Had a great lunch today. The server was very professional food was tasty and I enjoyed the trip highly recommended.

I had a large takeout order on Sat. The staff were accommodating with pick up time changes due to weather. The main dishes were amazing. The garlic naan delicious but small portions same thing with the rice compared to the amount of food. Ordered medium heat and all delicious.

Went last weekend for dinner.food was amazing so good service was very fast neat and clean tables staff was okay could be more nice no one was smiling but overall good experience:)

Was visiting winnipeg with my friends food is one of the 1st choice we have while deciding to travel, Went there for breakfast, tried masala dosa platter, it was really good masala dosa was really nice and crispy with a steamed idly, vada 2 chutneys though we felt like the coconut chutney could have done better. And had the best tea so far from a restaurant since i moved to canada. Loved the tea

Man i would eat this everyday! I had chicken curry and on my days it was FANTASTIC! I’ve never tried such good curry bro, the staff was pretty friendly aswell! The place itself was beautiful there was some art and just a very big area great for parties! I loved the naan and curry duo it was great! And they have free rice but the portions pretty small so make sure too get 2-3 portions of the rice!

I recently had the pleasure of dining at the Copper Chimney Restaurant and can honestly say it was one of the best experiences I have ever had in a restaurant with Indian food! The food was outstanding, with a great variety of flavors and spices. The service was excellent, with friendly and attentive staff. The atmosphere was cozy and inviting, with an inviting decor. I would highly recommend this restaurant for anyone looking for a desi, delicious and satisfying meal in Winnipeg.

I had a disappointing experience with Copper Chimney recently. I placed an order for their papri chaat, which I was really looking forward to. However, after waiting for 20 minutes, I received a call from them informing me that the papri chaat was out of stock. This was quite frustrating as it would have been better to know this upfront before placing the order. Communication about stock availability needs improvement.

Food is delicious however I find restaurant cheaps out on the meat.

They add extra sauce so it appears like alot but chicken or other meat in small pieces buried in sauce basically too often

Food is okay with super delayed service. I would say the staff is trying to appease the guests however management doesn't care. Avoid this if you are in rush or bringing family here. Low staffing in kitchen amd servers is making this give 2 stars. Indian restaurants have always good food but short staffed. I hope management will take care of this. These stars must riase flags.

At one point I believe I gave them a good review when they were still at the old location. We had dinner here last night and their menu had incorrect information. Specially for people with allergies this can be fatal. Their menu has “gf” options listed for people with celiac and when we inquired what substitutions they were using instead of wheat they came back and said it was not gluten free. Then we opted for another item that was supposedly “gf” and that item was also not gf. Educate yourself on what gf means before putting it up on a menu.

Food was really great. Loved the flavours. Specially loved the manchurian.
I wanna also thanks Rupinder who was our server and was too approchable, quick, friendly and polite. Always wanted to have more servers like her️. Really appreciated.

Quality has gone down drastically! Manchurian was under cooked, mushroom chilly was tasteless and noodles were messy.lot of oil used…seems like dine food and take away food is prepared differently as there is a lot of difference in quality of food

Service is too slow, i waited too long for a table but, didn't get any.they do not have a reservation system.

Yesterday I went there for dinner with my family food was so delicious and service was so good and fast we enjoyed a lot. We try veg noodles and gobi Manchurian we got our food so fast.we are very happy from the service of counter girl dilpreet i want to thank u dilpreet who suggest delicious food and she handle to every customer with very polite way. I really like this place. Highly recommend to everyone pls visit to Cooper chimney if you wanna try best food on best price.

People who had never been to Copper Chimney in India would always give more stars than mine. The food was really delicious, however the delay in serving made the party fall back as we ordered few different products from the menu. All the things should be served at the same time so people can eat together rather few finishing while few just starting to eat on the same table. Kids become cranky when they receive their meal at the last. Customer service policy should be reviewed. Restaurants are not about only cooking food in kitchens, but maintaining table times and help customers deal with your wait times. I hope the management will hire some professionals to manage the policies. Hiring non-professionals will never get you 5 stars except from the people who never had tasted indian cuisine. Be responsible if you own Copper Chimney.

The chicken tikka was cooked to the right degree. The amount of masala was just right. Never disappointed.

I havd tried the food for the first time and my experience is very bad. Garlic Naan was tasteless, worse cheese Chilli, to much cream in butter chicken, yogurt was too salty. Whoever said this is good restaurant those doesn't know the real taste of Indian food. Only 2 stars because of the food presentation.

After moving from Toronto to Winnipeg I found the best Indian flavours restaurant is Cooper chimney. The food was so delicious and service was also brilliant I want to special thanks to counter girl Dilpreet who provide best service to me and my family. I recommend everyone to please visit there if you want to try reasonable and delicious food.i will recommend to try gobi mancurian that is so yummy.

