Comodo Chinese Restaurant

They advertise on their menu that “one order comes with one piece” under the spring roll appetizer or egg roll appetizer section. I’ve ordered from there four times now and have never received one free of either.

I drive 40 min from out of town to order my takeout from here. The staff are very friendly and the food is awesome!

Food was good. Egg roll was quite greasy and I didn't get any sauce for my breaded shrimp.

Excellent, kind service. Fantastic Chinese food. The fried rice, vegetable and meat dishes all will leave ravenous for more they are so good!

Ginger beef was more like beef jerky chewy no flavour. Chicken balls were not right chicken was rubbery almost felt uncooked. No taste to rice was very dry. First time ordering from here and never again.

We got Chinese food which included chicken balls and we were eating and we came across pink chicken and now me and my husband have food poisoning do not go to this place I would never recommend this place we've called to complain with the owners or manager and they've done nothing to rectify it DO NOT EAT HERE

I had no fork and napkins to eat my take out due to them not having dine-in! I was hungry and ate with my fingers.ugh. SMH!

First time ordering here. Everything was delicious and serving size was huge. Our new go to restaurant for Chinese food.

The crispy spring chicken was excellent. Very tender and tasty. The deluxe wonton soup was very good and the bean cake and mixed vegetables was also really good. Order was ready when promised, always great service.

This is the second time I have ordered from Comodo and the family loves the food. Lots of flavour, containers always full and great value for the price.

I recently moved to Edmonton from Winnipeg and one of the things I miss the most is Comodo! They have the BEST breaded shrimp and their portions are very generous and the prices aren’t bad at all. Man I wish there was a few Comodo’s here in Edmonton.
Seriously I used to work in the area and one Saturday I was waiting for the bus to go home and I smelled the food from across the street. I decided to try it and that was it, I NEVER went anywhere else for my Chinese food fix after that first time!
Simply the BEST!

So friendly, I miss this restaurant since we moved out to St. Norbert (how i wish I had a comodo out this way as I can't find a hafe decent one out this way) so what do I do when I get a bad craving of really good Chinese, I drive there and do pick up enough for days lol.

Some of the best Chinese food I've had in the city ill make to drive this way to grab some when I want some good quality food the portion sizes are huge and the service is quick and friendly 5 stars

Called to place an order and they wanted to charge me more then the prices posted on the menu off their website. Will never call there again.

Always go to place for take out, I recommend the Beef With Bokchoy and Battered Fish with lemon sauce on the side

Normally I do not like Chinese food, but I love this place! They do not cheap out on the shrimp and the food is delicious

Order was ready when they said it would be. Food is hot and yummy. Lots of parking just outside the front door; very convenient and accessible.

Good food, good service.
Be careful what you order as the portions are enormous.
Soup bowls are three bigger than I’ve ever been served.
Main meals were so big that we couldn’t eat more than half and had to take lots home.
It’s never a bad thing to get too much food but each main meal was easily big enough for two people once the rice was added.
No liquor license so no beer or wine.
Iced water in a styrofoam cup?
Come on guys, plastics beakers from Dollorama are a dime a dozen.

Great Chinese food! Pretty fast service also. Just make sure you order early on special days, they get busy

Very happy with my experience here. I ate in, and was frequently visited by staff. The food was reasonably priced and the portions were large. The sweet and sour pork as well as the ginger beef in particular were very good, with all other dishes being excellent as well. I will be happy to come again

Food was very good. I was surprised. We planned to eat in but they packed to go. The lady offered us free drinks and was very friendly. Lemon chicken was very nice.
