I've been going and getting my haircut by Michelle, honestly she just never lets me down. Not only does she know how to do an amazing job with the fades, but she is really good at cutting my hair and teaching me things about it that I did not know myself, if you are a guy and want to get your curly hair cut properly so that you do not have to worry about it growing out awkwardly, this is the place for you!

My mom also really approves of the haircuts Michelle gives me!

I really enjoy coming to visit with Joanna. She immediately put me at ease. I’ve had so many bad experiences that I was nervous to trust someone again, but I’m glad I did. She took the time to explain a lot of things about my hair. The products that’s best for my hair type. But the best part about my experience with Joanna is she LISTENED to my every worry and worked with what I was comfortable with. She was so kind to me also. I am so happy I found her!

My last hair cut was some time ago, but now that I found a different salon, it just confirmed for me that some stylists at Coco really don't understand curly hair. My cut was terrible, huge step like layers which left my fine hair look stringy. Also when the hair was styled, I left looking like edward scissorhands, and greased to no avail. I went back to the stylist after my hair was washed, and she said the layers were fine and that I would have to cut about 5 more inches off to have my hair evened out. Sad experience, it took me a good year to grow enough out to cut the horrible layers out.

I'm certain there are others who are absolutely phenomenal as I have found elsewhere. Just an unfortunate experience with the one stylist.

I have always had trouble getting my hair cut and haven't been to a hairdressers in years and have feared hairdressers, Sylvie is amazing at her job, and she gave me a haircut that is what I have always dreamed I'd leave with whenever nervously testing out a salon. She really knows her stuff about curly hair for all texture types! The products which are the stores brand are AMAZING curly hair products the best I have tried yet on my curly hair journey.

First curly cut ever with Arabella. She took such care in the cut to make sure it was perfect. She explained how she was styling it, making sure to style the way I prefer, and why she was doing what she was doing. Best haircut experience I’ve been had, not only the haircut itself but the overall experience and how comfortable I felt. Will definitely be going back.

Loved my hair cut and the instruction for curl care. Also, their products are made on site and for our climate. They actually work great for my hair. The staff are helpful and friendly. Great environment.

My wife Evelyn Erickson and I got married on May 20/23. She got her mid back curly/wavy hair done in an updo at Coco’s. It was mostly put up with side tendrils and a special little braid behind her right ear which she tied with long white leather lace. It exceeded my expectations when I saw her walking down the isle for the ceremony. Her hair completed her look. Thank you!

Kimberly cut my hair this weekend and it’s been too long waiting for a cut like this. I finally like my hair and it’s so flattering with my face shape. I feel beautiful and confident and she taught me how to style it. Love it. Will be going back to see Kimberly for life.

I'm new to the Curly World so I had a million questions. Bruna answered them all in ways to make it easy to understand and remember. "hair is like Winnipeg streets. Protein is the filler for the potholes" LOL. She took the time to explain every step in the care and styling of Curly hair. My hair has never had so much life and bounce. I'm thrilled with my results.
The salon is open, airy, comfortable and fresh. The people clearly LOVE working there. It felt like a group of friends gathered instead of just a place to work.
I highly recommend Cocos.

I have very curly hair and I never got a haircut because no one knew how to style it properly but Chante cut my hair and did layers and I absolutely love it! She did such a wonderful job working with my hair and she was super friendly! My new favourite salon!

Marlee! Marlee! Marlee! I love this place and had been going here for about two years now. Marlee gave me my first curly cut I’ve ever had in life and to this day I keep seeing her and purchasing hair care products from Utility Beauty (sister-brand it Coco’s Hair). I have been seeing Joanna for 2 years now. I came to her after I had an awful colouring experience at another “curly” salon. My hair was a mess! Not only did she fix my color, but she gave me the best haircut I’d ever had.
Every time I see her, I leave the salon feeling more and more beautiful. I get compliments on my hair everywhere I go. She is the absolute best! I only wish I would’ve met her sooner lol!

I love this salon. I have never seen the same hair stylist more than twice in my entire life and now I will only see Michelle. Once I decided to embrace my natural curls I became very aware of the need for someone who would take the time needed to work with my texture. It is honestly such a nice respite from my busy life to sit down and have her pamper me. The shop itself is lovely and they are super accommodating. I have sent several people here on recommendation and everyone of them has told me how happy they were with the services. The fact that they were devacurl certified made me check them out but the lovely staff and space made me stay.

I’m so happy I found Michelle. She takes her time and doesn’t make me feel like she’s being rushed. She listened to me and did what I asked. My curls never looked better! Great girl to see!

Very good quality service by all means. My hair were worn out. I have got wonderful haircut, advices how to maintain my hair and had a nice chat. Also a hot coffee that most mothers need:).

I followed my stylist, Filomena to this new Salon. Fil is one of the best in business with more than two decades of experience. I would have a hard time trusting anyone else! Very nice place. The owner seems conscious and caring of the health of her customers. And I like that they do refills instead of countless bottles ending up who knows where.

I have never left a salon happy with the way I look with my curls until today. The past times I always felt like going home and restyling because I didnt like what had been done.

Kim gave me an amazing cut and educated me on product and styling. I love the shaped and not feeling cutting remorse.

Loved the atmosphere of the salon, the staff was friendly and attentive. Very comfortable visit and excited to finally find a stylist that knows curly hair.

My first time at Cocos today. Transformed my hair from a fuzzy, two-toned haystack into a headfull of lush bouncy curls. If you have natural curls, and have never had a cut custom tailored to your locks, you need to get to Cocos. Today I felt like a unicorn who found her herd. Never in my life have I seen so many ladies with curly locks all in one place. Thank you for the afternoon of pampering & restoration. Looking forward to our next appointment.

Inconsistency between hair cuts. Probably won't go back. Friendly service though. Must not a good fit for me.
