Overall it was a good experience. It was fairly empty and our waitress came by many times we had asked her for the bill multiple times after she took out plates. We had to ask another waitress if we could get our bill and after that it was still another 20min before they came. It wasn’t a big deal but it was kind of annoying. Otherwise the food was good and the atmosphere was fine.

A very dissapointed customer. I was ignored cause of some issue the servor had with another customer. Seems like she thought I was with them. Totally ruined my and my friends night. I had high hopes for the night, complete waste. I am very diasspointed. Learn to improve on customer services.

The food wasn’t really good. The burger size is way too small for the price, and the gravy cost over three dollars. We also got the dynamite roll and the rice was either old or your chef doesn’t know how to properly prepare it. We ordered caesar salad with the chicken quesadilla, the waiter did not tell us there was bacon in the salad, and my family does not eat pork. And I was clear when I ordered if the food has pork in it and I told the waiter about it and yet there was still bacon in the salad.

Service was great as always, food was tasty and fresh. The patio is a nice place to enjoy the nice weather and they have plenty of heaters and roof to keep you dry when it's raining and cooler.

I have been to a few different browns in the city but this one impressed me the most. The beer was ice cold and the sever was very friendly and attentive to allergies. The chefs choice spicy chicken sandwich was great and had a huge piece of chicken on it. Overall, a great experience and a tasty meal.

Started out great but kinda became worse the longer we stayed. Is more expensive than most places and kinda expected as soon as we saw the menus be a nicer dinner. Ordered dry ribs told us 15 mins later they were out and we could sub them for wings only after to be charged more than the dry ribs would be. Wings were very dry and over cooked in the fryer, felt like all skin no meat. Wings and the steak came out 10 mins after my partners nachos so I had to sit waiting for my food, only to get over cooked fries that had no inner was just a dry shell and my steak was cooked perfect but flavourless, also looked like 5 ounces at most not 7. I took two bites and the waitress asked if I wanted it re seasoned for what two more bites. The waitress most of the time sat at the bar and we had wait time with empty glasses as well as our late food like my steak was blue and took longer than everything else didn’t make sense. The drinks menu was great with lots of options as well tasted wonderful, the nachos were pretty great although some chips were very over seasoned. Can’t believe I paid 32 dollars (steak) for a meal I only got to half Finnish as but the time was to be corrected lost my appetite.
Wish we went somewhere else for our meal and spent $50 for the same and better meal at Boston pizza than here, for only getting sorta what we want for over $90.

Don’t even want to rate them cos the customer service was very rude, we come to these places to spend some value time with friends and they don’t treat us well, there was a white overly healthy lady with two braids even eating and came to take order with her dirty hands. I thing that lady was racist to brown people. This happened on march 14th at 9: 30

This was our first time there. We had the more amazing waitress (wish I knew her name but we were there on Wednesday at 2pm). She was such a beautiful soul! The food was beyond perfect and a great value for the portion side. Thank you so much for the amazing first visit. We will be back

As a regular customer for three years, I never encountered a problem until January 19.23. I went in to have a happy hour wine and appetizer. The food wasn’t bad and the Chardonnay was good. Well, when I looked at my bill I was shocked to see my bill was $35.00! I thought there was a mistake. I was charged $19.00 for yhe 9 ox Chardonnay and full price for the appetizer. I called the manager today and all she did was apologize the Chardonnay wasn’t on happy hour pricing she said. Well she knew I was there for happy hour and she failed to inform me that Chardonnay was excluded from happy hour oricing. And my sppetizer was also excluded. She should have offered me happy hour wine, knowing I was there for happy hour. I’ve been rooked! I won’t be returning.

We had Nachos that were disapointing. They just didnt taste very good. There wasnt enough cheese. The chips got burned a bit in the broiler.

The Bellinis were great though!

I recently visited Browns Socialhouse for the first time. The evening was off to a good start, as the drinks and initial menu item we ordered (housemade guacamole and chips) were both excellent.

