle, as scheduled, previously purchasing rental car insurance (as I was entitled to a rental car and would need it). I also was required to wash the car prior, so before my 8am appointment, I ensured to wash the car-even though the weather wasn't great. Upon my arrival, I was told the bumper was not in and I would have to come back when the bumper was ordered in. I felt Boyd could have dealt with this better by a) calling me prior to me coming in to let me know the bumper was not in and b) helped compensate me for my rental car insurance which I purchased-this is non refundable (The initial fee). When the job was complete, the paint job was not done nicely, there were small rocks or something painted underneath the bumpers paint-they did not clean the surface sufficiently before painting. They did rectify this.

Overall, very good customer service, they are often available to fit me into an appointment time very soon or immediately when requested, and they get the job done well and in a timely manner. They also have the use of courtesy cars, should you not have coverage for one, but if you do, they arrange the rental car company to come pick you up when you drop off your vehicle. A very simple and straightforward process. Thank you!

Needed to go back twice after the repair was done. Also, not the most accommodating and communication is not great (i.e. The answering machine inbox is always full when I call after hours).

Chad was absolutely amazing. When I arrived I was greeted and helped right away, no waiting. Chad was able to fix my problem right away. I was treated with respect and kindness. Diffently went up and above my expectations. Will take my vehicle to Boyd for all my glass and autobody needs from now on. Thank you so much for such great service Chad.

Quoted $0.43 as a co-pay through an MPI claim. Upon picking up the vehicle was told it would be $394. The excuse was that the person who gave the initial quote was new. Maybe the new guy shouldn't be giving out that type of information? Extremely unhappy with the service!

Absolutely horrible experience, would not recommend having your vehicle repaired at this establishment.

10 visits to finish cosmetic repairs over the course of 3 months. Multiple times told it was done only to inspect myself and find poor workmanship.

Poor communication amongst the shop as I rarely received updates when told to expect them. I was told parts were covered, only for them to turn around and say that there would be costs.

When my car was finally returned to me, with additional damage caused by the repairs, I'm sent away to go see a mechanic because it's not what they did and it's just a "coincidence" that the damage happened during the repair (even though originally they had initially tried fixing it, saying it's possible it happened during their time with my vehicle).

After meeting with the manager at another Boyd location and a couple of different things tried to resolve the damage, I was told I need to see an Auto Electric Technician in order to further diagnose the problem.

They recommended a shop for $100/hour because they require photo proof from the shop AND I would be responsible for that cost to figure out what happened AND they would only repay that if I was able to prove the damage happened at the shop.

Poor experience all around.

Spoke to a Boyd representative on the phone about having my vehicle towed to them a day after my accident, for repairs. The associate took all of my information, including name, phone number, and make and model of vehicle, and assured me that fixing a Suzuki would not be any problem at all.

After my vehicle arrived in their care a few days later, I was called and informed that Boyd does not, in fact, repair Suzukis at all, which put the repairs on my car and the progress of my claim behind at least 3-4 days.

The associate who called me was easy to deal with and set up a shop-to-shop tow, but it definitely would have been nice to have been phoned beforehand about this, especially since they had my information on file for days beforehand and I had described the extent of my vehicle's damage to them.
