I'll never go here again. No rental vehicles when promised, extra costs, Not to mention my undershield was hanging by 1 clip on my ride home - refused to re-start my electrical for my mirrior sensors. Took a year just for my car manual to be ordered and even it was used. Ugh. The list goes on -

My fiancé’s car was in a bad front end accident, this company had it for 11 months and had to fight to get it out of their shop, often for weeks the car wasn’t even moved yet they were “working on it”. He had many custom parts he bought out of his own pocket and MPI was supposed to reimburse him for the difference in money, they paid the shop, who claims they never got the money. (Mpi’s mistake to give them the money and not him directly) Carstar KEPT the money that he was supposed to receive but after going down to talk to someone in person they told us they did not get paid. Unfortunately the day we went in person was the first day of the MPI strike so they “couldn’t talk to anyone at MPI” ; this was back in September. The manager insisted she would keep us updated which she hasn’t, late November we reached out again, ofcourse no response. Mpi has closed the case as the business was paid. This has to be the worst communication we’ve ever dealt with. We are currently waiting to speak to a MPI supervisor to get to the bottom of how we can get our money OR our stock parts from this place. If I could give a 0 star. I would. Stay clear if you don’t want to get ripped off

I had a ball joint replaced after hitting a pothole. 1 year later I start hearing clunking noise from front end so bring it to the dealer to diagnose. Was told it was loose and needed to be replaced at a cost of $417.00. Was also told it was a poor quality part. They sent me a video and it was very evident that it was loose. He wiggled it with his hand. Car star 1310 St James said they couldn't help me and after market parts only have 1 year warranty. Why would they cheap out on such a critical part? This was an mpi claim as well. Toyota dealership just replaced ball joint

My car was broken into and vandalized and Courtney and the rest of the staff took care of my car and myself quickly and in a timely manner. 10/10 would recommend anyone to come here for your collision/damage repairs.

I would give zero to them if possible. Very poor service they provide.

First, I have to wait for 3 months after getting Mpi claim approved as they told me that it will take time to get parts delivered.

Finally, after waiting for 3 months, I dropped off my car and they told me at that time, it will take only two days. Then, next day I got a call from them and they said it will take one week. They started making excuses every time when I called them. They took 25 days to repair just a small damage of my car.

They never care about their customers and never care about their time. Even, when I went there to pick up my car, they behave very rudely with me.

I would not recommend anyone to give your car to them for repairing. They will just waste your time by making different excuses everyday.

They fixed the front end of my car less than a month after a animal accident! It was all great until we suddenly noticed that the paint they used was not the exact paint of the whole car (maybe two coats of paint short). Overall, great customer experience, just the paint job was not on point.

Had issue with car had claim approved from mpi. I had damage to bumper headlight and air bag light was on. On first day of inspection of car i told them regading these issue they told me they will fix it. Waited for 2-3 months for parts. Parts they use were not genuine had issue with headlight day after repair it stopped working. And they never fixed airbag on day of pickup when told regarding that they cleared code for airbag while didnt fixed and the air bag light came back on next day as well. It was so unprofessional for them to tell me that it was fixed while they just got rid of code and didnt fixed. And again for replacement headlights i waited for more than month and when asked for airbag light they told me its not covered under mpi as my claim was closed and than started telling me stories like might be the airbag light didnt came on because of collision while the light was started after collision and for all these issue i needed to visit them 3-5 time took day off from work and all that. I will never recommend this place to any one ever