Unfortunately the kung pao lettuce wraps were not very good. The chicken pieces were completely burned and very dry when the food was initially brought out. Even though the manager assured us she had checked the dish before it was remade/brought out again, the same thing happened a second time. By this point, I was hungry but wasn’t interested in ordering another appetizer.

Thankfully, our server (Grace) went above and beyond throughout our entire visit. She personally apologized about the order mishap and assured us that the lettuce wraps would be removed from our bill. In addition, she told us we could also choose a complimentary dessert. Grace was friendly, helpful and professional – by far the best server I’ve had in a long time!

We have been going to this Brown’s since it opened and I can honestly say we have never had such excellent service! @Liel531B was so attentive, got to know us a bit and showed genuine interest - the food was amazing as well!

First visit Sept 2022. Loved the restaurant. Such a warm inviting atmosphere. Great tables to sit at some with fire table. Lots of TVs for watching sports but no blaring sound to distract conversations. Food was excellent.lots of flavour and all dishes ordered were devoured. Not huge portions. Decent prices. Friendly, helpful staff. Fun night with friends.

Although the food and drinks were amazing, the service was out of this world! If you’re going to browns, ask for Grace (curly hair). She made the night a fantastic experience; so much so that my mom was raving about her the whole way home! Will be coming back asap!

Great atmosphere, great service, food was great! However, portions need to be bigger for the price tag they carry.

Went for lunch, staff very friendly and prompt with service. Great atmosphere. Food was very good. Would recommend them for sure and will return.

Too pricey. Small drinks. Very loud! Not enough tv screens/and too small if you like to watch a game. Feels just like a big bar but mixed with adults and kids.

First time coming here. Great customer service! The staff is very nice and super attentive. They made sure our glasses were always full. Food came quick and was delicious! We came on a Saturday, big group (birthday party) and we never felt rushed or a bother (like how other places make you feel if you come in a big group). A+ for your staff, they’re amazing!

So bad services by the front host have to wait so long to seated way of taking the orders and talk not good

Great furniture and environment.just wish they were much more consistent with quality control.and weren't so cheap with certain sides.like potatoes and rice. Come on!

Ordered a burger and fries. 20% of the fries were overcooked chicken scraps, burger was bland but fine

Very welcoming staff, good music, relaxing lighting, very extensive menu. Food came quick, and it was excellent. I got the fried chicken and pickles, which was a great choice for a lighter meal as I wasn't too hungry. On top of that, I ordered an Old Fashioned. Browns' take on that drink is great, I've never had one served with rye and a grapefruit slice anywhere else. It's a much appreciated alternative version to the usual bourbon and orange peel. I will definitely be coming here more often as it's not a far drive, and Browns is just a great chain all around.

Nice outdoor seating during summer. The outdoor area is covered and is open all year round with proper heating.

We moved into the area about a year ago and decided to try this location out. I wasn't impressed. I decided to give it another chance this evening, as maybe my first experience was a fluke. Nope, unfortunately not. My husband ordered a side salad and two happy hour appetizers. I ordered the soup, salad and garlic bread. He received what can only be described as a sprinkling of lettuce for $10. His fried pickles were tiny and basic. His fries were tasty but looked like half a potatoes worth. I received the wrong salad which was switched out for the correct one eventually. My soup was delicious. We paid 4.25 each for POP. The portions are ridiculously small and the value for money is non-exisitant. If you are going to give tiny portions of food for alot of money, the food better be AMAZING. When it's not, it really feels like a rip off. Thankfully our server was very friendly. We paid $60 for our meal and ended up having to go home and eat.not worth the money.

I will start by saying that the food we had was good but the portion sizes are small. There are definitely better restaurants out there for the price you pay going here. As well the service we had was very poor. Our server and those who were covering for him treated us like cattle. The atmosphere wasn't nice at all. It's been quite a while since we've experienced this kind of poor service. We were there last Friday October 22nd, I went to take a sip of my water and ended up having glass break into my mouth from the glass my water was in. I had to remove shards from my mouth. I'm fortunate that I didn't swallow any or chew on it thinking it was ice. All our server did was take it away and say sorry that it happened. Never spoke another word of it again and there was no compensation for us with that happening. There wasn't even a manager that came out to address what happened. We walked away feeling very disappointed after just wanting to go out and enjoy a meal together and unwind from the week.

