They Denied return of the Product within 90 days:
I purchased a Neft Elite Flip-32 toy Gun, but it was a different product in the box, and They refused to take a return. I went to return the product within 90 days of the return policy. The guy at the return counter was rude and not helpful. I purchased it on Nov 28,2023, and went to return it within 90 days on Jan 15,2024. They also didn't give me any reason.

Terrible security Terrible staff was accused of theft when I openly let the staff search me and they found noting they tried to say I dropped whatever it was I had.lol so insulting I'll never shop there again my kids were with me

Looking for emergency service as my passenger side window had been smashed out overnight by thieves and I had a three hour highway drive ahead of me. Best the auto service manager could provide was to direct me into the store to purchase tape and plastic to do it myself in the parking lot. It was minus 15 with a 30km wind out of the north. Once inside I approached two different sales associates as to where to find a roll of plastic. Neither of them knew what a roll of plastic was or where to find it. Eventually found it myself in the paint section. Both the lack of empathy from the auto service manager and the lack of basic knowledge from the sales associates was very frustrating and disappointing.

Way to screw up a simple valve stem replacement. Cracked my center hub. Manager said he will check cameras but I feel like I'll just get the run around.

Wanted to buy an expensive power tool, the staff, however, avoided me for a solid 15 minutes. I wandered around but couldn't find anyone to unlock the case, so I'll buy it off Amazon.

Helpful staff. The website is great, had up to date information in the whereabouts of an item. Wish I didn't have to check in my backpack at the front, but it's understandable with Winnipeg being known for crime. At least customer service is quick with checking in your bag.

A good day to shop: lots of Xmas stuff but got boots liners for rubbers instead of whole new boots, and found the only place in town that supplies dill pickle popcorn from bad monkey: I got three big bags. Not sure how long CT will supplies this flavour and it took me all the way close to the till to see them. CT should display them more prominently: green and red of dill and ketchup would make a nice Xmas display.

I had left a voice message for the manager 2 weeks ago and they never got back to me. I was not a happy customer. I don't plan on coming back here.
I did contact customer service who put me though to the manager. I've got nothing back

This is the worst Canadian Tire around, I thought I could exchange a broken tool but I was very wrong when the worker says to me I need this job I can't just give it to you I'm trying to be nice as she is being racist and talk in Philippine to coworker and then the 2 of them No sorry SIR you can return it. I not impressed that this is the state of customer service. If you have zero people skills don't talk to people go get help.

Automotive service was not bad at all, however agree with a previous review posted here alluding to being made to feel like you are going to steal something. I had an appointment for a car repair, waited for 45mins or so wandered in with my backpack to look around. Eventually one of the guys in red approached in the sports section and said "Excuse me sir, are you looking for someone? " I said "I'm having my car repaired, is there a problem? " He said "Security told me to tell you to check your bag in customer service. " Interesting.obviously I was being watched, perhaps suspected, the intro line is a classic indicator, I have experienced it before. In retrospect, I paid Canadian Tire Polo Park over $350 for a car repair and to be made to feel like I was a suspect going to steal something. FYI Canadian Tire Polo Park, customers would like to feel delighted by a purchase experience, not insulted. We need a better alternative to this place.

UPDATE 28 Sept 21: so received a reply from Canadian Tire same day this review was posted. Called the number provided and got the automated menu which included triangle rewards, online order inquiries, credit card and gift cards and refund cards.one would think that when a customer feels insulted in an establishment the management would reach out to the customer in a more personal manner and not make the customer just call the trunkline. This experience continues to be undelightful, and makes me as the customer feel that the I am just a number to the corporate money making machine. Unfortunately no option for zero stars, that's what I'd give here.

Bought 4 Winter Tires online for my new Toyota Siena. I made an appointment in person to have the Tires put on. When I arrived for the appointment, I was told there was no appointment and I needed to go and pick up my tires at another counter. Automotive Counter Staff not very helpful, nor seemed to care. He stated that there has been no work done on the Siena. I responded with "Of course not, it's brand new. This is it's first appointment to have the Winter Tires I purchased online put on. " I was not even offered a new appointment.

