My card would not work in the debit machine. I tried another and then another. It was looking like I would have to go to the ATM which would be a huge inconvenience when the owner came to help. She comped our coffees and apologized for the machine. What a great place. This is my coffee shop from now on!

Great place with great food and great vibes! The cafe has a welcoming and cozy atmosphere. The coffees, muffins and cakes are great. The staff are accommodating of special requests. Sandwiches and wraps are also tasty and fresh.

After waiting for x amount of minutes, the best thing the lady could say was “Are you waiting in something? ”

Fantastic cafe. Food and bakery items are excellent and I've really enjoyed their iced coffees. Highly recommended if you're in the area.

Second time attending, really bad customer service! Had the cashier roll their eyes when I asked where to stand for my order, they don't acknowledge you when you say thank you either. Drink took a while to make and just an overall bad experience. Don't plan on returning unfortunately.

Coffee was excellent. Atmosphere was warm, quiet, and welcoming but still modern and classy. Docked a star on the service as the post sale process was confusing and took a little longer than average. Otherwise a wonderful place to have coffee with a friend or two as well as lay out and study for a couple of hours.

The food and drinks are decent, albeit a bit overpriced for what you get. My main issue is the manager - he is truly terrible, and obviously has never had any customer service training, or worked in an industry previously that involved customer service.

I had ordered an Asiago steak bagel, and an order came up with an Asiago bagel, I mistakenly thought that was mine and went to pick it up, and the manager yelled "HEY THATS NOT YOURS! " I looked at him in disbelief that he would talk to a customer in that manner, and than he yelled the same thing a second time. He has no place working in this kind of business. Awful experience.

Coffee has been cold last two times I was there. They put bacon on my grilled cheese sandwich when I had made it very clear I did not want bacon on it; and their cheese cake (at $9 a small slice). Is not good. No flavour. Their prices are quite high for poor quality products and service. It took 15 minutes for them to make a grilled cheese sandwich. I will never go back.

This is my favourite go-to place for studies, hangouts, or some peaceful alone time. The interior is really nice and it has got such a cozy atmosphere. However, like one of the other reviewers mentioned, the staff do not seem as welcoming or willing. They wouldn’t even bother responding when customers thank them. They give you your order and are off to their business just as quick, not a word. I no longer see them sanitizing or cleaning the tables either. I think in a cafe like this they should make it a routine to sanitize every table once it becomes free. That aside, love the place otherwise. It would have been nice if they were open longer for dine-in though. They close at 8 & even earlier on Sunday, which leaves us with very short time to go & enjoy after finishing work or other stuffs

Overall I enjoy this coffee shop. Sometimes it takes a while to get your order because I don't think all the staff have quite enough training (seems as though those who do have to compensate for those who don't). So don't go unless you have some time to wait. (I am hoping that once this newer franchise gets more experience they will be comparable with other locations such as in Brandon and Steinbach.)
Their food is pricey, but good tasting. I find that compared to Steinbach, they put a noticable amount of less meat on their sandwiches (which is a problem when you spend $12 on a sandwich, in my opinion) and their to-go presentation/packaging isn't as good as Steinbach. I have shared both these pieces of feedback with this location and months later there is still no change.
I also find with this location, they sometimes do their own thing, away from what other stores do, such as still selling Christmas drinks and merchandise in July. I wish they would align themselves with other franchise locations.
One thing I cannot get enough of at Coffee Culture is their butter chicken soup! It is to die for! Their london fog drinks and pistachio muffins are also so good!
Will I keep going to this shop? Sure! But it isn't my first choice, whereas when I am in Brandon, that Coffee Culture is always my go-to coffee shop.
Like I said, I hope the management/owner of this location continues to learn and grow with time, to improve their experience, foods and presentation for its guests.

Great varieties of desserts, sandwiches and all day breakfast. Super green smoothie is my fave. Espresso is delicious. People are super friendly!

Really robotic and cold customer service. Its the same guy everytime. Not very welcoming, no smile, short with words. Not coming back.

Had cappuccino which was pretty good.
For breakfast we got Piri Piri Chicken wrap and Turkey avocado sandwich. Would rate it 6/10
But the Godiva Double Chocolate Cake was yummy 8/10
It’s a pretty decent place just to chill and have some coffee.

It was a cozy place for coffee with a friend. Enjoyed lingering over a hazelnut Cafe latte. Delicious!