Today, I went to copper chimney for dinner with my friends. Food was very delicious and also the waiters are very polite. Service was so good and fast like in other restaurants we have to wait for long time for food but there we get food. So our experience at copper chimney is great.

Most of the reviews are fake, lets be honest here. Servers dont like you. They dont smile at you and food is uncooked and smells bad.

We ordered paneer tikka masala. But there was chicken rather than paneer tikka masala. Even though they mention Paneer tikka masala over lid. We had a worst experience because we all are vegetarian that hurt over religious values. Kindly, Please make sure while giving the order because it’s pretty bad to hurt someone’s values.

Very rude staff and they served uncooked food. You can taste tomato gravy from the can. Staff dont even smile. Really upset with the services and taste. Wont go there again.

Couple of weeks ago we went there to dine in as well, at that time we called there to reserve at that time a girl on a phone said no need for reservation just come in. But when we got there, they refused us to dine in. We came from south pointe and had to went back somewhere else for dine in. Called cab and managed somehow.

Finally, got a chance to Visit there yesterday, 6-7 servers were working- none of them were smiling at us. Coz i think they dont like customers. Paneer sabji was uncooked and all main courses were so tasteless. Trust me this place reminded me

The food was so delicious. Had chicken biryani and chicken Tika with nann. Amazing! The service was excellent as well…definitely worth a visit

They used to be the best place to order biriyani from, but now they are probably the worst of all Indian restaurants available in Winnipeg. Their taste changed for the worst, the amount of protein they would usually give in the biriyani decreased drastically. In an order of a lamb biriyani that’ll cost $16.99 you get at maximum 2-3 piece of lamb meat and they stuff it with their badly cooked biriyani. The biriyani tastes horrible now. Either their manager changed or the chef, whatever happened or changed was for the worst. Such a disappointment to see a restaurant that was so good turn out to be this bad. Very disappointed. Never ordering again.

Disgusting food. Found hair in Vegetable Raita. Pathetic customer service. Cashier at the front was very rude to us. I don’t recommed this place at all.

Food was good, tasted nice, ingredients felt fresh and quantity wasn't terrible. Although the service was decent there are some improvements to be made for 5 stars, serving times were a little bit too long even though it was pretty busy and simple and obvious things like having at least 1 menu per table could be done. Printing a menu can't possibly be that expensive and another table shouldn't need to borrow our only menu after we were done, it also shouldn't take as long as it did for me to get my vaccination checked and join my group there was only one member at a time handingout take aways, seating people and checking vaccinations they should realize it's a 2 person job on a busy evening. Otherwise staff was courteous and the restaurant was kept clean and had good ambience.

Best food in Winnipeg always prefer copper chimney to everyone to come here and try you will know by your own.

Wanted to try the dining experience here since had heard a lot about this place. It was awful. First we kept waiting to place our order and after that when she arrived with our drinks she told me to sit on the edge of my seat since it was discomforting for someone sitting behind me. Their sofa seat needed fixing it was a little loose but I was not sitting with my back relaxed to it when I told her this she still told me rudely that I needed to sit on the edge of the table like they really wanted me to be in discomfort and eat. That is not how you treat your guests. We come to a fine restaurant to enjoy the ambience and service. I'd rather sit in my bed and eat than to sit like that and be spoken to in that way. She literally saw me sitting with no back attached to the sofa but still spoke like that. Seemed like she had preference over the table behind me since they were more people hence more food and tip for her. Really wanted to just walk out that very moment but sat for the appetizers and canceled our main food order. The girl on the front suggested we could take out our food but I was in no mood to sit there and wait for it. WIsh I could have just stayed at home and ordered take out would have saved my time and money. Will never suggest anybody to go and eat there.

They even don’t deserve 1 star. I went their for dinner today and there was hair in the Raita. Instead of regretting the lady at the customer service with brown eyes was pretending that it is our mistake not their. She has to much attitude and was not apologetic please hire someone with good skills that can serve customer better and take care of them.

Bad customer service. Would never suggest anybody to go there just because of there bad service.

Perfect guest services and delicious food.

Either Winnipeg has shortage of tasty hakka and Indian food or the chef who prepared my food served his/her last day. I ordered via uber eats, food came so late and it was just all colour and sourness and no flavour. I ordered chicken Manchurian and chicken noodles, no flavour, the noodles tasted doughy- like it was soaked in water forever. The poultry used was pretty old cause it simply bland. Myself and hubby had been travelling from Whitehorse to Toronto, tasting Indian cuisine all along. I chose this place seeing the rating and boy what a let down it was!

I would say the best restaurant in Winnipeg, I have been to this place thrice and never got a chance to point the finger. Also would like to mention a server named Sandeep who served us twice, she is the cherry on the top. Excellent service and most importantly served with a big smile. The recommendation would be: Chicken/paneer lababdar must try, all appetizers you won’t regret.

