Cora Breakfast and Lunch

Takes forever to get ur food, Every time i come there i don’t get anything for over an hour.

Asked for medium poached eggs on my Benny it was almost raw then they bring just another poached egg not a whole Benny umm ty but I can't eat the salmon that had raw egg in it.thanks don't bother appetite gone

Absolutely highly recommend this place! Came at 7: 00 and it was nice and chill. Todd was a phenomenal server that deserves a 10/10 recognition for his work, delivery of food, and excellent customer service. Food was well displayed, tasted delicious and I’m full:)

My family in law has been going to this restaurant for a long time and recommended it to us, hence we decided to give it a try. We were not disappointed; the food was great, staff was friendly and service was excellent. Portion sizes were quite large and definitely more than sufficient. The restaurant was clean and nicely decorated. The only negative point we could think of was that they asked lots of questions about what kind of extra’s we wanted and how exactly we wanted our dishes to be, which is unusual for us as Europeans.

There hardly any body in the place and they sat me at a dirty table and the knives were dirty. Not a good way to start the day.

A bit on the pricy side (for us), but the food is consistently good every time we have gone there and the service is good too! A favourite breakfast/brunch option when we are in the city.

Cora's is such a great place for breakfast.oh, yes and lunch.
I had the Breakfast Poutine. A great spin on the classic. YUM!

Usually this is one of my favorite breakfast spots that are close to home.

I enjoy being served by Megan and Sophie, they both know how to executve top knotch customer service.
Today it was someone different and it is also a week day. Maybe that makes the quality of food and service go down. There is a total of 10 tables in here split between 2 servers.it is 928 am. Our server never asked us how our food was. I had to seek her out seeing as it was not good. (Which is a first for us)

My sunshine panini was missing cheese and my blueberries were moldy super gross. I did go grab myself a menu from the front to make sure there was supposed to be cheese in.

After I hunted down our nametagless server to let her know that we werent pleased. She went to the kitchen and came back to tell me there is cheese in my panini and took away my moldy blueberries.

I guess all my years in the hospitality industry and my expectations might be to high. I do usually expect an aplogy and an attempt at correction. Neither came from our nametagless server.

Either way we won't make the mistake of sitting in her section again.

Nice place to dine in for families, friends, and business peers. Food quality is served with high standard. Very delicious and tasty flavours. Taking care of details and plates decorating. Service lady is very nice, friendly and deals with professionalism. She acted in a nice and professional way when we did some changes after our food was served. Clean place and washrooms. Desserts are very delicious with fresh fruits. The menu is full of many and big varieties, long list of items to serve. They don’t serve a refill pop; we got only cans. Overall experience is great. Thank you everyone for doing a great job. Keep it up!

Really good food! The staff was friendly and service was quick. Great spot to grab some breakfast or brunch.

I found the entire restaurant cold enough that I could takeoff my jacket, when the weather outside was only -10. Also the speakers for the house music are blown, causing constant distortion and static. The overall atmosphere before I even ordered didn’t make it feel comfortable or safe. I walked out.

I love going to Cora’s, I always get the jo construction. Bacon and sausage is perfect for breakfast! I went again today and the service was great! I look forward to coming back!

It is a place where you order what you order from menu absolutely it is delicious and abundant. Excellent service, very clean, nice environment and friendly.

I went with 3 other people and I don’t think anyone enjoyed their meal. Absolutely no substitutions. If you don’t want to toast you don’t get toast and they don’t offer you anything like a few slices of tomato or hash browns instead.

Wish I could give it 5, however the bacon was a little old, like it had been sitting there too long. Other than that, breakfast was phenomenal, service was quick and friendly. Definitely going back next chance I have!

Actually, there are not many restaurants which are upon 4 stars in Winnipeg, this brunch is the one.

First time here and enjoy the awsome brunch with friends. Do love the Eggs Benedict. The sauce on it is great taste, not too thick nor too salt, just be there. Must eat them quickly, colder eggs will lose their soul.

And the chips, good and full, I can't stop eating though.

All the fruit is fresh and enough. Their styles are lovely. Probably, ladies would be into the fruit.

Last, waiter and waitress are helpful and kind, they deserve the tips, totally. The manager replied some questions about this restaurant's history and some foods' interesting knowledge.

Will be back in future, definitely.

This is a great place to have a meal. It's child friendly, the staff are nice and the food is very tasty.

I’ve been to all the breakfast places in Winnipeg and by far this place has the best service and food. Especially from our server, Kimmy. She made our experience unforgettable and we would definitely be back there!

I frequent Cora’s St Vital on a regular basis. The food is excellent, the service is first rate and friendly, and the people that work there, from servers, kitchen staff, and management take pride in making sure customers are satisfied. They are also great with large groups!

