I have taken my daughter there a few times to get her shoes and boots. She had quite wide and small feet. Nowhere else has the proper size nor good service to help her find a comfortable, safe shoe for her.
Last year we tried to save money and try Walmart. She wound up buying a men's boot in a size 10, as no women's shoes and boots have the width she needs. When those men's boots just didn't cut it anymore, she went to The Shoe Company. Again no attentive fitting service. She went with a size 9 men's boot.
Now that she has mobility issues she really needs good, proper fitting boots for this winter. So she went to Canadian Footwear. Staff properly sized her feet and she was given an actual women's boot with the width and in a size 7 1/2.
The staff are not afraid to serve their customers, get up close to feet and they make sure the shoes fit and you are comfortable and happy before you leave. They are not just about make a sale for the sake of commission. They really do care, and that is rare these days.

They are also very accommodating and compassionate to those with disabilities, including intellectual and developmental disabilities. We really do appreciate the staff for being kind and understanding while we sorted out a miscommunication. Everything worked out in the end. Thank you very much, again.

No women nor girl should have to compensate width with a larger size, nor should we have to deform our feet to "break in" shoes.
Yes, the shoes are costly, but it's a small price to pay to save yourself from severe foot problems later.

As for myself, I needed comfortable runners for a job where I'm on my feet all day and need a good arch support and cushioning. Sketchers were really nice for a wile, even though my toe was cramped. Then they just stopped being cushy and my toe was spilling over the sole. Went to Canadian Footwear, as we had been there before and I couldn't find shoes that would be suitable for standing and walking, and those added in-soles cramped my feet even more. Got a pair of New Balance runners. I thought I had narrow feet. Turns out they're wide. It really does make a big difference.
We will definitely be repeat customers.

Canadian footwear has personalized service they measure your feet to make sure your getting the proper sized shoes they do have some clearance items if your on a budget

At 1 Time Canadian Footwear had the best footwear on the Market. Today things are not like this, they are selling Low End Footwear at a Very High Price. I purchased a pair of running shoes and within 3 weeks the soles on the bottom of the shoes let go. Took them back to Canadian Footwear and they told me that there was nothing they could do for me. How Canadian Footwear can put an Add on TV showing a foot repair person and all the other benefits are nothing but Lies. I will never step into another Canadian Footwear again. Do yourself a favour and go to places like Walmart, you will not only save money at Walmart, Walmart will either give you a Full Refund or Replacement. Please do yourself a favour and don’t let Canadian Footwear rip you off. Highly Recommend Avoid Canadian Footwear at all costs, very dissatisfied customer.

My go to place to find shoes for my specially difficult to fit feet. Staff is knowledgeable and willing to go the extra mile.

Very good service. They care about your feet not just about selling something. My assistant was very knowledgeable and helped me out. They also have mostly very good brands.

Poor customer service. Tried twice to call the store, the only option was to leave a message. I left a message to phone me back at 12: 15pm, and did not receive a response.

Went there looking for shoes for my son, a fellow named Todd helped us and was very knowledgeable and made very good suggestions on what my son should wear for comfort and support. He was super friendly and very caring towards our needs as a consumer. If you go to this location ask for Todd.

Bought snowmobile boots, wore them 3 times and the stitching started to come apart. I understand that you cannot return boots after you have worn them but since it was a faulty product we expected to be able to. Would not buy product from them again. Very disappointed in this company.

Store is ok. Shows are ok maybe a little expensive, but good chose. The service is worst. In the middle of the winter I came with my wife and 2 kids (2 and 4 years old) to buy shows for all family. The lady came to us and said only one person per family. No customers at the store at all during covid. So I stayed outside with 2 kids in cold weather. I recommend to visit other stores like Mark's or any Mall show stores.

A couple of weeks ago I had purchased a very nice pair of winter boots. They seemed a bit tight on one foot but they weren't available in the next larger size. I took them in hopes they would relax with wear. Today I took them back as they were still too tight after a couple of hours wearing them. The employees were wonderful and very understanding. The price was credited back on my credit card with no hassle.

Shout to Canadian Footwear. I ordered shoes online, assuming that they would be delivered to my place as most online orders. I got a phone call once they arrived at the store this morning and was offered the house delivery or pick up. I chose the house delivery and was amazed and pleased that the owner of the company was the person who delivered them. To top off the awesome customer service, I got a thank you card added in my shoebox. Fantastic service!

Very friendly staff very caring towards your feet and what they think is best for you gets comfort based on what your boots or shoes are used for daily.

Poor selection. They also don't carry womens sizes under 7 and if you ask they will huff and puff as if it's you that is the inconvenience. Was looking for womens hikers and they tried to recommend children's SANDALS instead.
