Bronx Park Community Centre

Beautiful Center that is basically dominated by Church of the Rock and seniors activities. Website and FB page are sporadically updated. Would love to see much more programming for families and small children who actually live in the neighborhood.

This facility is an excellent example of cooperation between 2.groups: Good Neighbours Active Living Center and the Bronx park community centre. The shared space is used almost around the clock.programming and activities for the seniors during the day and club activities like soccer and other sports and also socials and gymn rentals on the weekends

Bravo!

Bronx is decent for events that can accommodate around 200 people. It has a reasonable parking lots. I am not sure of the renting cost.

We enjoyed the Saturday Farmer's Market. We have our favorite vendors we look for and like to visit. Variety of vendors each Saturday. Plus, we lucked out and managed to get a great parking spot. Lastly, there are food trucks there this summer, and I absolutely loved the one vendor where I got my Taro smoothie from. Definitely recommend stopping by and checking the Bronx out - gave a hot dog, a yummy smoothie, or a taco! Enjoy!

Was there to experience the farmer's market that was advertised, but it wasn't on.

It is a very interesting place, in winter there are various entertainment options, you can play hockey, go ice skating, there is a small East Kildonan park across the street, you can go sledding from the hill, our little one loved this place.
We are waiting for the summer, it will probably be interesting too.

I had a very rude staff member named Joanne come yell at me when I came for my women’s league volleyball game with my daughter, not knowing they don’t allow spectators. I do not have child care in the evenings and haven’t been to volleyball in months due to that. I finally was able to come and had to bring my daughter and she came running and yelling at us. It was embarrassing and unprofessional. My daughter was very upset afterwards, as was I.

Went to a social here on a Friday night. Was so good to get out and see new people and good friends again. Great facility, well designed, and lots of parking for everyone.

Great establishment, 2 awesome outdoor rinks and outer ice ring. Auditorium/ "Wedding Social hall" has lots of happy clients patrons

Attended a baby shower here. Very nice inside. So clean. Looking forward to a wedding social here in April.

This place has private space to rent for any size parties. In summer, good place for farmers market. Alot of activities run out of this place.

Excellent facility running many great programs for all ages. Their rinks and indoor setups are our favourite in the city.

I went to the rinks today and was really disappointed. The area coming out of the building to go to the rinks was a minefield to say the least. Snow big chunks of ice where you can’t get to the rinks safely. The ice on the rinks were ok but broken boards, broken gates and the chainlink fence behind the nets were all peeling back, pieces of wire sticking out. No access to get to the back ice where young kids tend to skate and play.
In previous years these safety concerns were not a factor. The grounds were taken seriously, no garbage, bottles was not left for the neighbours to pick up. Safe access to all rinks was not a safety concern, but hey they (executives) found money to buy new LED lights.
An eyesore and a lawsuit waiting to happen. Be safe people.
