Visiting my long-time friend in THE PEG she had raved about this place last April so it was on my DEFINITE TO DO list this visit.
Did not disappoint! A MASSIVE pizza topped with our favourites on a thin crust (but it held up to the WEIGHT!) of crispy almost cheesy crust with a wonderful bit of "bark" on the outer edges.
I saw some of the sandwiches being rolled and almost cancelled the pizza.they looked FABULOUS!
VERRRYYY civilized to be able to pick out a bottle of wine from a very reasonable range of vintages and prices (I am from Ontario).
We had the pizza for about three meals it was so massive!

resh Alfredo, another pasta that started with an A, Greek salad, cheesecakes etc. The service was a big help and the food was hot, fresh and full of flavour. First time I’ve ever had Calabria’s food but would recommend the food or the service. Thank you!

I loved this place but me and my girlfriend had an unpleasant experience with Rachel (one of the managers) and due to this incident we have decided we will no longer support this market as we felt disrespected and insulted by her remarks and words used during our visit!

Whether you like to make your own pizza or buy their great pizzas you can't miss here. The wine selection is awesome, I have been going here for 20 years and am never disappointed.

I’ve been a fan of Calabria for over 15 years and I love how the food is still the best in the city! The pizza is hands down my favorite. The Deluxe is my go to and there just are no words to describe it other than perfection!
I currently live in NYC where there are pizza joints on every block that have great pizza but there’s something about Calabria’s pizza that will never compare. It’s just that good!
I look forward to my next trip home so I can get my fill of pizza

Had a few slices of pizza at a work lunch and decided to order 4 pizzas for a family function today. They were able to half-bake them so we could finish them at home ourselves, and accommodate people's arrival times. The pizzas did not disappoint. Everyone was impressed. We had cheese lovers, steak lovers, meat lovers and Carolina chicken. Will be back for sure, and spend a bit more time in the market. They sell dough and all ingredients in case you want to make your own. Great find.

I like their selection of wine and their meat lasagna. Love their game night pizza, salad and wine combo.

Love the flavour, and pull of the cheese. The sauce has a beautiful tang to it. ; yet there is still a bit of sweetness. This is great pizza. The crust is a bit heavy and chewy for me. My own personal preference is a bit lighter and a little more crunch. But, I did not see an option to order the bake 'Well Done'

Made an order in the morning, was charged and confirmed. Then with 1.5 hours before delivery, was emailed to notify it was cancelled. Had to call the store to find out and was told they were too busy and were not supposed to be accepting new orders. Really not an acceptable way to communicate this, disappointing experience and ruined my staff lunch we were looking forward to.

Almost perfect. Amazing pizza and subs. We love frequenting this place. Sadly, last visit was lacking. Wanted a few subs. Got an unhappy employee who gave so little cold cuts we left with 3 sad bread subs. Would like to see consistency with staff when prepping food. Will be back and hope this was just a one off bad experience.

Where to begin.well, let's just jump in. Calabria, the place I have driven by my whole life but never went in gained a long life customer this week. It started with picking up a wine advent calendar (easily the best one in the city, or anywhere you can deliver from). Helped me from start to finish, as two different associates dropped what they were doing to give me a hand. I returned a couple of days later to just puruse the store and left with a plethora of stuff. Great deli counter, amazing premade meals, awesome wine selections and really so much more. They pack alot of treats in this store, so you'll find a new gem everytime. Best gift baskets on the market, all I can say is thank you and I'm sorry it took me so long to find you.

Great place for lunch and dinner. Pasta made fresh and the subs are amazing. Plus lots of unique wine on hand too to compliment your take home dinner.

Love the pizza here but called at 7: 38pm and they wouldn't take my order because they close at 8pm. I'm rarely in that end of the city and was pumped for good quality pizza. Quite disappointed.

Truly one of the best neighborhood markets in Winnipeg. Food and wine selection is absolutely amazing. The staff makes you feel like family. Coming from someone who visits the market multiple times a week - it's worth it!

