Concordia Health Associates Walk-in Clinic

My family and I only go to this clinic because I followed my doctor here when he left his last clinic at St. B. The last place he was at was amazing, easy to get a hold of, friendly staff all around. This place has been extremely frustrating to deal with. Absolutely cannot get through on the phone to these receptionists. What on earth are they doing? Answer the phone and put us on hold. There are several receptionists and with multiple phones with multiple lines there should be no excuse. This is a medical practice…they’re more organized at a pizza place taking incoming orders and we can’t figure out a system in health care to answer the phone to patients? I have been trying for 3 days to book an appointment for my son. 3 days! No answer! It rings then you’re put on hold with the elevator music for god knows how long and then it hangs up on you. Just ‘click’. I call back go through the whole process again. What is going on over there? Do I have to drive across the city and walk in there just to book an appointment? Why has it become the absolute norm now for receptionists to be completely unpleasant and bitter. As if we’re somehow annoying you by calling to book an appointment which if I’m not mistaken is part of your job? I love my doctor he’s amazing but at this point I am seeking out a new one because of this clinic. What’s the point of having a good doctor if you can’t even get an appointment with him?

The front desk clerk said not a walk in but it says on their website it’s a walk in

Doctor is great, reception however is extremely difficult to get ahold of.will wait on hold for 10-20 minutes each time.need an email or online service to be able to talk to someone instead of waiting so long for a question.

If you’re looking for a walk- clinic, it is not a general walk-in unless you have a family doctor there, they should state that on their description

Does not mention anywhere that you must have a doctor registered at this location to be able to be seen. It is not an actual walk in but it is named as such! Hubby went this morning in extreme discomfort and got turned away after being told he can't be seen because his doctor isn't registered. Plenty of walk ins elsewhere to go that'll take you regardless of your actual doctor but this one is close to home so it's quite disappointing.

Can't give a comment without a rating, otherwise I would rate this clinic negative. I have a service dog, and was refused access which is illegal.

My family doctor has been here all my life. But unfortunately they have a very dated way of practicing medicine. Concordia health associates is a “come back if it gets worse” kind of place. I definitely don’t recommend coming here if you are in any type of pain because they won’t believe you.