Nice vibe. I got a vanilla Latte and was tempted by their tasty looking treats to go along with it. They have cheesecake factory cheesecake if you're into that.

The environment and the vibe of this place was very negative. The manager was extremely rude and didn't understand the core business ethics, mainly that there is a certain decency to talk to the customers.
The coffee tasted bad and the pistachio muffin was not fresh and tasted very bad.
Very disappointed at such pathetic and rude customer service.

Great spot to study when you’re a university student or any student in general! Free wifi, and outlets at most of the seats! Really great environment and a wide variety of food items!

They have horrible customer service, i was sitting a table studying with a friend and another group of friends of mine were sitting at another table. When the other group left we went to sit there and a guy with a turban came up to us and said we are not allowed to switch tables. We were waiting for the other table to become free so we could study at the booth. He was extremly rude about and when we approached him to ask why he did not provide any rational reason. Anywyas we will not be going there and I will make sure I inform all my peers at univeristy that go to study at the this cafe about the horrible customer service experience we had. I had heard about the extremly rude staff and horrible customer service from other people but i got to expereince it first hand myself today. This is not how you run a business or keep customers.

My husband and I each had a clubhouse. It was amazingly delicious and the bread screamed healthy. He had the strawberry chiller with cream which made it like the most delicious milkshake. And the staff is such a pleasure!

7 star food, coffee and Sevice, one of my favourite place to relax. Though at times we do not end up getting to sit as all the booths are taken up, staff does try to help in trying to get us seated, it’s a challenge. Love the sandwiches, veggie perfecto wrap is my favourite.

Almost consistently bad customer service. The owners and some of the cashiers are not friendly and have been rude multiple times. I didn't hear my coffee order being called and the owner came up to me and rudely said we have called it multiple times. When I asked for a coffee to be remade they simply said we are going to do the exact same thing again so there isn't going to be a difference. Although I used to come here often, I will not be coming here again.

Have been here a lot and I think I have even left 5 star reviews…. Unfortunately. The food was great…and still is. Little on the pricey side but I am okay with that. What I am not okay with is the guy behind the counter just grabbing food bare handed to throw in the bag for skip drivers to pick up. The cleanliness has gone downhill a lot. Was in there first thing when they opened. I pointed out the counter needed wiping from food stains. 20 minutes later, and after serving a dozen more customers, and it hasn’t been touched. Floors and washrooms are in serious need on a cleaning…. Something I would think would be done before opening the doors. Would love to better my review for next visit.

THE WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE EVER RECEIVED IN A CAFE. I enjoy working at coffee shops for a few hours always ordering multiple times throughout my visit whether it be coffee or a snack.

This is my third visit here. Same employee is borderline HARRASSING customers. My first visit was great here as he was not working.

Second visit, employee said at 6: 40PM, "Everyone must leave in 2 minutes. " Posted closing hour is 7: 00PM. I was in the middle of a task I was wrapping up, and he said his announcement once every 10 seconds then he approached every single table to tell them "we are closed, you must leave now". Followed by waiting at their table until they packed up and got up.

Third and LAST visit, I order breakfast here while I am working. 90 minutes later, I go up to the counter to order another coffee. Before I say anything, employee emphatically says "By the way, if it gets busy, you will be first to be kicked out". I said "Excuse me? " He says, "there's a 90 minute time limit for booths". I said, "that's why I am ordering again, treat me as a new customer that walked in to order. It's not even busy (store is not even half full on a Sunday afternoon). " Employee responds "it doesn't work that way". I ask if this is only relevant to booths? Employee answers saying "yes, all other spots are fine". I say "no worries, I'll move to a table after I order. " He says "Those are government regulations because of Covid, you can't move to a table. You must leave" I am very surprised by the amount of BS at this point so I wanted to clarify by asking "So you are saying if I sat at a table from the beginning I can sit here all day long, but if I sit at a booth I must leave the store after 90 minutes? ”. He says "yes i am sorry". I respond saying "and you are saying those are government regulations? " To which he says "oh no I meant franchise policy". I said "okay thanks" and walked away.

I decided to not order anymore as I don't know if I can even finish my meal / coffee had I ordered again before Mr. Employee of the Year approached me again with his harrasing tone to kick me out.

Hands down, worst case of customer service and lack of management on the floor. Too bad as the products and ambiance were lovely. Boycotting Coffee culture for their "Franchise Policy":)

Delicious gluten-free dessert, as always. My son and I also had smoothies, and they were very good, except they could have been blended a little longer as there were some chunks of ice left. However, it was a busy time of day and it appeared the young person was in training, so I have no issues.

