I came here with a group of 7 for a bachelor party dinner. It was a busy day and they could not fit us inside, so the owner Greg asked us if we would be comfortable on the patio. The service he provided us was the best service I have ever received, we all were blown away. The food and drinks were excellent and came relatively quickly, and he checked on us frequently. He even pulled out a heater so we wouldn’t get cold. Not one of us had any complaints and we all will be back. Highly recommend this place.

Great food and service. They fixed an order problem, cheerfully, that may have been my fault. Excellent service. Pasta with short ribs was so good.

Great experience. The staff all worked really smoothly together I noticed. Everybody just helped where it was needed. The drinks were really amazing. Im pretty picky about my drinks by the Moscow Mule was perfect both times. My wifes Sangria was really good to. We got the shrimp and the that also was amazing! The sauce was the perfect combo.for them. We both got the Capital Burger. The chef clearly has perfected their craft here and the burger was possibly the best I've ever had. The deserts (the flowerless chocolate cake and lemon tart) were also top level kitchen art in both presentation and taste. Will definitely come back.

Our first time dining here tonight and the meal was fantastic, as well as the service. We had a couple drinks each, the popcorn shrimp, the capital burger and a couple desserts. Everything was top notch, hot and delicious. Can't wait to go back!

Darling patio. Good wait staff. Split the salmon salad, and pickerel with gnocchi. Both were delicious. Definitely recommend.

One of my favorites. Only place I eat fish. Not a fan of fish but love the way they prepare it. Amazing food and service. Always a great time.

Recently had an extraordinary dinner at this fine restaurant. The service was exceptional and they went out of their way to make this experience fantastic. It was a 50th birthday for a great friend. We had such an amazing time together, the atmosphere was awesome. Loved it!

Came here with my wife and a couple friends and just had to say they have excellent food and service. They also have Trans Canada brewery blueberry beer. Mmmmmm.

Had their signature burger, Capital burger with home-style fries and a ice cold Little Brown Jug draft for happy hour, it was excellent! I wasn't expected much, but it was very tasty and filling. Kind of a non-descipt strip mall building on the outside, but cozy lounge/restaurant inside. Has a outdoor patio, but it's winter and it was stacked with snow.

Had the Rigatoni, it was simple but very good! Patio looked really nice, will have to try it out come summer when it's not covered in snow. Little pricey but nice place and friendly staff

Everything we ordered was awesome! Fish and chips, steam and schnitzel. Everything crispy and just great flavours. Definitely recommend it.

Very good food. My dish was a bit small but everyone else at the table had quite a bit more. Excellent service as well.

Consistent, well prepared food. Their popcorn shrimp and ahi tuna roll are two appetizer favourites for us. They have an especially adept hand in preparing fish and seafood - and while limited on the menu (ahi tuna nicoise salad, fish & chips, pickeral and organic salmon - each is well prepared and delicious. Try to catch their Spring- run Halibut specials for something extraordinary. That being said, we've also had their meat (pork schnitzel, NY steak and frites, braised short ribs, crisp skinned roast chicken) dishes and all are solid. Decent wine list, and great cocktails - Moscow Mule is a summertime favourite made with a nice spicy ginger beer. Atmosphere is casual with a nice rotation of different artists' artwork adorning the walls. Service is friendly, attentive and prompt. This really is a gem of a neighbourhood restaurant, and welcome addition to the Winnipeg dining scene - highly recommended!

Quick place to eat next to the zoo. Clean and modern elegant design, and the food is quite good too. Angus burger with carmelized onions and mushroom. Yum.

The food used to be pretty wonderful here but our last two visits were disappointing. Portion sizes were small. Service was slow and our waitress was less than attentive.

Great food, cozy atmosphere. Well decorated gallery walls that change regularly. I go for the sticky toffee pudding and appetizers, but I'm not disappointed.

Food was amazing. Waitress was so friendly. Atmosphere was cool and inviting. My aunt took me here for lunch when I was visiting and I would definitely recommend this place. The housemade coleslaw was out of this world omg.

Food, drinks and service were great. Table by the back door was cold from a draft, only negative I could possibly think of.

This was our second visit. The salmon was outstanding. I had it both times. But the pulled pork sandwich was very disappointing. The texture was just mushy. Not pleasant at all. The coleslaw was cabbage with vinegar, their description. No offer to bring something else. Their solution was to charge us 50% for a meal not eaten. We won't return.

Delicious food. Had the chicken brie sandwich and it did not disappoint. Very busy so not the fastest service but well worth the wait. Would definitely recommend.

We had our Christmas dinner at Capital Grill Roblin last night for 14 people. It was perfect! Service was outstanding! Food was amazing! Thanks to entire staff. We would highly recommend!

I have now had a lunch and a dinner at the Capital Bar and Grill in Charelswood. The food is excellent, the service attentive and friendly. The Short rib dinner was plentiful and delicious. The flourless chocolate cake was wonderful. My wife and our guest both enjoyed their meals as well.

Only been once but with people who raved and come regularly. Wasnt dissapointed! Very good food and service

I have been twice now to this great little cozy restaurant. I have not been disappointed. Good choices on their menu. Food has been good both times. Friendly staff. Will come back again. Close to Assiniboine park.

Love Capital Grill, great service and tasty dishes from top to bottom. The Popcorn Shrimp is an amazing appetizer that melts in your mouth and the pickerel dish is my current favourite and go to dish. Give them a try as you won’t be disappointed!
