PLS REPORT HER: DR SUNU THOMAS is the WORST doctor I’ve ever encountered. She only works twice a week as a family physician AND a walk-in doctor. She takes many vacation days, a month at a time and no one fills in for her or can you get anything done. Dangerous if you have serious health issues. She doesn’t listen to you, doesn’t ever read your medical file, doesn’t call back with test results, have to re-explain everything to her each appointment because she doesn’t familiarize herself with her patients. She is lazy, wants to do as little work as possible and have you do all the work, and only cares about money. She will not let you speak about more than 2 issues at a time, NO MATTER HOW QUICK ONE ISSUE IS. She has deliberately hung up on me, will not spend more than 2-3 minutes on the phone with me. She is rude. Does NOT put patients health first no matter how urgent. Does not do her job at all. PLEASE if you have any issues with her please report her to the CPSM as I already have a case open regarding her unethical, law breaking and medical negligence. SHE SHOULD NOT BE PRACTICING MEDICINE.

Worse experience. Do not waste your time waiting here. Chinese compatriots should not come to this clinic to make trouble.
04 November 2023 5:27
Horrible front desk whenever I come here I would be told that there’s no walk in today or it’s for family doctors appointment only! Dr. Roma is also the worst doctor here he’s super rude and does not listen to the patient

This review is for Dr. Abdallah Musleh. He is excellent. He is kind. He is knowledgeable. He saw my daughter for a walk in visit. She ended up having a scalp infection. He educated me and showed me pictures of what it was. Explained the pathophysiology of it and the way the medication works. He is brillant. I wish he would take us on as a regular patient. Thank you for your excellence and patience.
27 August 2023 6:20
Dr Musleh is amazing, if you’re going to see anyone in that clinic that would be him. Everything else - absolutely awful. When I was out of town longer than expected for personal reasons and needed my prescription filled that I am taking for over 7 years, it took them two days to discuss it and still not help me. To a question: ” what do you want me to do, die? ” (I depend on that medication, and I was already few days without it, and I was just very frustrated with them not being helpful, so it might sound dramatic, which I agree) but the answer was “there might not be any other options”. Now, I understand it was probably a language hiccup, but it is very unprofessional. The lady basically told me there’s no other option but die. All because my doctor was on vacation. It’s like talking to 5 year old. They only say what’s “written in the book” without even trying to listen to you and your situation. I had my baby with me and it was super hard to keep taking care of her and myself those few days until I went to local doctor and he prescribed me my meds.
P. S.dr whose last name starts with N can’t remember full last name is absolutely horrible and rude. Same with the manager, very rude and unprofessional lady

I called in to get a procedure done that any doctor can do as my doctor did it in his office but was away. I was told they could, drove over there to be met by a double talking greaseball doctor that said he could do it but wouldn’t and then said he doesn’t do that procedure then said I don’t feel comfortable doing this, this time. When all it was, was to drain a bursa on my knee.
He said it’s too old of an injury even tho I told him there was no injury. Then he said the fluid is too old, when it was just drained on the Friday previous. He said there’s no telling how old the fluid was. I was like it’s a week old…. They got me in under false pretences used my Manitoba medical so he could get paid, again they knew what it was before I came in and said they could but then changed tune once I was there.
Lol you are a scumbag doctor.

Fantastic place. Was able to get my dad in quickly. Receptionist was very kind, compassionate and helpful as was the doctor. I did not even know this is place existed but I would highly recommend it. I was doubtful I could get him in anywhere on Easter Sunday but within an hour he had seen a doctor and had his prescriptions filled and was on his way to recovery!
25 March 2023 9:09
Dr. Musleh assessed my daughter at Bridgewater Medical Centre and we are so fortunate to have met him. He genuinely cared about her state and followed up with us daily to ensure she fully recovered. This Doctor sincerely cares and patients are clearly not a “number” for him. We are very lucky to have him in Winnipeg.
Thank you for everything Dr. Musleh!
12 March 2023 10:28
Dr Mehmood Nasir is awsome, he has a great professionalism. He always listen to the patient first, give his patients a hope to get recover, his counseling attitude has been brilliant.
03 February 2023 18:24
We walked in and saw Dr Benshaban, he was very kind to our 6 year old son who was coming in for an ear infection. The visit was quick and efficient! The clinic was clean and the staff was pleasant.
We are not patients at the clinic but used the walked-in and would highly recommend it to our friends.
19 January 2023 19:53
The lady at the counter should make a booking for her cognition level test. Arrived at 5pm, told me we stopped taking walk-ins. You have to make a booking for tomorrow. I said can I book it? She said you have to come here tomorrow to make a booking for tomorrow. So what is the point? Can someone send her to school to learn the basis of being a person?
13 January 2023 11:28
Do not come to this walk in for any tests or sample taken. They do not prioritize you. I took a test, they sent me to Dyna care. The results took less than a week, however, Bridgwater medical would not call me back to let me know my results were in. Instead, my walk in doctor went on a week vacation and I have to wait an extra week for my results, which are quite important.

