Typical Costco. Crazy busy, however good deals. Most staff are friendly, many customers not so much (although there are some very pleasant exceptions).

Costco supposed to be different but seems the greed is prevailing, advertise a sale item but do not stock, increasing prices which not justified,

It's Costco. Dont be in a hurry to shop, lots of people.wide selection of products. Still know your prices. Employees are very good

Good place to shopping food and living necessities. The tyre centre is so professional I bought and installed four winter tires there.

Made an eye exam appointment on July 4. Came on time (take a leave from work) and being told I have to be rescheduled as a staff made an error on scheduling. Really disappointed of Costco’s optical service.

My neighbour and I both seniors went to the membership counter as dicussed with our cashier. The cashier wrote identifing that my neighbour's membership renewal had been added to our purchase today (July 15,2023). She further stated that they would sort out why my neighbour hadn't been made aware of the renewal (as he had in previous years). At the membership counter the man was very abrasive and suggested my neighbour could "cancel his membership" right now all because he had wanted to know why he was not notified. In disgust my neighbour walked away and the man at the counter was shouting at my neighbour who by this time was 50 ft away. I worked many years serving the public prior to my retirement and at no time is it acceptable to deal with the public in this fashion. I was entertaining the idea of getting my own membership at Costco. I have since dispelled this idea. There are plenty of other grocers to meet my needs that will treat customers with respect.

Stop buying fruits from here. I have been buying a lot these years but I noticed just this year, fruits quality gets dramatically worse. Lots of damage during transportation, freezing damage and even decayed.
Luckily the roasted drumsticks are nice and that chicken gets 2 starts for Costco.

I haven't bought a Clint card yet. 2 girls at the entrance didn't let me use the toilet because I don't have a customer card.

Costco on Kenaston in Winnipeg is a fantastic place to shop. Especially since the pandemic started. They are consistent with their management of customer safety! Two big thumbs up for that! They have easily adapted their store during this time of uncertainty to keep the customers satisfied! I would also like to add, that their pharmacy is. THE BEST! The care that they give for their patients goes way above and beyond what you would think! I receive it monthly! Victoria is very thoughtful and professional and cares a lot for us. That in itself goes a long way to keeping patients/customers happy and keeps the whole shopping experience positive in that store! I recommend everyone I know to go there and get a membership, you won’t regret it!

The guy who allow this kind of pizza in store must be brain dead. So disgusting and expensive. Taste like note book. Don’t buy!

Disability accommodation. We arrived at Costco at 7: 35am hoping to avoid waiting too long in line because having done so in the past we have seen that this is tiring for the dog guide which decreases her effectiveness.
Special Thanks and kudos to Reagan for her amazing kind and efficient customer service and attitude ("we're just here to help each other") who assisted my sister and her service dog by moving them to the inside to wait as a long line had already developed. She most reasonably let people ahead of us go first and let us in after about 50+ people or so.

Lines up to the gas bar! However super organized, staff really paying attention. Line moved fast and check out very efficient. Would have given 5 stars however empty shelves meant we didn't get everything we wanted. See you in a month.

Crowded, need to wait till you get in but it moves fast, I like to shop here but always buy unnecessary items.
If you wanna eat, they serve great food and ice cream for low prices.
Its customer service is unbeatable.

I go there for bulk items that I can't purchase elsewhere plus tires, gas & eyeglasses. They have good quality and good prices on these select items.

I've gradually scaled my rating back from 4 stars to 3 stars to 2 stars to 1 star over the past 6 months, and have moved much of my shopping elsewhere.

One suggestion is don't buy there membership online. Better to buy offline at there stores because they demand prints of papers of proofs during covid 19 not accept online Docs.

Great products and prices but the shopping experience is obviously hostile and manipulative, and and often employees are highly disrespectful to customers.

Costco on Kenaston is doing an excellent job of making sure current store capacity numbers are adhered to. We always enjoy shopping there and feel safe while doing so.

Always a delight to go shopping here. Lots of sales and good prices for bulk buying. Kirkland brand is as good as any other brand name.

The constant pandering of upgrading to the executive membership is unrelenting and it seems the word "no" is foreign to all employees - they must have targets and/or make a commission if they succeed in upgrading you. I find the Costco "experience" stressful enough and only visit about 4 times a year and dread paying every time for this exact reason. We had a Costco executive membership the first year and simply put, do not spend enough in store to warrant paying the higher amount for it. Upon its first renewal we downgraded to the basic membership and had to undergo over 10 solid minutes of relenting retention tactics by multiple employees claiming a variety of amazing dollar amount savings, which when their claims are calculated, the math does not add up at all. Ultimately after threatening to cancel it altogether they complied and downgraded it.

Fast forward to a grocery shop last night, our 2nd in 3 months - the minute the cashier scanned my card and saw my cart, the executive membership ramblings starts. I politely stated on the 1st and 2nd comments from the cashier "no" and "we tried it and it did not work for us". I was ignored and between her and the cart packer, they were whispering to each other and took a picture of my card to get our historic total spend to back up their claims. I asked what they were doing when they took a picture of my credit card and was ignored by both. I watch the 2nd employee go to the managers podium and I knew what was coming next. I was then asked about it by the same cashier a 3rd and 4th time and said no repeatedly and that I would leave my cart without paying if she asked again. She finally stops. Turn around and another Costco employee is on my side of the cash till and begins explaining, yet again, the benefits. I snap and refer him to my better half waiting in the designated area, who nicely shuts him down too and we literally run out of the store once I pay and have my card and receipt tossed at me.

Bare in mind, we have a Costco Mastercard that we do almost all our spending on, but this is irrelevant in relation to a membership being covered, as the total spend on the card that occurs outside of the store means nothing to benefitting an executive membership. You would have to spend over $3,000 inside Costco alone to even begin to benefit from having your $120 executive membership covered, plus money back.

After voicing my concerns with friends and family, I am definitely not alone in feeling this way.

Service was fast, the store was clean. The membership process what quick and the sales staff was knowledgeable but not pushy.

We have used Costco ever since it first came to Manitoba; while it isn't a one stop shop shopping place, it does carry a good cross section of varying high quality products from groceries to furnishings and household appliances.

Wonderful people working here and so helpful. Great fruit and keto foods. My issue is I buy stuff I don’t need, but there is something about Costco and everyone’s cart has stuff they regret buying. There chicken wings were gross! Yuck. Even hotdogs are a skip during the pandemic, cold and no toppings. Not worth even the $1.50 they are asking. Also the fries area skip. Maybe all the cafeteria food when not eaten hot.

Huge selection, excellent prices. Groceries, clothes and automotive supplies combined with Gas makes for one stop shop for everything. Needs more vegetarian ready to eat food options at the cafeteria, but other than that no complaints.