Wasn't expecting this Montreal standby here in Winnipeg. First time been to one since the pandemic.was just like the ones at home albeit with inflation increased prices since last time

Tried the new Cora's on Dakota. The tables are placed so close together, everyone is just crammed together. The food is always excellent. The Orange juice is amazing! We asked our waitress to split our bill (easy enough) and she overcharged us $10! We caught it though and she fixed it immediately.

Went with my parents for brunch and it was amazing! The food was delicious and appealing. The waiters and waitresses were all very kind and it was a great environment to have brunch. Very fresh food and fruit and the restaurant was very clean and tidy. Highly recommend and will be going frequently in the future.

First time at Cora's. The food was good but I've had better. I had the Spinach Bennies. The eggs were poached just right, nice and runny the way I like them. But it listed caramelized onions which were just sauteed and goat cheese which I could only find a couple of little specs of under the spinach and that I was expecting more than what was on there. However the potatoe wedges were great. Nice and crispy on the outside but soft on the inside. Coffee was good as well. Would I go again? Not really. I would rather go the Ben and Florentine's. The food is better, more of and better prices.

Best Cora Breakfast in Winnipeg. The restaurant is very clean and the staff is very friendly. Definitely recommended.

There are better options for breakfast in the city. Too much bread and pancakes. Better for those that like a sweet breakfast

We’ve been to Cora’s before at their other locations and never had a bad meal. Our experience at this location was much different. Food was not good. I ordered the Chorizo- it was the most bland tasting thing I have ever had. Zero flavour and was soggy. The best part of the meal was the pineapple wedge. My husband ordered eggs, sunny side up- they came cold. Our cold, soggy food might be due to the fact that the tables that came in and ordered after us got their food first.it was not a pleasant experience. When the waitress found out about the cold eggs, she did give us a small discount on the bill, which was nice, but it seemed more as a technicality rather than a sincere gesture.

Disappointed w food (clubsandwich). Bread was dripping greace/oil.the chicken was a breast instead of being cut/shaved.not acceptable

Incredibly disappointed in the service. Only giving two stars for the bussers which were the only ones to help or even care. I got my cocktail two minutes before my food came meanwhile the rest of my family got their coffee tea etc. The server was very inexperienced and timid. She was attentive to all the tables around us but seemed to forget that we existed and we came after the morning rush. Other coras always have amazing service this one is a disgrace to the company.

Poor customer service quality! Never going there again! I took my husband and 2 kids for a brunch. The staff Made us wait for 20 minutes or more without any explanation on why we were waiting while other people were going in. I kept asking the waiters why we were still waiting but didn't get a decent explanation or an "I'm sorry". Very disappointed so I had to leave!

All the fresh fruit is amazing. Every plate is picture perfect. I'm picky about my eggs and they cooked them perfectly.
They also have some kind of blended fruit drinks (but not a smoothie) that are really good and made with fresh fruit as well.

On weekends it can be super busy so I'd allow time for a wait. Longest I've waited was half an hour or so on a Saturday morning at 11am ish. Probably a peak time.

We have been to Cora's many times and wil go again. Very good food quality with nice ingredients. We have tried the skillets this time and were very tasteful. The server was polite, friendly and accommodating.

The food was good but the service was terrible. The completely made my meal wrong. Over all not the greatest experience for the price

We were in the St. Vital area and decided to try the newly opened location as we love the potatoes. Imagine our surprise when we received deep fried seasoned potatoes. Not the potatoes they are known for. Apparently there is a petition started you can sign. So we were not the only ones. Very dissapointed.

Amazing. Definitely recommend Paul wants it all.however I have yet to be disappointed in anything I've ever order there. St. Vital Location is definitely too small for the volume of people that go through a Cora's; However beggars can't be choosers.glad a Cora's has opened up shop in St. Vital.

Very tasty breakfast. Had Eggs Benedict & Western omelet. I love Cora's for the fruit sides. Very courteous, efficient & friendly staff.

I understand that they have recently opened, but your service is terrible. About 6 tables in the restaurant. Two couples came in before me. They were greeted, coffees filled, and orders taken. Waitresses walked by me without an acknowledgement. I tried for 10 minutes to get someone's attention. NOTHING. Got up and left

You will never see our business again.

When a restaurant opts to deep fry potato wedges instead of grill fry them I'm out of there. I have been going to Cora's for years at other locations and never had it deep fried. This location's position is that it was a corporate decision but when I check other locations in two provinces this is not the case. Apparently the franchisees can opt for the fryer which personally goes against Cora's original signature. I will now opt to go the other locations as they still grill the potatoes. May not sound like much but deep fried potatoes to me is not breakfast.