I proceeded to the Pick-Up counter and asked to have the order refunded. The girl was nice, but stated it would take up to 2 weeks to have my credit card refunded.

It was a complete waste of the afternoon. Driving in from Beausejour in the snow also made it more frustrating.

I am no longer a CT customer.

I was looking for a tire and ended up getting from them. So they installed the tire and wheel alignment I waited for 3 hours just to installed the tire and alignment. On the next day I noticed that my steering wheel is not centered so I went back at the store that day after my work, but they are busy so they scheduled another appointment which is I need to wait 4 days before they can fix it. Waste of time. Still charging me again for the alignment. I need to explain to them what happened and ended up not paying

Terrible customer service. Got my wheel alignment done here and it didn’t change a thing! I tried coming back and talking to them but there’s 10 people waiting for an hour with no service from any of the employees. Nobody even offered any greeting! Worst Canadian tire auto in the city. AVOID AT ALL COST.

Good selection, decently priced tools and home stuff. Sales starts on Thursday and ends on Wednesdays. The aisles are tight tho and it's hard to have 2 carts in 1 aisle.

I am an indigenous person who once worked at this location in the automotive department and experienced discrimination and got fired for suspicious reason, I believe it was due to racism. I have heard many staff members in this department say racist things about my people, and I got treated differently. You Canadian Tire are lucky, I did not take this to HR. I will not remove this review, I am speaking my truth. If you are indigenous as well, I urge you NOT to shop at Canadian Tire Polo Park in the automotive department, better yet boycott this location altogether! I will be posting to social media about my experiences, and might even contact the news. Sorry not sorry. Discrimination is not okay! Not to mention they knowingly employed an abuser here.and were made aware of this guy being an abuser, but they did not care whatsoever.

Always a clean and friendly experience at this Canadian Tire. I ordered online and used their pickup-locker system easily.

(Not sure why Canadian Tire of all places feel like they need a party supply section.weird thing to add in the store.)

Bought a wet suit that was ripped instantly after the first use but the employee said I can’t return it because the receipt said “returns are for unused items” and that “it wouldn’t have been ripped if I hadn’t used it. ” STUPIDEST THING EVER, i obviously bought it to use it. Went to a different branch and they refunded me instantly.

If i have option that i have to give 0 stars i will definitely gives 0 but i don't have options. I want to give 0 stars because i get my car's tires change, oil change, alignment, balancing and many more things which cost me lost of money and i did all from CT because i want to try CT because i thought it will be good but in the last it was worst experience. Before my car was okay not showing anything on my screen, not even a single problem but after all the things done from CT it shows you have the problem of ABS, tire traction and all these i don't know why and i just told them right away. Then they make excuses that mechanic who did your car is not here, you have to come again. Next day i went then they told me you have to make appointment the mechanic is already gone, making lots and lots of excuses. The problem doesn't finishes here. When i ask their employee that what is the problem with that. They are making the excuses that this, that happened to your car you have to fix this that. When i told them that before it was okay then they told me it was not our problem. Then they told me you have to do this that to fix that problem means i have to spend more money to fix that problem. It was their fault that is showing on my car because i have the report diagnostics of car and in that it is clearly said that your car's ABS system is working properly. By this experience i don't think so that i will never return to CT.

The Polo Park store is the worst place to shop. Go to look for a sprinkler, said they had 2. Was told they couldn't find them, supposedly the last time they saw them was March 14th, 2021 and that they never got anymore. I call bs on it all. Manager assumed they were stolen! If I could give a lower rating I would!

Went to buy windshield wipers. Their computer said it would foot my car, but they didn't. Tried another set, same thing. While I couldnt get what I needed, and their computer was wrong on two occasions, the staff was amazing and they returned with no problems.

