Got a haircut the other day and many people pointed out to me the next day that the hair is not even on the back and sides. Even the fade is not done well and evenly. The front part of the hair is also not lined up properly. Overall disappointed with the cut

When I'm sitting in Sarah Jane's chair I feel like I'm visiting my Auntie! She's fun and friendy and always offers me a tea. Her hair cuts and but especially her hair color is amazing. Thank you Sarah Jane!

Clean, professional and polite. Ashley was an amazing stylist and made me feel as if we knew each other for years.

Bree at the outlet at chatters gave me the worst trim I’ve had in 40 years. The chair wasn’t facing the mirror so I couldn’t see what she was doing. She asked me if I wanted it straight or curly after. I said straight. She blow dried it and used a round brush for so long. Going over the same piece of hair like 35 times. I finally asked her to just blow dry it and use a straightener. She blow dried it and then said she was done. That’s when I saw how choppy and uneven it was. She got defensive saying she did what I wanted. She then admitted it needed to be fixed. She said she wasn’t comfortable fixing it because of me being upset. I also was not comfortable with her touching my hair with scissors again. Next available person to fix it was an hour wait. I ended up leaving. I’ll book somewhere else next week to fix it. If you can’t perform a simple trim you really shouldn’t be a hairdresser.

Only visited the store. They what I was looking for and even better it was on sale! Store was clean and staff is friendly.

I would give them 0 stars, i went for roots retouch spent 100 buks and the hair are still gray. I phoned them back to fix it but instead being sorry they were rude.

Very rude staff! I had a consultation with the blond elderly lady. I asked her where I could keep my purse and my jacket.she told me you can put them on the floor. I was shocked honestly so I didn't listen to her, I placed them in the table next to the hairdryer. The consultation didn't go well either, she was sarcastic all the time. Anyways is this a way to deal with customers who are bringing $$ to you? Luckily I did go to a better salon who took care of me and made my experience so pleasant with awesome hair result. Folks keep your money away from this scam, you deserve better!

I will not recommend this chatters at kenaston location
Have specifically organised my consultation before going for balayage, have asked the salon manager and checked i need my hair texture to be smooth and i need hair colour. My preference is smooth hair, and she suggested go for balayage and your hairs will be smooth automatically for few months.

Within a week my hairs were pathetic, even more dry than normal hair, frizzy and not even close to silky smooth

Worst experience, receptionist was rude and hairstylist didn’t do a good job, don’t go to this location go to polo park instead. They overcharged as well for hairstyling

I went in to get a cut, wash and style and out of all the places I have been to in Winnipeg, Hannah has done the best job. She pays really close attention to detail and is a perfectionist. My hair feels and look exactly how I wanted it to, I will definitely be back to see her!:)

Very poor service, no reply from customer service when I shared my experience via phone and via email to head office. Please be beside your kids when they are cutting their hair, even they will ask you to take a seat in lobby.

I came in with red hair left with orange and I asked for a blonde color and was charged over $260 dollars to leave looking the exact same way I came in I’m very sad and disappointed

The staff are exceptionally polite, professional, and friendly. My stylist exceeded my expectations in colouring my hair. This was my first visit here and will most definitely recommend and visit in the future!

Chatters is an amazing salon. My stylist Kim and all the other staff there are extremely friendly and very professional. I am highly satisfied with the service and would certainly recommend this salon. My first experience was fantastic. Thank you guys

I felt very taken advantage today and the manager used covid as an excuse. I called for curb side pickup. Ordered my hairspray that I have been getting for the last 4 years. I reminded them that there was a note on my account that they always price match from a salon outside of Wpg. The girl said they can’t price match bc they can’t call the other salon to check since covid shut downs. I told her that the last 4 years sometimes they call and sometimes they just do it since there’s a note. The last few times they hadn’t called. She puts me on hold and the manager picks up and starts rambling about their policy before I can say a word. I let her know that half the time they do it without even calling. She didn’t care and kept saying bc of covid. I told her how I felt taken advantage of and she didn’t care. I only go here bc it’s convenient. On a normal day when I go in, their attitude completely changes when I say that I can get my stuff cheaper elsewhere and ask them to price match. I can tell they’re annoyed at me.

Over priced, no hair extension products. However, their is a hair salon located in the building.

I find the staff at all charters salon, very helpful & knowledgeable. Also I love their return policy which gives you up to 15 days to return the used product as long as it's 2/3
Full. Can't get better than that!

Meghan has been cutting both my sons and my hair for years and is by far the best cut I have received. She is great with my 12 year old as well.

My stylist Kim was always very accommodating. She’s an expert at her craft and tries very well to work with my expectations. Keep it up Kim!