One of the worst experiences of my life once a doctor that cares for our issues to a doctor that has no time or patience or has kindness for anybody. Especially when one is incapacitated with a serious back issue that he is supposed to help fix and to seek out spine specialist still waiting …… and After travelling 2 hours to see him! With an appt! He Turned me
Away and told me to go to the ER and that he couldn’t see me I was in to much pain and couldn’t walk so he told me he can’t help me!
He has been my doctor for years. And has changed dramatically. Not a doctor I would suggest as a family physician to anyone anymore
21 December 2022 8:27
If there would be an option for 0 rating i would go for it. Worst experience. I will never recommend anyone to go there. Doctors are always in hurry. If someone has booked an appointment they should be treated well. Not like you will tell them your problem and they will say take advil and then “ok i will move to next patient” this is not how it works. Just help to find out the reason behind their problem.
Worst worst worst experience ever
Totally nonsense

I saw a doctor at this clinic for almost two years before she moved to another clinic a few months ago. Bridgwater Medical Clinic (BMC) is one of the worst clinics I’ve ever been to and only stayed as long as I did for the doctor I was seeing. The front desk staff were often rude, disorganized, dismissive, inconsistent in the information provided, didn’t seem to care when they were told their online hours and waitlist system were incorrect, etc. When my doctor shared she was moving to a new clinic, I was relieved because of the experiences I had had at BMC. Yet, the arrangement my doctor made with BMC (provided in a hard copy letter) indicated BMC would automatically transfer our files to the new clinic and charge us $25 if we didn’t let them know otherwise by early August. While I didn’t hear from them, I assumed I might just pay at the new clinic at my first appointment. When I first went to see my doctor at her new clinic in September, it turned out my files hadn't been transferred and BMC’s process had changed without notifying me. My doctor said that BMC said her patients could call and pay over the phone to have their files transferred. When I called, I was told that not only did I need to come in person, but the cost had gone up from $25 to $25 + $. 30 a page. Plus they couldn’t send an electronic copy to the new clinic; instead, they would provide me with a paper copy and I would have to bring it over in person to the new clinic myself. When I was finally able to go in person today, I was told I had 107 pages in my file that would cost me $41.80 even though, in the end, it took them a few mouse clicks and they electronically faxed my files in less than 5 minutes. These inconsistencies are not a surprise since they are among so many during my time as a patient at BMC, but it’s pretty clear in this case that BMC was making my doctor’s patients pay (financially and in terms of time and energy) for a doctor daring to leave their practice. It felt like they were holding a grudge and taking it out on us. I’m so glad to have left this clinic and would never recommend it to anyone, as they are unapologetically capitalist and are in no way patient-centered. They also do not have a good business ethic and need to better train their staff. With this said, I do want to note that while almost all the front desk staff I’ve encountered in all my time at the clinic have been frustrating to deal with and immensely unhelpful, the two who helped me today were great.
25 October 2022 7:40
I booked an appointment over the phone several weeks ago to see my family doctor. I made sure to ask SEVERAL TIMES whether my doctor would still be at the Bridgewater clinic, as I knew she was moving to a different office sometime this fall. The receptionist assured me the doctor would still be at the Bridgewater office for my appointment. I also received a confirmation email specifying that my doctor would be AT THE BRIDGWATER OFFICE for my appointment.