Like the cozy environment of coffee culture and friendly behavior of the staffs. Love their coffee and cheese cakes. Try their wraps, especially the steak cheese wrap, it's supa delicious.

Coffee culture is the best cafe in winnipeg! With amazing scenery and dining. The baristas are amazing. Very friendly and attentive.

We’ve been to this coffee shop more than 3 times now, I like the atmosphere and people are friendly and nice, but the pastry each time was old and not fresh. We would love to come back but I advise to have fresh pastry to me costumers experience better

I am not sure where to start. I really want to be able to give restaurants, especially small businesses 5 stars but after my experience today, that is just not possible, unfortunately.

Location: Conveniently located in the shared parking lot with Pembina South Sobeys, kitty corner to CIBC.

Parking: Free parking in the shared parking lot and outside of the store front.

There is no drive thru option, so it is walk in and take out or dine in. We decided to walk in and dine in. There was plenty of space to sit and only one other customer group sitting at a table.

Customer Service: Very poor customer service at this location. They really need to work on this because it was a huge turn off.

This place wasn't busy and what I noticed first was there was no greeting upon entry. I did say hi/how are you. We were asked if we knew what we wanted. I asked how it worked for dining in (did we purchase and then sit for example). I was informed we would have to show our ID and QR code. No problem there.

The barista did not appear as if she wanted to be there. Taking our order seemed almost painful.

Upon leaving, the barista walked away from the front counter. I said "Thank you" and the two staff couldn't do me the courtesy to even respond. They just looked and stared as I left.

Now, what makes this whole experience worse is that with certain folks who came in during the time we were dining in, their experience, the way they were spoken to and thanked was so nice and kind.

It is so very unfortunate that there's different service for different folks. I'm unsure what we did to deserve such poor treatment. I will not subject myself to this poor treatment again.

Food: Our hot drinks came a small piece of biscotti- nice touch. The biscotti tasted great!

We had the full walnut salad with balsamic vinaigrette. It was very good. The walnuts are candied, and the salad is topped with a type of feta-seemed more like a soft cream.

We also tried a sandwich-panini style. Nothing special but we were happy about the variety on the menu.

Their Chai latte tastes like it's made with lavender. Not what I was expecting for chai but I realize everyone has their own recipes.

We also found the drinks too sweet for our liking. We didn't specify any level of sweetness (nor were we asked).

They also had a variety of muffins, Cheesecake Factory Cheesecake, bagels and more. There's something here for everyone to try. They also have smoothies and other drinks too.

Cleanliness: Upon entering this cafe, there is hand sanitizer available. The restaurant however needs some finer attention to detail when cleaning. I too have worked in food establishments and when it's that quiet, you keep busy cleaning.

The table we sat at was dirty with several spots. There is no system to indicate to the customer what table has been sanitized and which one has not.

Overall very disappointed. I had been meaning to come check this place out but was severely disappointed. We've wanted to come at night but this place closes at 8pm (sometimes sooner!).

I would think, for being the only location currently in Winnipeg, you'd want to have a higher standard of customer service and care. At the end of the day, if there was consistency in customer service, that's all that would matter.

The atmosphere is cozy. The food selection is pretty decent. However, the barista lady/cashier/food service worker is not friendly. Does not say thank you or you are welcome. I can sense that she is not happy to be working in this cafe. I've seen reviews here that are similar to mine. Question to the owner, what would you feel if the person representing your business is like this?

Very bad customer service. The young man working there have some attitude issues he sounds very rude. I used to go there twice a week, as there’s only one coffee culture in winnipeg it’s 35 minutes drive from my house. I went there yesterday, ordered a coffee and peanut butter cake and he gave me frozen peanut butter cake, i got sick after eating it because of that idiot. It’s a beautiful place but that guy is making it worst.

Very good flat white coffee, veggie wrap, and the only place I know to get The Cheesecake Factory cake.lemonade was meh and overpriced (lesson learned). Friendly staff and very clean - will return.

Not what I was expecting but overall an average dining experience. It has a cafeteria-style dining vibe. I got the hot chocolate without any fancy topping, I didn't like that it wasn't hot, it was warm. I also got the Turkey Bacon Swiss Sandwich and it was really good! My friend got the Avocado Strawberry salad and enjoyed it.
