I have left 4 phone messages and sent an email to this company and have not received any thing in return. When you can’t get an answer on the status of a claim and have explained that you have no income coming in it’s very frustrating

Customer Service has long gone out the Window with this company. Getting an agent on the phone are the same odds of winning a lottery! I had to activate my new Health spending Visa, so I called the number it tells me to in order to Activate. I punch in my card number information and it says "This is a new Card please call.and it gives me a new phone number to call. First Time I called I was on hold for 47 minutes and had to hang up, because I also have a life to live. Second Time I called I was on hold for 78 minutes and still nobody! I pray to GOD that Canada Life never takes over Emergency 911, or we will have people dying across the country because of the usual lack of staff in big corporations! I Pay this company Money for benefits that I cannot use! DISGUSTING!

PSHCP debacle needs no further explanation. Since there is no other way of contacting CanadaLife, I'm trying their various offices and representatives. A negative review reflects inability to help.

Have been calling FOUR different 1-800 numbers for about 3 months.
The numbers ring for 40-50 times & not answered.
Trying to get my health insurance resolved.

With others insurance companies, the waiting time to receive call was less than 10 minutes. It's almost 1 hour with them. And I didn't like the agent's attitude at all. She was very reluctant to answer my questions.

Trying to complete the online registering from Sunlife to Canada Life is brutal costumer service, transferred 4 times and still not the right person. Everyone working there gives great reviews, everyone trying to access service says terrible. I'd say it was great as an employee as well if I was passing all calls to me to someone else!

My employer switched our group benefits plan within Canada Life's offerings and it's been bungled from start to finish. Messages sent via Canada Life at Work sometimes get responded to in a few days, sometimes not at all. The benefits portal doesn't display accurate info for coverages; eg. Eye exams I'm covered 1 every 24 months. It shows I'm eligible for another immediately even though I had one 16 months ago. The EAP offering is similarly poor. Morneau Shepell turned into LifeWorks turned into TelusHealth all within the last year or two. I think it's all a scam. EAP's should provide actual help to people, this one is way to cumbersome to use.

This company is absolutely horrific! Filed a disability claim on my group plan on March 2… My surgery is next week and still have no answers! Have called now for 3 weeks and only get voicemail with no return calls, and no response to emails either!

Have had multiple policies for 30 years with London Life/Canada Life which have all been long term; I had to request a payout of a policy to pursue an investment opportunity and couldn't reach anyone to assist.

A cheque was said to have been mailed out a week after the policy was closed and over a month later nothing has arrived. I called my agent over two weeks ago to request a couriered cheque with a tracking number for my own pice of mind and they told me they wouldn't accommodate me.

Then I asked for any other method of payment as the cheque was either not ever produced and or was lost in transit and they told me direct deposit within 3-5 business days and the funds would be received; that was a week ago - Horrible customer service and even worse communication and client care practices.

Happy to pull all of my policies and health care, thanks for nothing but aggravation. Hope this information assists someone else to make an educated decision.

Extremely disappointed and feel customers deserve better.

Sent an email on 3 Jan 2023 and got reply 31 Jan 2023, and the reply do not give any information or direction. Tried to call at least 20 times at different day different time during their office hours. Had wasted so many hours but no one pick up the phone. No sure if the company even exists in the planet (they took money onetime for sure)