$9.75 for this tiny, flat box of fries (it’s smaller than my hand) and it’s listed under “Shareables” on Skip the Dishes. Gravy is $3.25. What a rip off.

The vibe was just OK. Walking directly thru their enclosed patio to get to the I ndoor restaurant was not impressive. People eating while you shook off the out doors just seems weird. The covid prices were way too high so we felt the value did not correlate with the quality of the food which was just OK. Consumers will be absorbing the cost of the pandemic to businesses but if they are too high it will turn off consumers from going out as frequently.

The food was excellent and I was full of deliciousness when I left. Staff followed COVID safety protocols like they were required and they were polite and patient with us as they waited for us to order

Really liked there happy hour. Their house lager is really tasty. And the deep-fried picked and chicken was a great appetizer.

Lots of flies inside restaurant, lack a lunch menu, fairly expensive for a lunch. Food was great, server super polite.

Great tasting meal. Both my partner and I really enjoyed our meals. I ordered the schezuan noodle bowl and my partner ordered a half size chicken caeser. She said it was one of the best caeser's she's had in a long time. The chicken was really good she said. I loved my dish and would order it again. Little pricey for what you're eating but the service and atmosphere made up for it in my opinion.

Usually have a had a great experience here. Seems service/value has gone out the window. $20 for a $3 dollar bagged salad. Management had no answers. I usually don't leave reviews but wasn't wanting to spend $100+ to have a bottle of wine and send back a couple salads.

Love this location, food is awesome and so is atmosphere. Only reason for 3 stars is service was lacking. Ashley35 get it together and stop being so uptight and rude. Maybe it was just a bad day for her, but I will return. Keep it up Browns!

What I ate (Dragon Bowl) was delicious but I wish there were more vegan options. I could only choose from 2 entrees. Even the veggie burger wasn't able to be vegan.

Tried to come here with one friend, the waitress was so rude when we asked if we could make a reservation, we waited for someone to ask this question to for a few minutes and we had to chase after her on the patio. We also asked what the wait time was and she flat out just walked away from us without answering. A group outside had to answer our question, which was 3 hours wait time to get onto the patio and the staff told that group to not even bother waiting and they were wasting their time. So rude.

I like Brown's but our server today was so pushy that it made me so uncomfortable. My friend arrived 5 minutes prior to myself getting there to meet her on the patio, I arrive and the server asks what I would like, I order a water (with intentions of ordering a drink and food shortly). I guess I wasn't quick enough because she then let us know that there's a wait for tables on the patio and there's is a 90 minute time limit so if we were planning on ordering food we do it "sooner than later". I felt rushed and judged for not ordering the minute I sat down. We ended up leaving shortly after 60 minutes and I ordered food and a drink, but this specific server needs to calm down and stop seeing someone who needs a minute as a "wasted table" as I am sure that's exactly what she was thinking.

Am a frequent order from browns Main Street (twice a month). During the pandemic been trying to support restaurants. The last two times I have placed a pick up order we have been disappointed first time they forgot two of the side salads that came with cod bowls- not a huge deal. However last night ordered -the girl answering the phone put me on hold at least 6 times while taking my order- super rude and my order was wrong I asked for an extra piece of cod in my bowl and paid almost $10 for it and the fish was not included, I asked for tartar sauce on the side and came in it instead. Disappointing and then restaurants wonder why people go else where. When I called I should have asked to speak to a manager however the person answering the phone said sorry we are really busy with the new restrictions that changed- poor answer for customer service for take out clients!

Great patio and atmosphere. Not a lot of option around the area, so its nice go be able to go to a place like this. Normally the food is really good, last time I went was just OK - but they remedied it quickly for us.

