Service in this restaurant is extremely slow. The food is tasty overall. Something for everyone including children.

A great informal place for the team to set up for our hockey tournament, with a decent pool, and decent food at a great price, staff is all very friendly. A weird thing to note is, quiet time starts at 10 PM on the second floor but 11 PM on the main floor.

It was enjoyable. But no air conditioning and only fans, too, keep cool. Not the best.

We had a family suite, the kids loved the bunk beds, and the painting on the walls.

The only other thing is kids are loud in the hall.

It is priced the same as the updated hotels. A little annoyed with that.

One of the people staying with me forgot their AirPod Pro’s in the hotel room. We called the hotel and explained it to them. They checked with the housekeeping staff and they said that they didn’t find any. They told us that nobody had stayed in the room after us, which meant that the housekeepers were the only people to be in that room. The part that made us upset is that we can see the location of the AirPods and the location was not at the hotel anymore. It was at an apartment building nearby. This meant that one of them stole it. The hotel staff didn’t do anything about the situation and they were useless. They told us to email them to make it seem like they are helping, but of course they didn’t respond. We expected that. They knew we lived in the United States so they figured we couldn’t do anything about it.

I've stayed in allot of hotels and let me say there are a few things that made this an excellent experience. It started with a pleasant greeting on arrival. They were promt, room was ready, and freshly cleaned! The cleaners did a wonderful job and via the front desk were very accommodating during my stay. An added bonus was having aaltos for a great breakfast to start the day!

Great service, great staff, great food. Would highly recommend!

Right now in the pool area with our lo and there is ice cold air gushing in from outside at the top of the waterslide! Not a nice experience. They're aware but don't know when it will be fixed.

Pillows smelled like stale beer, baseboard heaters broken and sparks, mold in bathroom, burn marks on counters.changed rooms twice and was still not comfortable.doesn’t even feel safe.desperate for a massive upgrade.

So unwelcoming and such a hassle! I checked online to ensure there were rooms available before I came to the location. The website mentioned there was a king suite and a themed suite available so I went there to go pay for and take the king suite. When I got to the front desk, I asked for a suite and his automatic response was "we're fully booked for the night" with no other questions or concerns. I right away mentioned that I just checked online and it said that there were suites available. He responded "oh is there? " Like what? Didn't even bother to look or ask me any questions of what my needs were at all. That's when he finally decided to check and he said there were 2 suites available. He then pointed the direction of where to go for my suite which was through and past the Aaltos restaurant and told me to go up the elevators which I did. Only for a security guard (the only nice employee I came across while being there), told me I was heading in the wrong direction. I was sweaty from hauling my heavy luggage around so this was annoying. Thankfully the security guard took initiative and decided to help me with my luggage to the complete opposite end of the hotel of where my room was. I also need to mention, I am of Indigenous descent. I am not going to call the front desk representative a racist but after my experience here, I have heard horrid stories of Canad Inns constantly having issues of racism against Aboriginal people. And the fact the man took one look at me and decided they have no rooms available for me without even checking in their system says a lot. Also, in the morning, I decided I wanted to stay another night. Of course I checked online first to see if they had a room available for a 2nd day and from what I seen on their website they did. I called the front desk and asked for a 2nd night even if it was in another room and their response AGAIN was "we're fully booked" and that's when I had to mention again I just checked online and the website shows that there are rooms available. The environment is definitely unwelcoming and not accommodating. Truly not great for business.

Two days before the banjo bowl the hotel called and said there was “damage” to some rooms and we were being moved downtown. I had specifically booked canad fort garry because of its location and free shuttle service to the game. Not only would they not give us a cheaper rate, they would not accommodate a shuttle or taxi voucher. They offered a $20 tab at the tavern…. Absolutely disgusting. The lady that called talked to Joe and that’s all he would offer.

Also, I don’t believe there was damage as three other people (not booked together) were also told they had to move. Zero help, terrible service. Will never stay here again. Totally ruined an exciting weekend.

This was an absolutely horrid experience. We had 2 rooms booked for the night. The first room of ours was filthy. There was feces in our toilet, the beds were disgusting and very clearly unwashed, etc. The second, the lock for the door was broken. And they wanted us to "tough it out". We were a group of women, so being alone in an unlocked room made us pretty uncomfortable to say the least. They did end up switching our rooms in the end, but it tool a lot of hassle. Overall not a good time. I personally will not be returning.

Altos takeout only, no ice machines. The only thing I was told when booking that the pool was closed. Disappointing stay. Most staff was nice and efficient.

Heard this was a great place to stay great food and great staff but recently a guest experienced bed bugs and had to get rid of all their stuff after their stay, not interested until this place fixes that problem.

