Centre of Canada Park

Great park to stop by, take a picture, and stretch your legs. There are a couple of picnic tables, a little library, temporary / seasonal washroom. It’s great to visit the longitudinal centre of Canada.

Pretty self explanatory roadside stop you would expect. You can see the big sign off the highway so it makes it easy to know when to pullover.

This point is situated at Winnipeg-Canora Highway This is geographically central point Canada.

It was fun to know that our province is the true center of Canada. My wife sent pictures to a friend in Belgium, and her reply was that is cool.

This is a great stop along the trans Canada highway. Good parking and a nice walkway. They have washrooms but they take them away during the winter (don’t know why) … there are no signs letting you know about the turnoff. You might see it as you are passing and have to turn around to get back.

Feel that you are in all center of canada breathtaking place, should visit if you are coming in winnipeg.

It is a very emblematic place and with great relevance in Canada for being the longitudinal center of the country. I am from Mexico and I traveled many kilometers on my motorcycle just to get to this place because I decided to visit the 3 Centers of the countries that make up North America in the same ride, starting in Rugby, ND, which is the Geographic Center of North America, to go to this place, then to the Geographic Center of the United States and finish at the Geographic Center of Mexico in less than 3 days practicing endurance motorcycling. It was a great adventure!

It's a landmark you definitely cannot miss! Take the family there for pictures in the center of our beautiful Kingdom

I think it's worthwhile for a quick photo op just to say you've been here. Road access to the park is past a highway sign that also notes the longitudinal centre, but this sign is fancier. There are also two giant Adirondack chairs, a little free library, and portapotties. Portapotties were pretty clean. Calling it a park might be a stretch.

It’s a nice place but it could be better. Not much facilities besides a temporary washroom and a shelter.

Just drop by anytime take some pictures, rest a bit and go, good location, right in the highway

Just off the transcanada 1, the notical centre of Canada. Approximately 15 parking spaces. Outfitted with 2 benches, portaloos and obviously the sign. Take a marker and become a piece of history on the smaller board.

A great stopover from a long road trip. You can go for a walk or have a picnic. There is also clean toilet.

What a great photo op for those who travel across the country. Just wish it was marked better so you didn't miss it.

It's nice that there is a place like this, it's worth going there and taking a picture. Other than that, nothing else

I do not recommend. Very irresponsible people who carelessly treat people. The previous owners were better. And these ignore their landlords, and when the contract ends. Then comes to beg to return the deposit. These lords ignore messages from people

After years of driving past this it happened that my newborn was losing his mind as we were driving past so we pulled over for my wife to breastfeed him. Great parking lot for it. Didn't check out the sights but it seemed like there was a graffiti wall and big chair to sit in.
