Country Inn & Suites by Radisson, Winnipeg, MB

We stayed at this hotel for 4 nights.when we arrived we were given a room and found out sink was clogged and flush was out of order.we waited almost 2 hours till guy at front desk was able to find a room. On a 2nd day room service came and did not bother to lock the room we arrived after few hours and door was left open.when brought to front desk attention there was no action taken. At time of checkout we asked that we had this issues and we had to wait 2 hours. And guy at front desk said he doesnt know how to provide discount and tried to call manager and said sorry manager is not available. We just paid and left. Horrible service.

Nice hotel, most of the reviews seem to mention being out dated and I think that's accurate however it wasn't a problem.
Breakfast was great!

Rooms are in need of renovations and have a funny smell. Hair in my ice bucket. A VERY NOISY HOTEL! Beds were clean and comfortable. My 2 queen beds/room was given away - until I pulled out my booking info and got my husband involved.they then gave me back my room. Wouldn't stay there again.

I really liked all the services provided by country inn hotel. I came from Ukraine and i stayed there for a month. They have gym there, free breakfast and very good customer services. They helped me alot whenever i was asking for help.

My family and I stayed a night here on arrival to Canada from Nigeria, November 19th, 2019 and the experience still live with us. Keep up the excellent service.

Dirty, dusty, smells like mildew, the coffee machine was broken, but the bed was reasonably comfortable.

This is the first hotel I have checked into in Canada. As I am an unpretentious person I am quite happy with the service, so I give it an excellent mark.

The wifi doesn’t work it’s crazy 180$ a night for no wifi don’t come here you better at a hotel we’re you pay 200 but you got good WiFi AT LEAST And the room was dirty I’m never coming back here

Old, dirty, no internet, carpets need replacing throughout.have visited Winnipeg many times and stayed at many hotels.this was by far the worst experience. Cannot stress enough.don't stay here.same price to stay at other hotels. Disappointing

The rooms are well equipped, warm and beds are comfy. Continental breakfast was a joke. We were given a bag with a box of cheap juice, an apple, muffin and granola bar. For $100 per night room the breakfast did not exceed $4 in cost. If it were not a covid era, breakfast would have been far more nutritious, but thеу could have filled the bag with something better

Air conditioner was full of dirt and insects, toilet seat had dried up old urine where it attached to the bowl. Bathroom sink had whiskers all around the tap and various other debris. Would not walk on the carpet unless I had shoes on.

Someone from Radisson HQ should go stay here - I will never spend another night in a Radisson after my one night experience in this hotel. Stay somewhere else - you'll be glad you did for so many reasons.

This hotel is abysmal. Toilet was filthy was I checked in. Shower/tub had hair from another occupant. Walls were dirty. Carpet smells. Don't stay here if you want to be in a clean room. And the internet just didn't work. I use my phone data instead.

Honestly, this hotel is the pits. I guess if you are looking for just a place to hang your hat, this will do, but the area it is in is terrible. I was approaced by rough looking folks lookingnfor a light for their cigarette and young people were hanging outside listening tobloud music. There was also a mustly smell in the hotel lobby and rooms. The fact that they had to have security roaming the halls and driving around outside should have said it all. I would rather not stay here again.

We stayed there from June 19 to June 24, room 327. It was a horrible experience. The room smells, old, mold on the windows, the AC wasn't working well, there was some kind of seeds in the AC. The hotel was housings flood victims. Security guards were walking the halls. I regret not checking out earlier. I came back home very sick. I refused the complimentary breakfast. It was noisy in the mornings with trucks outside. Please do not go to this hotel. It's NASTY

This motel or inn and suites as they call it doesn't look as old on the outside as it does on the inside it could use some updating but the bed was very comfortable and that's more important to me than anything. Very close to Winnipeg international airport was also a bonus. Continental breakfast had a few choices it was normal. Staff was friendly.

Location, service, and cleanliness were okay, but that bed was horrible. I stay at hotels at least once a month and this bed was by far the worst I've expressed.

Stay was good. Our suite was very clean, dated but clean. I would choose clean and dated over dirty and modern. The staff was great especially Dean. Went out of his way to accommodate and very friendly. Would stay again.

Staff were great! They were helpful and friendly. The rooms were quite dated and carpets looked old and dingy but the room was otherwise clean and comfortable

I have been waiting for almost a month for my security deposit, stayed on January 5th under the name Aditya Menon Sreeraj.
Would be wonderful if your front desk staff are trained to reply to the voicemails, because obviously everybody is too busy to take the call. I expected better service after the stay, because it's no use glorifying the stay when you have a really bad experience after.