When I arrived at my appointment today, I was informed that my family doctor had already moved office and that my appointment essentially did not exist. Reception first suggested that I might be mistaken, then admitted they didn’t know how this could have happened, suggested I could see a walk-in doctor today, and when I refused that, they still made me pay the $25 fee to transfer my records to my doctor’s new office.

Upon calling the new office, the receptionist there let me know that I am NOT the first person this has happened to at Bridgwater. Which makes me wonder if reception is doing this on purpose in the hopes that they will retain clients (rather than have their clients move to the doctor’s new office).

This should have been easy to avoid happening, and the fact that it happened more than once is absolutely ridiculous.
10 October 2022 20:36
They don’t know anything specially reception staff they just charge 60$ for 2 minutes check up and when i asked reception girl to add it on my insurance to cover she told me that we cannot do that you just take the invoice pay here and after send this invoice to your insurance
09 October 2022 22:47
If there was an option I will chose no star.

The manager and reception are unprofessional. They do not know what they are doing. They are rude and insulting.

The manager has no clue about customer service. We tried to ask her for clarification, she literally lost her mind, was extremely disturbed and told reception in our face, how can we question her! Don’t try to ask her questions. If you do you are called rude.
I came in for a doctors note. The doctor told me it cost more money. I said you got paid form the gvt of Manitoba $49.00 to see me for 5 minutes. Give me a copy of the notes. He said write to the clinic come tomorrow if you want today it is $45 CASH ONLY.

The staff will try their best not to accommodate you!
They will ask you why are you here for? And you must disclose your medical history to everyone in the lobby listening.
The reception desk staff know nothing about managing wait times and walk in wait expectations. I know that walk ins come with a wait. However, the reception staff don’t seem to be able to manage the list that they themselves created. Between their friends and family and you waiting you could be shoved back to the back of the list. Excuse, they tell you they have appointment … when you can hear clearly they did not have appointment. They will be brought in before you. People register after me, but able to see the doctor before me.

I saw a mother with child who was told she was going to be given a call in an hour come in almost two hours later asking why he didn’t receive a call. When she complained they told her to go to emergency. Then they told her doctor left for the day. Another staff came and they told her doctor wont want to see anyone anymore.terrible experience. Staff change weekly. No wonder they cannot keep staff.

GO ELSEWHERE for walk-in there is another clinic 2 minutes away in Bridgwater. They treat you with respect and they are clean and organized.

This clinic only care about the $49 they get per patient from Manitoba Government. There is no accountability they do what they want.
19 September 2022 23:41
This is a dangerous medical practice. As a fellow Healthcare practitioner knowing they are not assessing people and prescribing antibiotics willy nilly. How do you diagnose bronchitis without actually auscultating lung sounds. The doctor here somehow diagnoses you without being in the same building as you. This is unethical and dangerous.
18 August 2022 13:31
I’m not even sure how to begin. Since when is it okay to just completely disregard peoples time? We called Friday eve and were told the clinic was at capacity. Totally understandable. Then we were told to come Saturday, they open at 9am.

We left our house at 8: 40am so we could be in line and ready. It’s now 9: 30am and we are standing outside the clinic and not a single office staff or doctor in sight? How is this okay!? We have a toddler sitting in the car for now 50 minutes and no one is even here? This is outrageous and I can’t believe it’s tolerated.

My two sons have a pink eye. I saw Dr. Andrea Thwala. He prescribed keflex 250mg. The pharmacist advised that the drug was expensive ($143) and strong for the kids. She faxed a request for the doc to consider an ointment and amoxicillin. The doc refused and prescribed a more expensive drug ($160)! I walked back to talk to the doc and his arrogance was unacceptable! He said that he could only recommend a more expensive substitute if I wanted! Such an insensitive and incompetent doctor who wasted my two hours. The pharmacist advised I seek a second opinion, I saw another doc at Superstore clinic who prescribed just an ointment and stated that was sufficient for the pink eye.
24 December 2020 9:17
Went there today because I hurt my back at work got to see a lady doctor that was rude and did nothing for me. Wrote me a prescription for massages 2 times a week for 3 months. Lol I don't know who she thinks I am the prime minister of Canada nobody has that amount of money to throw on massages like that. The receptionist was nice and helpful but the doctors there are useless.
14 October 2020 12:57
New clinic, very clean, very kind receptionist and great doctor. I would highly recommend this clinic
25 September 2020 21:35
I see Dr N. Nasir and I highly recommend her. She is kind, patient and really listens which is hard to find in a Doctor now a days. The front desk staff are also lovely and accommodating.
07 September 2020 18:09
Clinic is super close to home, clean, and Dr Rhoma is an great family doctor. But the clerks/lady's at the front desk are extremely unwelcoming! MAKES YOU NOT WANT TO BE THERE. Whether it's over the phone or in person and no matter who you deal with, ALL front desk personnel ruins my experience every single time. No greeting, zero/little eye contact when communicating, no manners, constantly sighing when speaking on the phone with you.