Delicious food and amazing staff. A friend couldn’t decide, explained what she wanted to the waiter and he offered her two options that would provide all she wanted. Delicious, friendly and fast.

We went pretty soon after the opening and there were some problems with our food so we waited a while, but it was a busy day and our server really held it together well considering everything. Can’t remember her name but she was the youngest server, the 4 stars are for u girl

This restaurant has some of the best breakfast selection I've ever seen in Winnipeg. Great food, cheaper prices.

Pros: food & servers were great, happy & smiling faces.we were seated quickly & food arrived quick.
Cons: management must offer a gluton free potato wedge on the menu.my daughter was not happy with the substitute offer of tomato slices instead of the wedges, and the only other item that was offered was fruit but they wanted an extra 1.99 on top of a 14.00 meal, unacceptable.do the potato wedges have to have that coating on them? Unfortunately we will not be back as my daughter requires gluton free.one more suggestion, a senior meal on the menu with less food would be a nice option.

Our large group of 10 went the Saturday before mothers day. We had to wait for roughly 45 minutes, but it was expected as it was quite busy. I think Cora's is always busy so expect to always wait a few minutes when you go. Food, service and staff we're great. You get a lot of great tasting food for what you pay. My wife loves Cora's because they've somehow disguised desserts as breakfast options. Lol. Anyone with a sweet tooth will definitely love the food options at Cora's.

My friend and I went there to have a coffee, chat a little and have breakfast too at about 10 am on a Friday. The restaurant is pretty new - recently built. It's neat and clean inside and it was pretty full of people. Only 3 or 4 tables were free.

We sat down, our orders were taken promptly, we got some coffee quickly and the breakfast came in a reasonably short amount of time considering how full they were. The food was good, but not exceptional. The staff was friendly and courteous and the prices were reasonable.

I got to a business and expect the goods and services I pay for from professional and courteous staff. Nothing more, and that is a 3 star experience. That's all I expect. The service was a little faster than that and the staff was a little friendlier than that, so they're above a 3, but future experiences with them will determine if it goes up to a 4, or down to a 2.

These new owners have no idea how to run a restaurant it’s very obvious. My family waited almost an hour just to get a table, and when we finally were sat, we were told that things would take a lot longer because the kitchen was still training. Totally unacceptable.when we finally got our food after an hour it was cold and wrong and unworthy of eating. The manager/owner was absolutely horrible and refused to do anything for us other than give us a coupon so we will come back which we obviously did not plan on doing.they made us pay full price for all of our meals that we couldn’t eat because they were over cooked and cold.

Excellent food and great prices. Only downside was that empty tables were sitting there empty for 20-30 minutes or more, even as there was a lineup of people waiting to be seated. We waited almost 25 minutes for a table when there were plenty of tables!

Busy place, but great food for breakfast, brunch or lunch. We had a bit of a long wait for our meal but service was prompt and friendly.

Had a great experience there! We went on a Sat just before lunch, had a bit of a wait - to be expected on a busy day! I have a lot of food allergies and they were easily able to accommodate them, and make sure my food was safe for me to eat. The staff are very friendly. Would definitely recommend trying!

The service really needs a lot of work. Our table of 4 waited for a while for our food but we were fine with this as it gave us time to vist. Coffee never came unless we asked for it and we had to ask several times for the same cup. Menue is strict, no substitutions whatsoever! If you don’t want toast you can’t get tomatoes instead or visa versa. The food was ok, nothing to write home about but nothing leaving me wanting more. I had the goat cheese omlette and did like it.

The food is much better here than it was at the CCFM location. If you had been turned off by them, give this one another shot!

I love that they have sweet/salty plates (ie eggs, bacon, potatoes and a single crepe or french toast etc.)

I love Cora's restaurants. I truly believe that my experience at the new St Vital location may have been a one off. Regardless, I do need to express that it was extremely dissapointing. I understand that this location opened only 2 weeks ago and staff are training, which I can appreciate. I would recommend to go to this restaurant much later once its established and organized, as currently, it is quite unorganized. This is not against the staff. We can tell that they are doing the best that they can. In our experience, we waited 15 minutes for a table (which is alright) however we waited 1.5 hour for our food. During this time although we asked twice, my brother did not get a glass of water while we waited. We were checked on twice. Our food arrived after much waiting and mine was cold. Our server was very professional considering that it was a very difficult situation. She apologized several times, got a new order and offered free drink vouchers (with purchase of something else) and 10% off our meals. Unfortunately when I received my new order, it was a reduced portion and without the fruit. The rest of my family had finished eating and I was left to eat by myself. 15 minutes later, I was interrupted as I was eating. I was being asked to pay for my meal. The staff needed to clock out before going over their 8hr shift. Overall, I should not have paid for my meal.
