Apple Crumble was so nice! Tiramisu looks so cute tasted was good, but I don’t like its pie crust alike bottom.
I love Cinnamon bun latte!

We went to the new location on Edison on a Monday morning around 10am and it was busy. It didn’t take too long to get seated. The server was friendly and did warn us that there was a bit of a longer wait for the menu items, but we weren’t in a rush so it was fine. It did take about half an hour for the food but it was tasty. The service could have used some attention (coffee refills, cutlery) but the manager/owner came around and asked about our experience, we passed along our feedback. He was very receptive and kind and I know he appreciated it. We’ll be back next time we are in the area.

My friend and I had been looking forward to trying this new restaurant. When we arrived we were told to seat ourselves, which we did. We sat for quite a while before I asked a server for a menu. The drinks took a long time and the food even longer. I had ordered a basic breakfast with sausage eggs and hash browns. It finally arrived with bacon. A long while later 2 wieners showed up. It was terrible. In short, the service was really poor. No apology for the error. When the bill came I asked the server if she was at all curious why I had so much food left on my plate. Again no apology, no offer to deduct the coffee or anything else to make up for the poor service and food.
The servers need more training. They shouldn’t be cleaning the table after they serve the food and they should bring out all the food at the same time, not one person at a time.
We were very disappointed and will not be returning.

Love Cottage Bakery! Just visited their new location- so much variety, beautiful space, and delicious! We sampled a bunch of desserts and a loaf of bread- all were very tasty and fresh! Highly recommend and can’t wait to try to eatery next time!

Friendly staff and lots of options to choose from. Best part is that it has a good balance of sweetness and it's not overly sweet.

Stop going to Starbucks. This is better and supports local. Got the Apple Jack with my coffee, it was deadly good.

I love this place I ordered breakfast sandwich and the taste was perfect. The broccoli cheese soup was also creamy and rich of taste. And it was tough call indeed cause every bakery item they carries looks like charming Napoleon was such a perfect sweet thing. Most of all, the emplyees are soooo friendly 100% satisfied!

Found this gem of a bakery while in town visiting my son. Let me tell you this place will not disappoint! From the food, coffee and the incredible service! My son is now a regular as well! Can't wait to go back!

Good bakery. Delicious chocolate dessert. Croissant was a bit dry and no cream or any kind of filling in it but overall a good experience, decent crowd and good customer service.

Wonderful bakery and cafe. They have excellent breakfast and lunch options, including a delicious breakfast sandwich. They have a very wide variety of coffee flavours and even serve milkshakes and ice cream. Very popular spot for the high school students across the street.

I encourage you to try the best pastries in Winnipeg… Not an exaggeration but a FACT. Our family has been getting all kinds of desserts for years, and has always been a delight. Not to mention the exceptional service that they provide! If you ever have the chance to pass by Cottage Bakery, please go and see Ali. This man will go above and beyond and make your day. It’s the best customer service and most friendly interaction you’ll ever have!

Love the atmosphere and vibe of this beautiful corner of bakery. Their brunch & latte was above and beyond. I think it tasted better because of their bread. I had pesto chicken panini with mocha. Highly recommended)

The staff are really so kind and the food/pastries AND drinks are so phenomenal. If i could id blow my whole paycheque here. Definitely worth the price for the service and quality of food.

Bought a cake for my husband for his first birthday just after our wedding. I did not expect it to be this presentable and nice…but it ended up awesomely delicious and so beautiful. I called them especially to tell them that how glad I am to order it from them. So kind staff…I loved it…️for coming years and years they’re gonna be my first priority for any occasion cakes. Thanks so so so much once again. I recommend it all…try once…trust me u won’t regret.

New to Winnipeg and randomly found this place today, Absolutely blown away! The interior was very nice, loved reading the history of the bakery story while waiting for my order!
Everything looked amazing, lots of choices and the service was second to none.
We found the prices to be quite reasonable and the food was absolutely fantastic, we will return again and again

One of the best bakeries in town, maybe in the top three! Their desserts are some of the bests I’ve ever had. I’ve tried several items—schmoo, lemon meringue tart, toblerone cake, almond and pecan tart, keylime and chantilly cream, chocolate dome with mousse inside, mango cheesecake and chocolate and banana croissant.

My favourites are the toblerone cake, keylime cake, schmoo and lemon meringue tart. The cheesecake I had was just okay and I prefer a creamier, sturdier cheesecake and I remember the cheesecake having cheesecake-mousse consistency (I personally dont like mousse). The croissant fell flat, not buttery and crispy that I hoped for.

Overall, I love this place and I will be placing a big order of my favourites for my wedding next year!

In a place where people buy cakes from supermarket chains for their convenience, Cottage Bakery showed why custom made cakes are far better in quality, taste, and sentimental value.

The staffs working in the bakery are so nice and they want to help you. First of all, I was late in ordering as you need to give them 2 days prior notice for special ordered cakes. But, they understood my situation and actually they agreed to make the cake on 1 day advance notice. That showed the human nature in the establishment.