I sorta get it if it's one clerk, but EVERY clerk I speak to on the phone or talk to in person? Something's wrong here. If it wasn't for Dr. Rhoma I would never return to this clinic due to the unwelcoming front desk staff.
12 August 2020 21:06
Got recommended to Dr Rhoma through an acquaintance. Best decision for a doctor I have made. I have only ever waited once more than 45min (with other doctors I have had 1.5h+ regularity with appointment). Most wait times here is between 10-15 min tops for appointment.

I can’t attest to any of the other Drs, but my experience with Rhoma has been nothing but positive. He’s patient, relaxed, down to the point, and has quite the medical history to support his practice.

Front desk has been really friendly too. It’s nice when people smile at you when you walk in and you aren’t overtly treated as another health card number.
14 July 2020 12:01
I went for a walk in for a severe sore throat today. This was my first time here. The receptionists were friendly and communicated how to sign in well. The wait time was about 20 minutes as there were no others waiting in the room with me. The doctor that saw me was Dr. Pannu. He was incredibly kind and explained anything I didn't quite understand and spoke clear and concise. He listened and took all of my concerns into account and respected them. After looking and hearing of poor reviews about this clinic I was impressed by my experience. I ended up getting a prescription and I am very pleased with my visit. I would highly recommend this location based on my experience.
17 June 2020 0:03
These doctors and this clinic are absolutely awful. At 10 am on Sunday morning there is a lobby full of people to see the walk in doctor. At 10: 10 am I see the walk in Doctor stroll in the front door late. Shortly before that I saw the other doctor (the one taking appointments) walk out the front door. I understand this doctor is for appointments only, but there is a lobby FULL of people to see a doctor. You really can’t stop and help out, maybe see a few patients? All I needed was a prescription, which would have taking 5-10 minutes. At my last Few appointments at this clinic, I got the impression my doctor had no idea what she was doing as I got prescribed 2 different things for the same issue. I was also supposed to be referred to a dermatologist which was months ago, and I still haven’t heard anything. So I’m questioning the doctor even did the referral. I just find this place useless.
04 June 2020 17:58
I did not have a good experience with Dr. Nasir. I felt like she was very condescending and she told me, down right that she would not take me on as a patient because I have a GP already. I explained the reason I was going to her is bc I was looking for a female Dr to handle my gyno issues and my Dr is a male. She said because he has all my file history I should stick to him.like it would be hard to get the clinic to fax it over. I felt like she was out of line one of my last appointments with her as she suggested I might have a brain tumour even though the basis of the comment could have had many alternate reasons of what was happening. This obviously made me very anxious and worried. Tot his day I worry about it, I just don't undertstand why on earth a Dr would say that to a patient without substantiated reason to. Absolutely horrible and DO NOT RECOMMEND.
06 May 2020 16:21
This is by far the worst doctors office you could possibly go to. You could probably heal yourself better than they can.

I went in with some minor issues and I also needed a new family doctor - dr.pannu proceeded to ignore EVERYTHING I was saying and decided she would rather interrogate me about my personal life. (Who I live with, whether they are male or female, who I work with, what I do in my spare time) and then judge me on it and ask me why that is.