Extremely slow customer service. Long wait. Servers totally ignore when called. They are short on staff. Not enough servers to provide good service. Servers looked exhausted and totally overwhelmed by orders.

The dining system was assume. Food quality was perfect, spice level and tastes was absolutely good. Everything was organized in appropriate manner.

They have so many different types of foods so please from my reference try the lassi bhala (dahi bhalla) and black labbos (gulab jamun) and the other best thing regarding restaurant is the way of owner talking is good if you suggest something or complaint something they clearly answer you in such a good way thats i know you guys want free food

One of the worst experience with this restaurant (Copper Chimney), when complained about the food over the phone, they were being rude and told you want free food. Also dahi bhalla was like they added water instead of dahi (Yogurt). We were being regular customer but I will never go back to this restaurant.

Would give a zero if i could. Sleepy service, poor food quality. Took an hour to get food. Food was dry and not cooked well. It was a busy night I get it, but worst service I have ever experienced.

We had very good food in restaurant dine in when the place first opened and recommended lots of our friends.
Very disappointed with take out food today we ordered vegetarian manchurian which was very soggy in brown gravy and no flavor, Hakka noodles were also very soggy and salty, we ended up wasting our food.
Will not recommend what we ordered to anyone.

Tried a few different places in the city looking for some authentic Indian cuisine and man oh man did this place raise the bar! So full of flavor and just enough spice, delicious naan and tandoori chicken that would makevyour mouth water. Will definitely be going here in the near future.

Came here with a friend and left very impressed! Was sooo good and have come back since. Will DEFINITELY be back!

I ate chilli paneer from copper chimney on new year, that was so delicious I never ate that taste before.

I tried food from this restaurant last evening. OMG food was amazing, they had best Mancurian and Hakka noodles in town. If I talk about their interior that’s awesome. Everything is perfect. I am very excited to try more dishes from the menu

I went there when it first opened I've been there three times and the food is always fantastic, normally Indian food is extremely spicy and unbearable but they have three options so me being a very sensitive taster can enjoy their food without melting from the spices that they call normal LOL

Not AYCE but the quality of the food is worth every penny. Good portion, authentic taste, a highly recommended restaurant for Indian food lovers.

Food is okay for the price.
Cannot complain because its Winnipeg.
However waiting time is bit longer.

A little pricey but good food. Doors opening constantly with "Skip the dishes " making it cold often.

They also serve hotcupscanada tea here. They made it better then the person who represents the company in my opinion, so I definitely would order a cup from here!

Parking is available in a decent sized lot.

Food is the best. Samosas made of real potatoes not bagged hash browns, chai tea is authentic, staff are helpful, friendly and so polite. I cant say enough good about this place. Even busy wait times are within reason.

Last night I made a pick up order and was directed by the lady on the phone that my order would be ready in 30 minutes.

I arrived at the restaurant 35 minutes later and the lady told me “it will just be another 3 minutes” and asked that I take a seat while I wait.

After waiting for 30 minutes, without any update, I saw that 4 tables had, all had food brought out and 3 delivery drivers picked up their food I finally went and asked and was told it would still be a few more minutes and it wasn’t until I asked for a refund that they were able to put my order together in about 30 seconds.

This restaurant has long wait time for food. Many times you think Why you came to this restaurant. December 26 2019. I noticed that customer who came after me and placed an order after I did. Still they got the food earlier. What kind of service is this.

And server just told us sorry sir. I don't recommend this restaurant to my friends and family.

Love this restaurant, staff friendly and very delicious food, especially Lamb curry. Prices are good, you spend about $20 for good size of meal and drink.

The samosas that I ordered were some of the worst I’ve ever had. They seemed as if they were re-fried. Tasted burnt and stale. Very bad.

I always order food from this restaurant but never been there before. I went last night with my friends. We waited for at least half an hour because it was busy and that was so obvious as it was Christmas Eve. We didn’t mind that. The food was too delicious and the service was also fast. A girl named Dilpreet was so friendly. The prices of the food items are also reasonable. As the restaurant is quite famous in the city, so they should increase the sitting area. Recommend this place to everyone.

I ordered pickup and had a wait time of 1 and half hour. After reaching the restaurant 1 and half hours later they still told me to wait 20 minutes. Very bad service. A couple who walked into the restaurant after me got their food before me. Very dissapointing place.

I ordered two times from this restaurant, and I had a bad experience.
The first time there was raita in the order and they charged for that, but when I reached home, and I noticed there is no raita in the bag.
Second time I ordered 2 dozen samosas and I found a hair in one of the samosas.

So if you order food for takeout then please check it before you leave because I called them regarding the missing item and they said it is not possible.

This is a gem of a restaurant. The food is always incredible. The environment is nice and welcoming. Seating can be limited at times.

Went to this place for dinner when we were in town. The good was great and the staff was awesome. Definitely should go if you live here or are in town for a short period. It does get busy in the evening so might have to wait a bit before you get a seat.
