Nice layout (spacious and easy to navigate and see everything). Staff like making people's Teddy Bear dreams come true. Great seasonal items, so you can find something new and cool.

Brought my three year old little buddy there with his family and the staff were amazing with kids. They even had us adults participating in the build.

Excellent experience, took our sons to pick out a stuffie and it worked out really well. They both found characters they liked and the worker was great at walking them through filling it up and doing the heart routine. They were both really happy after.

Bears are not overly cheap though.

Me and my wife went there yesterday. The staff was all helpful and knowledgeable. The first person who was helping us was so kind and never once did it seam like she was annoyed with our questions. Ends up they were the store manager and were constantly happy and grating everyone and made even me feel so welcomed I ended up making my own build a bear when we had gone just for my wife. 10 out of 10 service. And the other employee was very helpful to and both answered all of our questions which were a lot. I would deffinatly go back again.

The staff are really kind and helpful. The location is pretty tiny, but I think that’s to be expected for Winnipeg.

We took our daughter here for her bday party of 6. From the very beginning, it was an amazing experience!

Payton, Zachary, and Manon were incredible.

They took great care with watching over the girls and really making them feel special.

A fun, easy, and great idea. The girls got to build their favorite Pokémon and stuffed animals.

Highly recommend booking a party here!

Staff was great, my kiddo got toothless and it was expensive, but thier happy and that's all that matters.

I still have both of the bears my father in law made for my wife and son when she had him 18 years ago and they are both in awesome condition and the voice chip still works and I say it was money well spent

We were sent the wrong order, when we tried to correct it we were told the items were now out of stock and that the order couldn't be fulfilled

Today we were helped by the most friendly and caring lady, I believe her name was Jenna. She took the time while I was paying to talk to my 4 year old (birthday today), and have a real conversation with him. He even mentioned her later on while we were grocery shopping, so you know she made a lasting impact on him as well. Such a wonderful experience all around in this store.

I brought my son to the Build-a-bear Polo Park and was helped by an employee named Shy. She was very energetic and pleasant to both me and my son through the whole experience. My son was so happy with how his bear turned out and hasn’t stopped mentioning going back to see Shy again to make another one! Thanks for the great experience for our first time at build-a-bear!

It was my granddaughters first time to build a bear, and let her pick what she wanted. We walked out with a bear and a cat. We have a very happy 17 month old, she loves them both

Me and my 3 yr old toddler were recently here as she was finally able to use her gift cards from christmas she got. We are not from winnipeg so we travelled 8 hours to use them and get that “cute” build a bear experience for her instead of ordering online. We were greeted and told the prices thats was great and the girl working the stuffing was friendly! I think her name was tatum or patience.she had glasses anyways and was working on the civic holiday. Anyways after we were done stuffing me and my daughter were looking for the clothes. No help with the prices or anything even though i asked. No biggie we picked out the clothes and such.but when it came to check out the worker named “sarai” was trying to upsell us on a gift card even though i let her know shes using her gift cards when we first walked in. As she was scanning the items i asked her to check the price without a a certain pair of shoes as i didnt want to go to much over her gift card budget. She didnt seems to like that as she said in a snotty voice im not done scanning all the items yet.okay i remain quiet and wait for her to be done.but then she proceeds to scan the shoes i told her not to bc i wanted to see the price we were at without them.anyways i let her finish scanning everything we brought up because she was giving me attitude already.and i ended up being a little over what i wanted to spend so i asked her to take the shoes off bc i wanted to know the total without the shoes in the first place. She says some snotty remark in there about her ”doing her job” regarding scanning everything. I said i tried to ask u what the price was before u scanned it all.like its a huge deal i asked how much i was at without one item. She stares me down like im really going to make her enter the items again over one item.like its my fault she wasnt listening to what i was asking her in the first place. I communicated that she had an 80$ gift card and that i didnt wanna go to much over the budget when i first walked up to check out. Anyways she took the pair of shoes off that i had asked her to then starts talking about a gift card like i didnt just tell her earlier were sticking to her budget. So i was a little dumbfounded i wasnt being listened to. This was my first time stepping into a build a bear and first time buying from one. I was expecting a cute experience for my daughter but i dont think we were given the experience thats advertised. It felt rushed and filled with attitude over legit questions a customer would have. Our total ended up being 107ish 80 of that was paid with gift cards. So we deff went over our budget no biggie my daughter deserved the treat. Just next time maybe don't give people attitude when they want to try stick to a budget and dont upsell them on things they dont want! And please give each and EVERY child the same cute build a bear experience thats advertised. Some kids look forward to this and travel far to get that experience.

Came here to get our 1, year old his first build a bear. The staff were very helpful and very friendly. We found the bear that he wanted and they built it for him

The only issue we had was after leaving, we found they forgot to stitch up a section of it so we had to do it at home.

Very fun perky place. If youre shy like me you'll find all the steps to making your Bear like hugging and jumping really odd and awkward. Its all for fun though. My suggestion bring a younger person to go through the dance to make your bear for you oh and get them one too I guess.

Staff were very friendly and helpful with our kids, helping them get their bears built just how they wanted it!

Great selection of accessories and bears to choose from, clean place and friendly staff. They make you feel comfortable and welcome in the space.

BAB Is always a great place to go, especially if your a stuffie collector as I am! Always treated like a king and part of the family. Never a dull moment as the magic happens.

Took my three children recently for the first time, and the process took a lot longer than I expected. Was expensive with not as many choices as online. One of purchases, had ripped the same day and since has had another. Store only offers to sew it themselves as a first solution, which is not convenient when you live an hour away. Overall, thought it was strange and not worth it. Won't be going back

I love taking my daughter here, she sure enjoys it. The staff really do an amazing job with making the filling process special for the kids.