The cake, it was so beautifully made. It was simple and elegant. As I tend to judge a place (bakeries) from simple chocolate cakes, I was quite satisfied the quality they gave me in that cake. The instructions were followed clearly and after it was cut open, the layers were made beautifully.

Now the taste, it was so good. As I said supermarket cakes may be half the price but their taste is all so horrible. This cake had the perfect balance of sweetness and chocolate flavor with the natural hint of natural bitterness which you get from better quality chocolate products. The Frosting was light and fluffy and not at all greasy.

So, in short, the staffs are friendly, they give you good quality products and the store is really clean. I don't know what you want more from bakeries but if these are the things you look for, please.do visit them. They are amazing.

The owner and staff are exceptional.

They warmly welcomed me inside, as it was cold that morning, and made me coffee.

I have had the breakfast sandwich, the breakfast poutine, the eggs Benny, several baked goods, and a couple of smoothies, and everything that I have tried has been top notch. I definitely recommend the breakfast items and obviously the fresh baked bread.

I feel like this place feels incredible. At a time when restaurants have prepackaged deserts and we are home eating prepackaged deserts. This place is a breath of fresh air. Can’t wait to have coffee and cake with a friend inside. Everything looked great but got the raisin pie. It was for my father in law who loves old Timie pies. He said it was a 7 out of 10 and that bc it was a little dry. I don’t love raisin pie and scored it at a 4. However loved the treats and the vibe.

This place has some of the absolute best cake I've had since ever. The Schmoo & Red Velvet cakes are amazing & I could have them all day. The coffee is quite decent & the cookies are also very tasty. The staff are always kind & helpful as well. Definitely one of my favourite places to go.

This place is cozy and great to be. Staff have great patience and are nice. They have wonderful sweets and pastries. I’d love to come back for brunch.

Boxed my cake in one box instead of 2 even though i ordered two pieces for 2 separate people.it was a whole mess.came back to the store as they said they would give me another piece but i drove all the way for nothing, as their excuse was there were two pieces in the one box.just improper and i missed out on my cake.probably will get my schmoo elsewhere that will give an appropriate number of boxes for number of pieces ordered so everyone can enjoy their cake.

Smells absolutely amazing when you walk in and the staff was super helpful and polite. Haven't tried my stuff yet but looks amazing

As an American, I have a developed experience with many outdoor food establishments. The Cottage Bakery, by far, has the best food on the entire continent. I still remember that panini I had in 2018: life-changing.

Nice cakes.my favorite is Tobelerone pastry.macaroons are fine too. Schmoo is best too must try.

Nutella banana croissant, apple jacks, brownies are my staples. Had tomato soup and Tuscan veg panini today and it hit the spot. Favourite spot with numerous food and baked good options.

Grew up in the neighbourhood, and my mom bought their baked goods and bread growing up. Now in their 1382 Pembina location, I have gone for breakfast and lunch and have shared with friends, everyone loves it! They have tasty treats, great bread, yummy sandwiches and soups; paired well with their awesome selection of beverages from teas to latte's (both available iced as well) and more. Love to support local and love the friendly helpful staff that work there!

The staff is friendly and efficient, even at the lunch time rush, they still had my sandwich ready quickly! If you havent tried the chicken salad yet, you must.especially on multigrain! It has an amazing and unique flavor combination. I had to resist the urge to grab the java cookies! So unbelievably delicious!

Yes went there today February 11/20 my mom had a home care worker as she dying of stage 4 brain cancer wanted to surprise her! Was in about 4: 45 p.m. I can look on banking at exact time. Bought 2 items one was a coconut cake that was awesome! The other was a chocolate eclair cost around 9 bucks the eclair was as hard as a rock stuck in fridge in a zip lock bag. Used debit glad I did not tip as the jar says show me the dough ‍️‍️ BAD

The Cottage Bakery is a great find. My husband and I had lunch there and thoroughly enjoyed it. My egg salad in multi grain bread was great. My husband had a steak panini and he enjoyed that. We split a slice of Key lime pie - to die for! I will definitely be returning

My all time favourite pie is Saskatoon berry pie I get one for my birthday every year because I don’t like cake since my grandmother died I don’t have anyone to make it for me so my girlfriend got me one from this bakery sadly it was one of the worst pies I have ever had I can’t believe they had the audacity to charge her $14 for it

Amazing selection with reasonable prices. Coffee and dessert from this place always warm my heart.

They have good stuff there, but they don't know how to pack take out stuff. I got banana with Nutella croissant and spinach croissant and they put all in the same box. At home I had spinach croissant with chocolate in it. If you are taking stuff out, be specific in how you want sorted out.

Friendly faces and good baked goods. Cappuccino could be much better but still like this place.

The pastries are delicious, however, the dark roast coffee did taste burnt and cigarette-like. I drink my coffee black, but it would probably be good if it was masked with cream and sugar. My wife enjoyed her cottage roast coffee.