At the front desk, I got racially harassed by the manager said her name was autumn. I drove far to see my friend but the manager harasssed on entry. I just want to write my experiences because I can’t even say the words this woman used on me

Awesome exterior with a unique design palate. Most hotels go with the usual "tall building boxed look" but this is a nice reminder of what creativity gives you. Unfortunately I cannot say the same for the rooms, while they do have special looks for their special suites, the standard rooms are just very basic. If a little more can be done to those rooms then am sure more guests will love the experience.

Paid extra $10 per night for $20 restaurant credit. Stayed 2 nights. Was told when checking in that credits would be taken off room bill at checkout. Tavern refused to take our credits (paper business cards) due to Covid. Waiting 30 days now for credits in credit card statement was told not to worry when calling in. No response through emails.

We had an enjoyable mini getaway here for Valentines. We stayed in a Theme suite so we could at least have a hot tub. We stayed in the South Seas room. It was very well laid out. The hot tub did have water escaping in the rug somehow. Might not be a bad idea to change the rug to tile around the hot tub.

This is my second stay and my last, there were no towels in the room both times for 4 people which was annoying. The tv cut in and out all night. The rooms are super old and run down and very loud. Not sound proof at all. You can hear every time someone flushed a toilet or uses the shower. Pretty annoying. I could hear the neighbours clear as day. We ordered from Altos and they didn’t get the order right and we’re rude on the phone. We choose this hotel because of the theme room and the jacuzzi, this was the only positive part of the room. Won’t be back

Overall, the main lobby/restaurant area could use a bit of updating. The fake plants are in need of dusting! The room was great, very clean and had all the essentials needed for a good rest. Pool area extremely busy with kids

During our stay our door stopped working, they said they would send someone. They never did. So every time we needed in our room we had to get the front desk to open it for us. At no point did anyone ever apologize for the inconvenience or offer us any kind of a discount etc. We won't be staying at this location again.

It was alright. The room was clean, and, comfortable. A bit dark though. The colours are depressing. My room had no view of the outside. The old guy at the desk is a graduate of the Basil Fawlty customer service academy. Alto's is alright, but the food gets repetitive if you are there for a long time. The pub is great.

What I hated was the noise from guests allowing their kids to run up and down the hall, and, every Sunday morning, a church group banging drums all morning. It is a hotel, not a fair ground. Consideration for guests, some of whom are there on business wouldn't go a miss.

DISGUSTED with the communication from this hotel and I haven’t even had the misfortune of staying yet. Booked for a birthday party and was not given the correct information, hotel refused to accommodate for their error and management ignored phone calls and messages. If there was time to fix this without disappointing a group of kids I would run for my life rather than give any of the inconsiderate “staff” in this hell hole my time and money. So mad!

I love the atmosphere here. But I dont like how much chlorine they put in the pool last I was here.my skin dried out so bad and lungs stung after a while.

It's a nice property. Rooms are well equipped. Haven't used the pool, but coworker said he liked it, but it's noisy.
My room was next to the pool and pretty noisy also, but the sound of kids having fun has never bothered me. The pool is closed around ten or eleven anyway. Staff were friendly and helpful. The only downside is their policy that the room Must be serviced every 48 hours, so if you check in Friday night, and want to not be disturbed until Monday morning, that's not possible. I would think if your were Bieber or Trudeau, they would make an exception, but not for average Joe. I suppose their actual concern is to make sure you haven't hung yourself or turned your room into a brothel, rather than ensuring it's clean.
Restaurant food is good, but a bit pricey. You could get a 15 percent discount at the front desk though.
Any issues or concerns I had were addressed promptly, and always with a smile.

As we checked in, we were warmy welcomed and informed that we had been upgraded from a standard room to a king suite - What a wonderful surprise! A fruit, cheese, and cracker tray was waiting for us in the fridge - so thoughtful and quickly devoured! After a few minutes of getting settled in, the front desk called to ensure that everything was fine. The suite was spacious and clean (even to my finicky standards!) and the bed was so comfy that we slept like logs.
Thank you CanadInn for another great stay! Of course we will be back!

I like staying here. My kids have a lot of fun in the pool, although there should be somebody at the top of the slide making sure the kids don't run over the other kids that go down the slide.couse some parents do not watch their kids they let them go wild.
Good food, great selection on the menu. The buffet has lots to pick from and great food.

We were pleased with the accommodation. All cleaned. We were there for one night. We had a electric heater that would be very noisy when it came on almost every hour. The shower was low pressure. We talk to front desk and they told us they would fix it. We feel the price was maybe higher then the closes hotel but they do have a pool.
