Really neat store, got 2x inflatable kayaks and a 4 person tent for under $400 on a sale. Cool candy, fudge and snacks to buy near checkout as well.

Bought few thing there for ice fishing items. Spoke on phone very clear too compare to many companies!

The customer service there is non existent. No one answers phone calls, and the web site is never correct about items being in stock.

While trying to call about a scope, I was met with rude staff over the phone who instead of transferring me just hung up the phone. I was talking normally and politely. There are tons of gun places around to order from, stay away from this place and maybe they'll work on their attitudes when sales drop.

Always find great deals here. I can never walk into Cabelas and work out empty handed. Todays fine was amazing. My boyfriend and I each got the small size skillet for $14.99 each with bonus s’mores when the selling price was about $30 for one, $15 definitely well spent with. Always wanted a small size skillet for a breakfast combo. And the associates are always very helpful a nice

Great store. I always come in even when I'm not needing anything just to browse around. Staff are generally very knowlegable. Nice selection of Carhartt though they used to have more if I remember correctly.

The day we visited Cabelas was on a Black Friday event it was busy as ever, lots of sale items were all in the isles no shortage when we were there. Only problem I noticed was when they advertised there sale item they put similar nonsale items on the rake of the sale item gives the illusion that all the item on the rack are on sale until you go to the till and pay for that item that usually thought it was on sale you need to read the fine print on the sale card. Bahumbug.

Had a hard time finding help locating a product in the store, asked multiple staff members but none of them could give me an answer or offer me any assistance. I was looking forward to buying some new gear but after that experience I left the store empty handed.

A bit pricier than buying online but when you want something that's on sale or can't wait it's the way to go.

Gun counter guys are great to deal with, even if you're not buying anything.

Service at the checkout was very friendly and informative. Phillip was full of energy and enthusiasm. A breath of freah air dealing woth someone with customer service in mind. Thank you for making our experience memorable!

Mask exemptions accepted and respected here. Was asked at the door, I stated I was exempt and the rest of my shopping was hassle free.

Looking for sporting goods this is the place to. Great selection of many products, if you can't find it there you probably won't find it elsewhere.

Had a somewhat negative visit today.
The firearms staff need better training. Pairing the incorrect ammo with a newly purchased firearm, results in a poor experience. Love the store and products. Staff just need some book time.

Somehow every time I go here I leave behind at least half a grand. Anybody that finds it could please return it to me thanks.

I absolutely love the products, there is one problem though, most of the products are very high priced. (And a lot of it's Chinese stuff).

Love going here for all my hunting and fishing gear. Hard not to spend less that $200. But always worth it

Very impressed by the knowledgeable staff, very wide range of products, and customer service was so helpful. They were able to answer all of my questions. They made sure I had everything I needed before I left my first stop in. Friendly cashiers at checkout, too! Really exceeded my expectations!

Cabela's is pretty much the only outdoor based store in Winnipeg so I'm always there buying stuff. The downside is that for the past two months they've barely been restocking the racks, especially in the camping section, clothing and knives. Hopefully they'll stock up soon because I don't want to pay shipping and handling for a place I live 3 blocks from.

It's funny to say that Cabela's is cost efficient but it is far from being affordable, since it is the only large outdoor store of it's type in Winnipeg they really do have a monopoly.
So be cautious and know your prices.

I pretty much knew what I wanted and where to find it but the staff realized as I was wandering the area that I needed assistance. Wonderful staff.

BONNIE was very helpful. I had previously bought a Item on sale, and now I wanted to buy more, but the Item was not on sale anymore. But BONNIE mad it happen, I was able to get the same sale price (50% off)

This is an excellent store. So much to see, you truly need a couple of hours to explore it all. Tons of outdoor equipment for camping, hunting, fishing, hiking, etc. Staff is friendly and informative. Cool decor. They sell fudge.

If you ever need to call in an

order to find a product or to talk to someone, don't waste your time since no one ever picks up, especially in Firearms. I wish we had a Canadian version since all the best hunting and fishing is in Canada. And why are we supporting an American store?

Helpful staff and great sales. Although their regular prices can be a bit higher than average, you can usually get great deals on Cabela's or Bass Pro products, plus they have a great selection of items you can't find in other stores.

These guys do customer service right. Had an issue with my SmartWool, they accepted it back no problem. Only issue they had none to replace with.

I had contacted your Customer Service Center on approximately Dec 21st about an online order that I was having shipped to my grandson in rural Manitoba. In error I had entered the Box # address and should have entered the physical address. I called to inquire about the status and was advised that the item hadn’t been delivered due to this error. The Customer Service rep that was assisting me, Kerri was awesome to deal with. She rectified the problem quickly and rerouted for me. I worked in the Service industry for 37 years so am aware of the challenges and trying times that can entail. She was great and I would like to send a commendation to her.

Tough days lately, a lot of things you cannot buy in person, but the curbside pickup system is working quite well.
Too bad some people are not being very patient.

Opens at 9am, phoned from 9am to 9: 15am, phone line at store still closed.
Got through to in store phone line later in day, was hung up on.
Finally got through even later in the day. Covid-19 has been a thing here for awhile, figure it out Cabela's.

Archery has been amazing! 2nd to none in this city with experience and knowledge. Bow was tuned and has never shot better

Found more fxr clothes in all sizes then the actual fxr store on several occasions for cheaper. Huge inventory and beautiful store. Friendly staff.

My husband and I had a very nice time at Cabela's. Our young grandson had fun looking at everything and my husband showed real interest in most items at Cabela's. It is like his "Toy Store. "

Some staff are incredibly knowledgable. I gain a great deal of fishing experience from a couple of the staff there. Couldn't ask for more.

Great selection with fairly reasonable prices. The staff are mostly very helpful. The family bathroom with the only baby changing station was locked with no one inside, and when we asked why, the sales person just got flustered and apologized before walking away. My neice had to be changed in the fitting rooms. Quite inconvenient, the least she could have done was check up with another staff member to help if she didn't know why.

I was looking at a $300 under armor hunting jacket, they had small sizes but nothing bigger. So the lady working told me they had 12 in stock at the warehouse and to go to the back and pre pay and they can have one sent over.

Go to the back and get told “no, those stay at the warehouse and we can’t order them”, okay that doesn’t make sense.

Was kind of upset considering I was willing to pay money for this jacket and knowing they had some many at the warehouse, so I called the office. They said we also have another 9 in stock in Alberta but they aren’t willing to have it sent over. Thanks for the help guys! Guess I won’t be getting the jacket I want for this season.

There are many unique and innovative items here and plenty of straight up options in outdoor wear and footwear. Camouflage is big here but not exclusively so check it out.

Great store, the store hosts many events where children can get free fishing and hunting gear (nothing big) not to mention they let you test your bow before you buy it

Online said they had several options for what I was looking for in stock. In store there wasn't any. Employee couldn't explain and didn't offer to look. But it's an amazing store all in all

Nearly anything may be in stock, and seldom more than ten days on a special order. Worth the visit for that gun library alone.

I found exactly what I wanted! The staff were helpful and polite. They were out of stock for one of the products I was looking at and the gentleman told me where I could find it if I needed it right away.

Great selection of outdoor clothing and fishing items. They need more fly fishing and tying items, however.

This is my favorite store. Very friendly staff. Very clean store and it always Smells like caramel. They also always have a family friendly event. They set up a bunch of activities for the kids. On our most recent visit, my son one a Cabela's bobber tin.

The staff in the fishing section were extremely helpful. The salesperson answered all of my questions and even guided me towards new lures and explained techniques to use. I will be more than happy to continue shopping here. Keep up the good work.
