Browns Socialhouse Kildonan Green

Great ambiance, food was excellent, but the price point to comparable places is a little higher. Our waitress did very well since we were a large group and happy to say the manager accommodated our large group even though other restaurants wouldn't during the holidays.

Went to browns transcona yesterday. Love the happy hour appies (spicy chicken and pickles, and the sushi roll) we had! Had the spicy chicken sandwich as well, so good. I had them add bacon jam to it and that jan brought it to another level. Als9 tried the seared ahi tuna salad, it was well balance and delicious. Staff was amazing as well so help full and always there. Little noisy inside but they have the covered headed patio and it was a prefect atmosphere for our night. 5 stars across the board

Their customer service is so bad. They don’t treat people with respect, specially delivery guys. If they make mistake while packaging, delivery guy complaints about the it they threaten those guys of reporting to the delivery company.

I used to love Browns and since I haven’t lived in a city that has one, for over 6 years, I was really excited to find one close to my hotel.
I ordered take-out twice, and unfortunately the food was bland and grossly overpriced for what you get. The first night I had Fettuccine Alfredo and I paid for extra Alfredo sauce and Parmesan and I am glad I did because what I found in my takeout bag was plain noodles. I ordered again tonight, believing that my last order was probably a mistake and this is what I received. This is the tofu dragon bowl and it was $26. I didn’t add anything this time, although I probably should have.
I give this restaurant a 3/10

This was my first visit to this restaurant, but not my last! I took out my co-worker for her retirement lunch and asked her to pick a place. Glad she picked this restaurant. The server was excellent, very friendly and attentive. The food was outstanding, great presentation, flavorful and quick turn time from ordered to on the table. Loved the atmosphere, the menu options and the pricing was absolutely fair for the quality of the food.

I live about 2hrs away from Wpg and don't go to the city often in a year but I fully intend to come back with my wife and have another meal at this location. Hope to see employee SYD5544 again, your awesome! And so where the cooks!

Came here to try the Le Burger Week burger. It was pretty good. Service was great! I shall recommend the place to friends

Online order for pickup. I arrived 15 minutes early and they were on my order right away, wait time less than two minutes! Thank-you. Had the #28 Dragon Bowl with extra veggies again.

Very mid experience. 25 dollars for their Le Burger Week burger. Not anywhere near worth 25 dollars. Our poor server had the entire restaurant to herself.

Had the fish tacos. They were great but they would have been awesome if there would have been some or more sauce on the fish. But the flavour was there and the fries were the best. Only won't order the gravy for the fries. $3.25 for maybe a 1/4 is flippin expensive.

Fish tacos were mostly an insane amount of shredded cabbage - but I'd go back and just try something different. My drink was good and so was the service!

Great place to meet others for more than just a meal. Patio was the perfect blend of background noise but quiet enough to talk. Staff was attentive yet not interrupting. Fantastic food was a bonus.

I visit this place many times. Good experience there but they removed few items from the menu, which I liked a lot. They should add more vegetarian items. Their nachos must try. I wanna say best nachos I ever had.

We dine in and also get takeout fairly often (about once/month). They've never made a mistake on our take out order. I am obsessed with the cowboy salad and fish tacos!

My wife and I came into Brown's for a late lunch. We had spent the morning in Winnipeg and as part of 34th anniversary we went to Brown's Socialhouse to enjoy a meal. At the end of our meal Angelo gave me the bill and we started chatting and I stated we were celebrating 34 good years of marriage. He congratulated us and provided us with a complimentary brownie. We were cheerfully greeted by 2 employees (one of which was Angelo). We had a great time because the atmosphere was good the service was great. Thank-you for being part of our special day. Looking forward to returning to Brown's in the near future.

This was a wonderful lunch meal. We got the cauliflower bites as an app, a burger and Fettuccini Alfredo. We were part of a larger group of 8 and service was excellent with the right amount of attention and excellent food.

Great waitress, frys where dry, hard and mealy. Coleslaw was off, sour. Fish was greasy. Won't go back. Way too expensive for subpar food. Not enough meat on French dip.

My family and I are visiting Winnipeg from Calgary, and we ordered food from here on our first night in town and it was fantastic. So good we ordered again the second night and everything we ordered was honestly the best food we’ve had from a restaurant in years. To be specific we had fish ‘n chips, French dip, chicken curry, gyoza’s, Thai curry soup, and a few others and every single thing was amazing. Keep up the good work Browns Social House! Thanks for everything!

Everyone enjoyed their meals (including vegan) I had fettuccine with blackened chicken. Delicious!

Prices are way too expensive and portions are really small for what you pay for. Ordered Kung Pao lettuce wraps and its suppose to be shareable but the amount they give you, is enough for one person. BUT they have amazing Long Islands

Cam and our server took really good care of us for my girlfriend's birthday party. We had such a blast and will be back really soon:)