We stayed for 1 night from the 26th to 27th of September.
There was dried up orange peel on the floor, dried up pepperoni from pizza, lots of threads on the floor and long dark hair on the floor in the bathroom. I had left my email address with front desk but never heard from anyone. We were in room 204.

Struggled with the cards for our room but made up for it by upgrading our room.thank you for a great night sleep that I needed!

Room carpet was filthy.
Appliances didn’t work half the time- TV and microwave.
Staff is very rude.
Breakfast is pathetic.
Generator outside keeps humming and keeps you awake.

Although front desk was very friendly and courteous, the cleanliness of the room was atrocious!
There was hair and sock lint in the bed and on the floor as well as in the bathtub! We had to change our own sheets when we let front desk know what happened. The coffee whitener curdled in my coffee.
In the morning we let the lady know at checkout and she gave us a $25 rebate.

Long hairs in the bed and hairs in the two sets of replacement sheets that were requested. Sticky residues on surfaces. Hairs in the bathroom tub and on the bathroom floor. Sore and itchy skin after staying here. Terrible experience. Not even an offer for a refund or rebate! Told by staff that this “was the best they could do. ”

The bare minimum for any hotel experience is clean sheets. Simply unacceptable.

It was clean and comfortable. Breakfast is as to-go, but it didn't have a savory option in the bag only sweet. For a one night it's good.

Stayed for 4 nights, room was cleaned just once even after reporting it. Disgusting. Bottom of Bath tub was broken.

I was a former housekeeper here. And it's just gross that the people who also worked as housekeeper were okay with not changing sheets and blankets "because they look clean" beyond disgusting. Housekeeping Manger is extremely rude. I was yelled at cause I was just doing what I was told sadest experience ever working here so many things that aren't handled properly just yuck

Absolutely aweful stay. My wife and I stayed a night at the hotel, but the other guests were aweful. Almost every room in the hotel had teenagers staying in them that night, and they were running around the entire building all night, slamming doors and making a racket. They were knocking on doors and our suite was next to a stairwell, but the teens kept opening the door to the fire escape and letting the door slam almost every 10 minutes. We didn't get any sleep at all. I called the front desk, and they had to get security to come until anything was done. Finally, they were quiet for a few hours after that, but as soon as security left they started again for the rest of the night. I was never asked in the morning how our stay was, and I'm shocked that none of the staff there really noticed how much noise there was all night.

Bridget was very nice and helpful. She checked in on me via text within 10 minutes of checking in. The room was clean and very modern - no issues with my pets in the unit. It was small like others have said but there was so much storage. Unit was super clean and the price was excellent. Couldn't ask for anything more!

The only saving grace, given the situation, is the staff. They are very lovely.

Nice clean rooms. Nothing overly fancy, just what we needed for the price. Dog-friendly as well, which was what led us here. The complimentary breakfast hit the spot!

Cheap, but far past its prime hotel. Friendly staff, but renovations are definitely in order.

Advertised breakfast not available due to Covid, replacement not a substitute in the least, additional options not made known without insisting/complaining. Beverages only available during morning hours.
Would only recommend staying here if you re on a tight budget, or for single nights. Almost none of the amenities as advertised are available at the moment, and not a lot of effort is done to make up.

They turned my family away at 830pm and refused to honor our reservation cause they have chosen to not accept guest that are not fully vaccinated: (my husband is fully vaccinated because he is in military but my 9mth old daughter and I are not. So we stayed at Howard Johnson.

Carpet was incredibly stained and dirty, room smelled, washroom had cracking silicone and loose fixtures. Paid 180$ (after fees) for a room worth maybe 80$
Have stayed here previously (couple years ago) and it was dated but clean at the time and a fair price. Would have recommended, unfortunately that is no longer the case.

Didn’t like the way I was treated when I went there.they act like your a burden to them or something and that male receptionist is so entitled and conceited. I’d like to see him talk to me like that outside of the hotel not hiding behind a desk! Get your staff in order

Value has dropped drastically, poor cleaning of the rooms, the beds are so scruffled, the cleaners don't know what they are doing and the rooms really smell so bad.

I have tried to call numerous times to let them know I am.going to be late as I am driving from Saskatchewan and they keep hanging up and now have blocked me from calling. I am an old person and do not have time to sit on the side of the road to let them know I will be late after I already paid and booked my room.

Let's just say my mother told me if you can't say anything good don't say anything at all. Let's just say I went across the street and had a much better stay