Waited 20 mins just to be greeted by a waiter on the patio, decided to move inside because of the wind and the manager was very rude b*tching about us moving tables and then we waited 35 mins just for them to bring us flat pops and take our order.
Had to ask 3 times for our food. When we received our food it was half cold and half burnt! The chef came out of the kitchen only to stand across the bar to give me and my family mean intimidating stare down, I did not enjoy the service the whole entire staff was completely and utterly disrespectful to us only native people in the restaurant. This goes to show racism still strives and how people have no respect for indigenous peoples, can’t even enjoy a nice dinner. I don’t recommend this restaurant

Food was good. Our server on the other hand was not. A blonde lady served our table last night and did not attend to us. Constantly had to ask for service and our table was filthy. Perhaps time to have a talk on how to properly serve a table. Our evening experience was disappointing.

We live in the area and wanted to check out La Poutine week. We usually like to spread the take out to different restaurants, and unfortunately this one wont make cut in our rotation. The poutine was pretty good as well as fish tacos however we ordered a kids fettuccine for $10 which came with lovely burnt garlic toast. You can't send this out - it's inedible. Their website had a promo for free dessert if you spend $50 and wasn't included.

You guys have the audacity to charge 9$ For fries. 9 DOLLARS, and bowls with 3$ of ingredients you charge 20$ now, they were 14$ a year ago, not only that, but the portions are way less then they were. Absolutely sad, I will never set foot in here again

This is a great place for food, drinks and to meet other people, and the staff are friendly to deal with and just a great place to come to, also good music playing in the background

Always have a great time at Browns, great food and service to match. Great location for drinks and appetizers or coffee and dessert in the patio area. My fiance and I love the atmosphere weather were their for date night or with friends it's a comfortable and versatile restaurant.

Last time we were there our server was great, I wish I could remember her name, super nice girl short brunette, awesome service and handled our food issue very professionally. The manager was also amazing - my fiance ordered a burger that was described to not have onions (hes allergic), and when he received it there was a peice of onion in the burger. He caught it in time and the manager worked everything out for and was so kind and hospitable, a very good young professional. Will definitely go back again!

Jess and her team by far the best service in the city. Drinks Are never empty. Food is always excellent. Highly recommend.

We like to support local during this crazy time and so we ordered our usual from Browns SocialHouse. We ordered two appetizers and two mains and EVERYTHING was bordering on burned. Wings were so dry you could hardly find any meat, ribs were super well done. My husbands chicken sandwich was almost black. My cowboy salad had burned croutons and super dry and tasteless chicken. It’s as though someone recooked yesterday’s meat and then had a nap while it was all cooking. I feel like our options for take out just dropped one place. ️

Came for late lunch/early supper. We were able to take advantage of the drink specials on from 3-6. Their social white and social lager are very good. I had the dragon bowl and would highly recommend it. My spouse had a burger and said it was very good. Will definitely be back and would recommend this place.

Really good food in a pub type atmosphere. The prices are a bit higher than other dine in place but the service and food are really top shelf here. I don't eat here often but it's a great place to have a bit nicer dinner. The staff have always been amazing and accommodating as well.

Food was good, not exceptional though. Service was pretty slow the last time I went;it's never fast but this was much worse than their usual.

Excellent night out! Business dinner on a Thursday evening, greeted immediately and seated at a great table that allowed us to have a conversation without anyone close by. Brittney, our server, was fantastic. Very respectful and efficient. We tried the calamari which was alright, the Dynamite roll was very delicious then split a Caesar salad and the Italian Job pizza. All tasty.

Really Beautiful and relaxing atmosphere and the food was very well prepared and priced! Definitely a lot of value given, will be bringing company here more often.

Went for a group b-day party. Staff and service was good. For the most part everyone enjoyed their food. The hamburger I had and the chickenburger another person had were very wet and messy. Idk if that's a one off or the standard out of the kitchen. My friend gave up the chicken half way through, it wasn't good enough to put up with the mess. The wife liked her chicken Alfredo tho. Wouldn't go back voluntarily but would if I was invited for another party.

Fantastic. A very busy place on a saturday. I really enjoy their bowls, and the wife really like their burgers. Staff great also. Also a good place to catch a game.
