They sell Captian Morgan Mango Mai Tais, and the cashier was extremely funny, love that for her.
And all the beer is cold, also normally I feel uncomfortable showing my ID because of my dead name being on my ID, but I presented it without her even asking. I think that speaks volumes for how this business is.

Astounding selection of beer and coolers. I always make sure to stop by and stock up when I am in the neighborhood.

I like this place, close to my house, has the beer and chippies, the walk-in cooler is great in the summertime. The employees humour my sarcastic banter at the checkout and they're always super fast.

This may sound petty and maybe it's not the fault of anyone but I scored 4 instead of 5 because of the tip function on the checkout terminal.

I don't tip because the transaction lasts about 30 seconds but it's just.is it necessary? Do the employees secretly judge me for not tipping? Where do the tips go? Is there a tip pool?

I think about it a lot. Do these employees rely on those tips? Sounds like a lot of questions that a simple tip function couldn't possibly answer.

Honestly have the best staff, any managers seeing this consider giving them a raise, always very polite and helpful.store location is good and options are great as well.

Rick and his team are outstanding - I live overseas and wanted beers delivered for my brothers birthday. Although his postal code was out of their delivery jurisdiction, he went out of his way and organized the delivery anyhow. Terrible service. Staff makes you feel uncomfortable. It just happened again! This has been about 4 times now that I was greeted with terrible service and staff that seems very ignorant and narcasistic. If you wanna be treated like a number.please go here.

Gigantic selection of craft and standard beer. Many other raddlers, seltzers and mixed canned drinks avalible as well. The nice part is the huge walk in fridge and other cool shelves that keep almost their entire inventory cold. Being open as late as they are is also great ad well.

I have never been there but I phoned on three different occasions asking if certain types of beer in stock. Every person I’ve spoken to has been very rude and short on the phone which makes me never want to put my foot in that store. I for one will never buy a single beer here because of the rude way I’ve been spoken to every time I’ve called.

An employee tried saying a passport isn’t a valid form of ID and pointed out this sign to me. Which clearly lists passports, along with drivers licenses and enhanced Indian status cards as being an accepted form of identification. It also lists other forms of acceptable ID at the bottom, that require a secondary piece of ID. I’ve been a customer at this store for years. Hardly ever do I get asked for ID here. But when I do, I provide it. I will not return here as their untrained staff member who was having a power trip, cannot read a very basic sign that he is getting customers to read. And is enforcing incorrect procedures. Bare in mind if you have a passport or Enhanced Indian status card, they will not accept it unless you provide a second piece. But boot on over to any other beer store or LC and they will accept it with no second piece, or hassle.

Very good location in charleswood.lot of parking spots available.huge variety is available. I love the drive thru concept too.it is very convenient. They have dedicated stalls and door available for recycling. Very convenient. I like this store over other beer vendors coz of these things. Customer service is not bad.

I'm awfully disappointed - I recently purchased a can of Guinness which is expired by 4 months. I expected more from this local vendor.

They were great! Messaged them late yesterday evening to see if they had a particular beer, minutes later I received a reply and today got the beer I wanted. Great service and a huge selection!

I'm not a drinker, but once a year or so I'll buy a bottle of Absinthe or some type of light beer with fruity notes. Hey, that's what I prefer to drink, when I do drink. Last month I purchased extra beer for my wedding here and then returned the sealed cases it shortly after. After reviewing my credit card statement I noticed two things were wrong. First, I noticed that we were charged two separate transactions (twice the cost) and refunded one transaction. I had no idea that this happened at the time because the cashier didnt tell us about this or provide a receipt which turned out to be a problem later. Second, they did not process my refund. When we complained they reassured us that they would go through all the transactions and the video surveillance but they did not return our calls. We stopped in and spoke with the owner who stated that only one transaction and one refund had been processed. I tried to show him my credit card statement to prove otherwise and he refused to look at it and stated that this was a credit card issue. I called Visa and they stated that this was VERY suspicious and stated that they would dispute the transaction and they would be willing to call the case fraud. Unfortunately, there was issues with their system and they were unable to invest more time on the case. Visa refunded me but they STRONGLY SUGGESTED WE DON'T PURCHASE FROM THEM ANYMORE DUE TO THESE SUSPICIOUS TRANSACTIONS. They also suggested we write this review to prevent them from doing this to others. An owner who cares about a customer being charged for nothing would at least help problem solve and look at the credit card statement.

This the best beer market I've ever been to. The staff is knowledgeable and helped me learn about craft beers, as I am just learning about it. Rick is beyond informative and helps me every visit. I understand that the debit machines ask for a tip, however, it was explained to me how to bypass that option (however I did not as the guest experience was enough to warrant a tip). I'll 100% stick to the beer market for further purchases. One of the workers is super cute.

Owner Rick tried to rip my wife and I off for three 24’s. Picked them up as emergency backup for our wedding, returned them three days later. Statement showed we were charged twice, only returned once. Rick claimed he would look into it, never got back to us, and when we went in to talk to him he brushed us off and told us it was a visa issue. Visa assured us it was the Beer Markets issue, but regardless it would have gone a long way if he had just sat us down and gone through everything with us. Will not be giving him our business again.

They dont take visa gift cards. Not too sure why they dont trust their workers with the merchant code. Wasted my time there a few times before and then have to drive across the river. Also some great staff but some very incomompetant staff members. Not hard to ring up a couple of beers. Always get my order wrong in the drive through and have even been charged twice the amount for my beers (he scanned it twice) also sense that they are not happy if i dont leave a tip. Other than that good selection but forsure needs some improvement

I love that the great selection of local and other weird beers is available in the area. Gonna try the growler bar next time.

This place is great because they have very good customer service, and a very decent variety of beer. They offer all the local craft beer choices, too. Their hours are great, and you can even fill your growler here.