Didn’t realize this was a counselling office - will not ever return and I shredded the lab work she gave me and will be going to an actual doctor
02 May 2020 14:38
Dr. Noreen Nasir is the best. I was fighting with my hormonal problems for few years finally it is getting better when I started the medications she has given me. Beside that fact she is a really nice human being. She takes time to listen to her patient. I am so happy to find a family doctor like her.
25 April 2020 11:41
I have never dealt with a medical centre as horrendous as this! They lie and withhold information from you. If you value your health do not go to this abomination of a medical centre!
29 March 2020 2:10
Brought my 3 year old here to the walk in as she was sick and we thought she may have had a throat infection. Waited over an hour to see the dr (I don't recall her name, but she was very nice). The dr checked my daughter and did a swab for strep throat. She then told me that my daughter has allergies (we have never had any indication of allergies before). I told the dr that I thought you had to have allergy testing done in order to be sure about actually having allergies. She told me that because my daughter had puffy eyes that she had allergies. She gave me a prescription for the "allergies", which I had filled. I did not give me daughter the prescription, as I was doubtful that she had allergies and we were also seeing our pediatrician in a few days and figured we should ask about the allergies and the prescription we were given. When we saw our pediatrician, she told us that you can not 100% determine if someone has allergies just by their appearance and that allergy testing has to be done in order to prescribe anything for allergy relief. We then showed her the prescription we were give from the dr at Bridgwater. She looked at it, and then looked at us, and then literally put her head on her desk and said "I can not believe that a doctor would prescribe this for a 3 year old. This is a very strong steroid cream and should never, ever be given to children. ". So please - if you value your health and the quality of care you receive, do not go to Bridgwater medical. Though the Dr may be nice, they may not be capable of providing the necessary care required to improve your situation, and may in fact make things worse by giving you false information.
21 March 2020 14:30
The lobby is beautiful but small, reception is super nice. The nurses didn't check anything (blood pressure, weight) or ask what I was in for, and the doctor didn't examine anything (ears, throat, breathing) and sent me off with what ended up being the wrong prescription. I feel like they just thought I was trying to get codeine and wanted me gone. Went to another clinic a week later and turns out I had bronchitis. Please spend some time actually examining your patients.
20 March 2020 9:27
I went for an ear infection, I got diagnosed wrong, I was prescribed the wrong medicine. I was in alot of pain, and Dr. Noreen Nasir refused to give me any painkillers. Thanks to her for all those sleepless and painful nights. I went to another doctor, who then told me I was given the wrong medicine, they also prescribed me painkillers.
Please if you want to get better stay away from this clinic.
15 March 2020 0:40
I went to see about getting some ear wax removed. Its an ongoing issue I have so its not the first time. The doctor (don't know his name) used a plastic squirt bottle (e.g. Misting house plants) with a straw. Typically its a big metal syringe thing they use. He got nowhere. Told me to use the ear wax remover you can buy. I had already done that but tried it 3 more times anyway that night & the next day. The next day I went to a clinic where the doctor had the proper equipment & out it came.
21 February 2020 5:50
Once is around closing time they don’t pick up the phone. I have been calling since 7.50 pm and they don't answer. They are suppose to close at 8 pm not before!
14 February 2020 11:07
Front desk staff are great, and that's about the only nice thing I can really say. The doctors at the practice are completely unprofessional. I met with Dr. Pannu. She didn't listen to the issue I described at all, immediately refused to help me and was extremely dismissive about my situation. Tried to pawn me off on another doctor. She went to ask him to see me, and I could hear him practically yelling at her from a room across the hall that I wasn't one of his patients, why would she tell me he would see me, I should see a family doctor not be at the walk in etc etc. He then sent the receptionist in to tell me that he would not help me. I was finally put in with yet another doctor, who finally reluctantly did her best to help me. Worst experience I've had in a long time. No one looking for help should have to go through that kind of additional stress. Save your time, find a different practice with doctors that are actually competent.
03 February 2020 1:01
I have gone here twice now on the weekend. The hours are great. The clinic is clean. The receptionist was very friendly both times. Both times we saw Dr. Rhoma for my 3 year old son. He is wonderful with kids. He talks to him and genuinely cares and makes him comfortable. It is about a half an hour away from us but I dont mind because of the care he receives. The wait times are also pretty short. We got in under 30 mins both times.