Let me tell ya, my buddy told me to go there, go right to the back and ask for the Italian meat sub. It's the best. He wasn't lying. Absolutely unreal.
Unfortunately for my wallet I ventured down a couple aisles and found some other goodies. Totally worth it.
To top it all off, the woman working the till was an absolute gem. 10/10, definitely recommend to a friend. Already have actually.

All the staff is very friendly, professional and helpful. The owner is particularly nice and you can tell she really cares about her business. They have a great selection of specialty ingredients and a very good selection of wine. I went here because a friend recommended the take home pizzas and I’m very impressed each time I visit!

My husband and I drive across the city to get their sub sandwiches. Anything we buy is great quality too!

Excellent little shop with variety of services. Pizza is fantastic and wine shop has a fairly good selection of wines.

This is a gem of a place. There is always something new to try at the store. I have yet to try their famous subs but their pizza dough is the best for home made pizzas, we will never attempt to make it ourselves anymore.

Parking lot is easy to access.

I have shopped here quit a few times and the products and quality are top notch. Their subs and pizza cannot be beat, the quality ingredients and the time and care given to make and way above average!

Fantastic little shop with mouth watering pre cooked foods and mind blowing baking! All of that dulls in comparison to the super friendly service. I needed green tomatoes in March and Cathy spent the time to source them and get them in for me. The only reason they don't get 10 stars is because only 5 are available so I'll give them 7.

Great service today. It is usually ok, but seems they have stepped up their game. Subs are a great choice here and the pizza looks great.

and of course the homemade roast beef has to be eaten right away cuz it's got no preservatives and it tastes great but it doesn't last 2 weeks in your fridge like other stuff filled with chemicals that give you cancer.family run business started many many years ago and this is very successful so support your local business.the wolf says so.even though the politicians and the doctor politicians are making life hell on Earth for us because we can't buy printer ink for some stupid reason get down there and support your local merchants or the wolf is going to make life hell for you! I don't want to see you in Walmart or Costco I want to see you at your local Independent business. I'll be watching!

We have been ordering pizza here for years. Calabria Market had never disappointed us. The food and service are top notch!

I ordered the Steak Lovers pizza through Door Dash. The pizza arrived uncut. I was helping my friend move and everything was in boxes, so she had no desire to go through her boxes to search for a knife to cut the pizza. We ended up tearing the pizza into pieces, which for $26 is ridiculous. Otherwise, it tasted bland/lacklustre.

The staff are all friendly, the sandwiches are fantastic, and I also love the Calabria salad and pizza! Lots of chocolates and snacks I don't see anywhere else.
I would (and do) recommend to anyone!

This is an absolute hidden gem of winnipeg! The amazing staff are only out done by the food they serve.

One of the best Italian Markets in the city.pizza is great, and the half baked pizza I can get and take home to cook in my own oven is great because it gives me a little more freedom of when to eat it. Everytime I go I have to get the Calabria spicy olives, my mouth waters thinking of them. The wine selection is great and the staff there are always very friendly and helpful.

Locally owned and operated. This is a great little market for just about anything. Pizza, pasta, wine, chocolate. They have a sandwich counter too so you can have an Italian sub made if you cant wait till you get home ;)

Just popped in while in the neighborhood. Did not buy anything, but was impressed by their selection. They have wine, cheeses, a well stocked deli lots of dry goods, ready to cook pasta dishes in a freezer and a small sit down eating area. There looks to be a patio, but it was winter so that was closed. Plan to go back and try them at some point

The young man working the wine counter, I believe his name was Quinn, he was very knowledgeable and professional. We came in for one bottle of wine and left with 4! Cant wait to shop here again!

The food and staff are equally amazing. I had a 12" sub that was absolutely terrific and so filling I may not need to eat for the rest of the day.

Pizza was good. Salad was good. It was a free salad because last week order was not what we ordered, and be they made it right. Now it was good.

The most underrated lunch place but the food is fresh, ingredients and delectable and having a little taste of Italy! Loved it!

My son could eat pizza 24/7 and this place is his first choice for pizza-ALWAYS! They have good food, wonderful service and a very pleasantly friendly staff.
