Cummings Small Engine Service

My snowblower needed servicing. Mark the owner, picked it up from my home in the evening, he must work 24/7 to keep his customers happy.
Got a call the next day with the recommended service, which was very fair and advice for a cheap fix for a wear item.
I have always received great service and advice from CSES. I highly recommend them.

Crazy. I looked for a cable for my snow blower EVERYWHERE. I couldn't find it anywhere in Winnipeg or WWW sites that didn't charge 4x money for shipping. So, on the recommendation of a friend, I drove 1/2 across Winnipeg and low and behold in stock and great price.

Recently used their help and guidance. They helped me by servicing an off brand that they normally do not deal with. It turned out to be something simple to fix. They explained the repair (and showed me) and.came in under their quote.
I believe it is all about timing with a shop of this nature. I caught them at a lull in between seasons and repairs.
Very happy with the service.

I just wanted to hop on the comments to commend the customer service at Cummings. I walked in this morning looking for a couple of older bolts for a Toro snowblower and the manager found what I needed after some looking. Very professional. Thanks very much Cummings. I would recommend you to anyone.

Took a trip across town for me but they had the carb kit needed in stock and have been very helpful for other parts in the past.

Returned most of my emails by the next day which was a great help as well.

Zero! Worst customer service we've ever experienced. My partner couldn't even make it through the front door before being scolded by the sales man outside for looking at snow blowers that were on display. My partner was repeatedly and aggressively asked "what do you want, these aren't for sale, I see you staring at us, what do you want". My partner was patiently waiting to be assisted, while the sale man chatted with someone else.
Disgusting that the salesman treated a potential customer with such disgrace. I hate to say that racial discrimination or plain racism may have played into the attitude of this individual. Needless to say we will never purchase equipment from this company.

A special thanks to the owner who took the time away from his desk to personally deliver my Ariens 24” SHO the same day it came in. Much appreciated. This place is one of the must bad place to take a lawnmower. I bought my lawnmower last year and this year when I used it don’t sounds good and I took it this place they said it take two weeks to look after. I said okey they took a look my lawnmower and they said engine problem they charge me
Almost 40 dollars and take out all the parts of my lawnmower and put in the box and he said take it. It doesn’t work. If you want to reassemble the need another 70 dollars. I took my lawnmower with out any parts. Parts are in the box. I don’t know they might take out good parts and tel me like that. Please don’t take your lawnmowers in this place.

Unable to speak with anyone message says unable to connect please try again. Ordered parts from alternate vendor in Calgary delivery 2 days.

Ordered a fuel tank came in about a week. If you go there for parts it helps if you come with the part number

They’ve been very good to deal with last couple of years (excellent in fact) but sadly one staff member is retiring and a ‘replacement’ leaves a lot to be desired when it comes to maturity and professional dealing with the customer! Last time i was in this staff member’s temper tantrum was shocking and has pretty much left me
looking elsewhere for future mower repairs sadly.

Best service in winnipeg, wouldn't go anywhere else for work done. Efficient extremely friendly and nice people there. No other place compares, and are fair for the dollar

I needed an ignition switch for my lawn tractor and emailed Mark. He responded quickly and told me they would have some in this week. I got a call Tuesday and when I picked it up, I was surprised that the price was lower than what I found online.and I didn't pay any shipping charges. Great place.

Service is good I've bought several Husqvarna products here and they have served me well. Earlier I had complained about getting a product cheaper somewhere else but upon further investigation the products were slightly different model grades, so it was an apples to oranges comparison. So my updated post has no complaints. As the service provided is solid and the products are good.

No nonsense kinda place. They fix what needs to be. Also if your looking for new equipment they always have deals

Great service at decent prices. Experienced and knowledgeable staff all around. As one reviewer mentioned, they often go above and beyond what one would expect to ensure things are done right and get your equipment back to you in a reasonable time frame.
Over the years I've relied on Cummings from some of the basics to more 'tricky' repairs, and they've always come through. Post sale service and support on equipment purchases is excellent, highly recommend!

I have been dealing with them for years and find them to be very knowledgeable with a well stocked parts department.

As I was waiting in line I didn't have the right model number for the machine as I brought in the cover thought they could cross reference he said oh im sorry we have tons of people in line when there was two
people behind me I then decided to get the right part number sent to me and proceed to to deal with them again but this time with a younger guy very unprofessional acting like I was completely stupid about a starter and a battery then didn't tell me a price of anything I had to ask and ask if there was warranty etc I was two seconds away from leaving everything there! If I didn't live out of town I would of went somewhere else in a heart beat i get its a tough time for everyone but have some customers service

I ordered over the phone. Got exactly the parts I needed and they were promptly mailed out to me. Excellent customer service

Great repair service for my Husquvarna Chainsaw.

After that repair I bought a Husquvarna leaf blower that I love using at the cottage.

Very helpful and knowledgeable. Competitive pricing too. They have gone above and beyond for me on a few occasions and I am very grateful for their service

Poor customer service, charged full estimate cost on one machine while another was up for hundreds of dollars of work, rude call to pick up when we'd waited three weeks to even hear back on the work.

I didn't kick their puppy.

I'll be looking for another small engine repair place.

Most of the time they have what I want. If they don't have the part I need they will get it or they will help me organize an equivalent.