02 February 2020 6:21
Took my 6 month old here a few days ago to check for ear infection since we couldn't get into our primary for over a week. The doctor was good but the front desk woman was horrible! Absolutely the most rude woman I've ever dealt with and no compassion for a sick infant.
24 January 2020 15:37
I arrived here in 11: 45. They told me that 1 hour waiting time. But till 1: 00pm, they told me doctor need to leave and back at 2: 30pm.then, I come back at2: 00pm. 3: 00pm I see the doctor.wow! Luck me.
12 January 2020 18:15
I went to see Dr. Shanti after being sick in bed for 2 weeks straight. I told him all of my symptoms and that I was sure I had pneumonia. He listened to a breath and a half with his stethoscope. He asked me if my face hurt, if I had any sinus pain or if I was stuffed up. I told him I didn’t have any of those symptoms. He said, Ok, you have a sinus infection.
Um, what? I didn’t have any symptoms! He told me it was all connected and prescribed me amoxicillin and sinus spray. I told him twice I did not have a sinus infection. I was sure of it. He sent me on my way. 4 days later I went to the minor illness and injury clinic on Corydon. They did a chest X-ray and 10 minutes later I was told, yes.you DO have pneumonia. Thankful for the great doctors there and will never go back to bridge water medical clinic again. Dr. Shanti did not listen to me at all and barely did an exam. Awful doctor.
03 November 2019 0:43
Doctor pannu was playing her cellphone when she was taking exam on me. Also, she never listens to patience’s words. The first time she gave me a medicine cuz me extremely painful and the second time when the pharmacy doctor asked me why the doctor gave me this perception because it didn’t match my illness. I was shocked. I don’t think she is responsible enough. And I would never go to this clinic ever! So horrible!
30 October 2019 21:38
Called them and was told to come down for a walk in when I got to the medical clinic they proceeded to tell me they can't take walk ins till tomorrow bad practice do not go here
03 October 2019 17:28
I showed up 10 minutes before opening, after I was told the wait at my usual clinic was over 1 hour. They were already open and letting patients in, which was wonderful. I only waited about 20 minutes before being seen! I saw Dr. F. Pannu, and she was very sweet and kind to me. She made some small talk with me, and made me feel comfortable. She helped me with exactly what I went there for. Although, she pulled out her iPhone in the middle of my appointment and started using it. I’m not sure if she was texting, googling something, etc. I found that a bit odd. The clinic is brand new which is nice, it’s very clean and peaceful.
03 April 2019 16:19
I highly appreciate the fact that this clinic is open on Sundays where most other clinics are not. It's a very clean place with friendly receptionists.
When my son was sick we has no place to go so we went here. He had a sore throat. One doctor was nice but she checked his throat and then said he had strep throat (without swab test) and gave antibiotics. I didn't feel right about the whole de but I have antibiotics to my 3 year old cos I had no other choice. I think also doctors need to speak better English in order to talk to their patients. This is not a racist comment as I'm also an immigrant and I learned English to work here. If I don't understand what she is saying about my son's condition or if she can't answer me properly how can I help my son get better. I think the management needs to make sure the doctors are qualified to work here.
30 March 2019 18:43
Please dont visit this centre if you love and care yourself and your loved ones! Being new to the place I found this centre close to my place so booked an appointment for myself online. During my visit I was seen by Dr Fazeelat Pannu who just attended me for five min and told me that I had booked meet n greet appointment so if I need to discuss my problem in detail I have to come back with full physical examination appointment. She wrote an antibiotic for me and asked me to give urine sample for testing. I followed the instructions And gave the sample which was kept on the table and coincidentally the sample bottle was visible to me and it was untouched by the nurse and I was told after 10min that I have no infection and can go. Next day i had full physical appointment in which she included my pap smear test and after following up for a month now they have no results as the lab told me that the test sample has never reached the lab. Dr Fazeelat Pannu is not sincere and is making fun of medical profession.according to her I had no problem and it was all in my brain BUT MADAM TO YOUR KNOWLEDGE I HAD A BIG CYST IN MY OVARY WHICH CAUSED ME ALL THE SYMPTOMS I HAD COME TO YOU FOR! IF YOU READ THIS COULD YOU gv my pap smear reports to me as i need them urgently! This heights of negligience and you should know how painful is to get pap done and its done once in an year!