I was left by a employee who said he was going to return on the correct price of a desk. HE DID NOT RETURN, and another older gentleman who worked there was walking away saying I DON'T WORK IN THIS DEPARTMENT

Two of the three employees I dealt with during my latest trip were impolite and fairly useless. I purchased a section of wire measured by the foot, and when I got home I realized the length is 1.5 feet short which makes what I purchased effectively useless for my application.

I am usually very impressed with Canadian Tires service specially by the staff in auto service department. But, today was the different day I believe! I went to Canadian tire around 10.30 am in the morning to book an appointment for my vehicle and I got it booked for July 18th 2021 at 1 pm. Upon arriving at the store like everyone else I waited in the line for my turn and during my conversation with the staff 2 people came to me who were not uniformed by Canadian tire neither they had a uniform of any security company! One of the guy came to me and he showed me 2 pictures 1 was mine and another one was of someone who was totally different person with a different skin colour, different hairstyle basically nothing was similar! Guy asked me to come to his managers office to talk I was scared, shocked as this never happened to me before in last 10 years I have spent in Canada (I must mentioned guys were not disrespectful, they were normal to me neither they did any swot of misbehaviour with me and I do not consider it a racial incident as all the 3 guys were from different ethnicity!) long story short guys took me in their office and showed me those pictures again and said do you have anything to do with this person? I said nope! I am totally different person so manager was like this person showed an aggress behaviour at the other store and when you entered in the store my system found some similarities between you and him that’s why I pulled you in! Wth! I felt very much insulted as there were other people in the line and in their eyes I could be a criminal or something! Worst part is I am a brown person with a light brown skin and the picture of the gentleman he showed me was from a probably African gentleman I am simply explaining you guys the total difference here! Long story short after having about 1 min conversation I was released from the office! It was intimidating as imagine someone is swot of detaining you and you don’t even know what’s gonna happen in the office! Very disappointed with this experience! Wouldn’t deal with Canadian tire anymore!

One of the most mind numbingly frustrating experiences here trying to price match tires to an online retailer. Their policy clearly states that they will match prices from online retailers. All employees and managers refused. The first manager I talked to approved it and then was told no when I went to get the tires. Unfortunate that the employees and managers don't know the policies of the company they work for. Bought my tires online for much cheaper immediately after leaving the store!

This location is terrible all the staff that i have encountered have all been nothing but rude and ignorant.
You cant leave the store without the door person demanding you to empty your pockets and hand over your bag to look through it even tho it was left at customer service still required a bag check.
This location doesn't accept treaty cards as legitimate identification witch is illegal

Needed a new tire. I called the store (automotive) dept to see what was available. The sales associate was very friendly, told me what was available in the size and price range I wanted. My vehicle was towed there. Shortly afterward I received a call telling me it was ready for pick up. All I had to do was go in and pay. Wonderful service all arranged with one phone call.

Worst experience ever, they diagnosed my car and specifically put it wasn't the wheel bearings on the diagnosis, they said it was my transmission without testing anything and then charged me for it.turns out it was only the wheel bearings and nothing todo with transmission, I want my money back you cost me more money than I should have spent had you have known what you were doing!

I just had a pair of tires replaced at this location.

Upon payment, I was told that I "needed" new front shocks, struts, and an oil change.

I informed the cashier that I had my oil done less than 2 weeks ago. He replied, saying that it must have been that I forgot to reset the indicator in the car. So, I went to the parking lot to check.

The indicator was still showing 94% life, the oil is still clear/full, and there was a sticker on the driver side window, showing that the oil was just changed.

Following this, I went home, and jacked my car up to inspect my front suspension. Lo and behold, the front shocks and struts are completely fine, and not leaking as I was informed they were.

If I didn't have my own background in automotive repair, I very well could have been scammed out of 100's, if not close to $1000 today. I can only imagine how many people they rope in with this garbage on a daily basis.

Ordered online and the whole process was very user friendly. The product was ready for pickup when I showed up and the staff were very helpful.
