Horrible service. If only i can put a negative star. Very scammy behaviour. They dont put effort in getting someone from the house. Would immediately put a note on your door asking you to pick up at their location. Theyre only open u til 5pm and no weekends so your other option is for redelivery which cost $10! But ofcourse if you are not basically waiting at the door. They would slap that note again. The customer service people are rude and would hang up on you. I asked for a supervisor and nobody called back. Just awful!

Horrible customer service, received a delivery attempt notice near my building indoor mailbox but they did not attempt to try this new concept of knocking on my door. Called up “customer service” and was told to pick up at their smart location which was an oxymoron, took forever to find this hidden gem. Once we finally arrived we were dealt with by a person with 0 personality and customer service skills. Next time I’ll just let the package get returned, although there will not be a next time if I can help it. Avoid at all costs.

Apparently they attempted to deliver my package today. I have been home and haven't heard anyone come to the door? Just received a text message saying that they attempted delivery and no one was there to sign for it. Now I have to either pay an additional fee for another attempt at delivery or they will drop it at a "nearby location" for pickup. There also appears to be no way to change the mandatory signature option, or get a hold of them by phone. Might just return the package altogether bc it's not worth the hassle.

I order THOUSANDS of packages each year and this was the first and definitely the LAST time I ever use CANPAR again. I ordered a package to my apartment, the delivery driver made it as far as my apartment lobby and then he didn’t bother to: call my cell listed on the file, come to my actual apartment listed on the file and knock on the door, ect.
I called customer service to make sure they actually deliver the package correctly; after an hour and a half of talking to automated messages, getting transferred from department to department and getting attitude from all the staff for even calling about my package I was told “you only get 1 ‘FREE’ delivery attempt” so they said they would gladly take my credit card information and I could PAY for them to deliver the package I ALREADY PAID FOR, I declined.
They told me I could pick up the package the next day at one of their “SMART locations” and this location is 35 minutes outside the city so I had an hour and a half of driving to pick up the package MYSELF.
WORST SHIPPING COMPANY EVER! Here are some BETTER suggestions for shipping options;

Fed EX, UniUni, UPS, the crackhead that lives on your street, your local drug dealer, the ice cream man

Any of these options will work out significantly better for you, believe me

They had absolutely no problem taking our money and delivering our stuff to "near" the customers address but refused to actually deliver it saying it wasn't in their service area. Held on to the package for 5 days before even telling us. I hope they made enough off of us because they're never getting one cent more from our business ever again.

The driver made 0 attempt to deliver the package. I stayed home from work for two days to meet them and they didn’t so much as knock.
I drove 30 minutes to the middle of no where to pick up the package at noon on a week day (because for some horrible reason they’re only open 12-6 M-F) and there’s no one here. Doors are locked. It’s 12: 17pm. The person here said the guy who does the packages isn’t here and they don’t know when he will be here.
I have a subscription service I’ll be cancelling as they use Can Par and this is the worst delivery service I’ve ever experienced in 30 years of being alive.

The most terrible service that I ever have. Nobody will aware you that you need to wait for delivery. And if you missed the delivery, because anyone didn’t let you know about it, you need to pay for another delivery. Hard to reach manager on live chat or buy the phone. And also manager said “I don’t have time to continue the conversation” and hang up the phone. Very nice.

Awful shipping company. If you miss a delivery, they force you to pick it up at their location at the furthest, most inconvenient area of the city. They also have terrible business hours making it very difficult to pick up your package as someone with a job. In addition, they do not answer the phone and also clearly don't care much about actually getting packages delivered since they don't even try to buzz into the building, they just stick a notice on the door.

Easily the worst courier service - they put the notice of missed delivery outside my apartment gate (not on my door) - no calls messages or emails - no form of contact. The live chat is all bots and the service line made me wait 30 minutes for a rude lady on the other end. I ended up paying about 130 more to get my parcel by going to their warehouse in Winnipeg to pick it up.

Work hrs starr at noon so hope u dont lose ur pacel, plus driver didnt even make attempt to deliver to house instead delivered twice to pick up point cause i had 2 parcels and it took 10 days total to deliver 2 parcels but not a good courier service to use! So beware

Don't even bother! Seriously the worst! I had a package paid for with the shipping label on it. Brought it to one of their drop of sites listed on their website and was refused because they said they only take small packages. Called another location listed on their website and was told they were no longer a drop of location (and the way they said it, it sounded like they hadn't been for a long time). Tried calling canpar to see where the hell to take this package and can't get though to anyone. Even if they are the cheapest option, go with another company.

Canpar left my parcel at a post office 30 minutes from my town causing an hour round trip for pickup. There was no communication from them at all, just a call from my neighboring Town's post office, that canpar left a parcel with them.

Left instructions with the sender & later Canpar to phone me when they arrived with my parcel as I am not connected to the front intercom.

They left a note saying they missed me. Upon calling, I was informed that it was up to the driver's discretion to phone me. Note said they'll try again the next day.

I called Canpar and, after maybe 30 minutes of waiting, instructed the person to please have the driver call me. Result: driver decided not to even try and left the parcel at the station.

I used to be a shipper/receiver. There were reasons why we didn't go with Canpar unless we had to. Looks like nothing much has changed.

Worst parcel delivery company I've ever had the displeasure of dealing with. Ridiculously long wait times for customer service representatives, inaccurate delivery times and unhelpful customer service. I will not be using this service ever again unless I have no other option. 0/5 stars. Definitely do not recommend.

I would love to go on and on but I think that's expected so.
Just don't ever use Canpar for anything! Tell your family, friends, post it on social media, tell your your suppliers or retailers that you don't want anything shipped via Canpar and to make a note on your customer profile. Save yourself, your sanity and your shipment. Please!

AVOID THESE GUYS! There are reliable alternatives! Avoid the run around, wasted time and in my case, a liar of a driver. Hours lost, not their concern.must be normal!

Poor customer service, the only menu option to speak with a representative is '0', which is not listed as an option.after being on hold for an hour I got through to a representative, and didn't get any answers in regards to when my package is estimated to be delivered.

Ordered a Canadian product from Ontario and it was almost immediately shipped. Recieved it 1.5 days later. Absolutely great service. I would use this company for deliveries over other companies any day.
