Dairy Queen Grill & Chill

Ordered an ice cream cake online. Was busy when I went to pick it up, but would not be fair to complain about that. The cake was awesome.

Decided to stop by and try the new Caramel cheesecake blizzard, was disappointed when I arrived and they were out of cheesecake but I did order another kind of blizzard since I was already there. I guess I haven't gotten one in a while because I was shocked by the price, almost $10 for a medium is insanity to me! To top it off the blizzard was super melted when they handed it to me, almost like their soft serve was too soft, and there was hardly any toppings added. Just overall not the best experience.

Food was cold, service couldn't understand the person inside. Repeated our order 4 times. Went through the drive through.

Dine-in excellent service, friendly staff. Surprised to see the kids play area is still there, kids love it.

I was pleasantly surprised by DQ in Stienback on my recent visit there.
Keeping in mind that this is a fast food restaurant famous for ice cream, I ordered a hamburger to see how it compares to other restaurants in this category.
Firstly, the service at the till was polite and efficient. The price for a regular cheeseburger was reasonable at $5.29 and included a drink.
I received my number (I was dining in) and cup (for a beverage) and was sent on my way to find a seat.
The decor is a slight step above the competitors. Complete with a child’s play area and two tv screens for the adults.
My burger arrived very quickly, which tells me that they are precooked just like the competition, and tasted quite good.
Care was taken to ensure all the toppings were spread over the whole burger. Not like some of the competitors, whose staff often seem to slap a meagre amount of toppings on one side of the patty, or put way too much on. It’s seems that they really don’t care.
During this visit (at least) it seemed they (DQ) DO care.
I am pleased to say DQ does more than just ice cream well.
I shall be back.

Absolutely amazing cake decoration here. Second year in a row that we ordered a birthday cake with a custom design on top. (Last year, half chocolate/half vanilla, this year, Oreo blizzard - different design on top both times). Cake looked absolutely amazing - and obviously tasted fantastic too. Also, staff was super friendly and accommodating. I cannot say enough how happy I was with the whole experience.

Used to love this place. The new beef patties taste like generic frozen patties from a typical grocery store. Very bland and rubbery. Super disappointed.

I work next door and I came in to get some ice cream. The power went out for a few minutes and Zander and Olivia did an amazing job carrying the team through the unexpected outage. When I got to the counter, Nicole had stopped serving customers at the till and left even with a line of customers. Olivia who was making lots of blizzards, sundaes, and slushes came to serve me even though there was so much on her plate. Olivia and Zander remained calm during the rush and I was very impressed with them. Great job Zander and Olivia!

My order was taken as a sit inside customer. There was about 15 people behind me. There was other blizzards sitting on the counter melting. The other people got there orders before me and when I got my food it was in a bag. Burger was cold. And had to ask for a drink cup. My blizzard was like drinking a half melted shake.
Inside temperature was perfect. Not to cold and not warm just perfect.

This Dairy Queen is almost comical in how much of a gong show it is every time I go. They don’t have the same deals that all the others do in Winnipeg. Their service is insane. I just came back from a Blizzard run. They left the microphone on in the drive-thru, confused our orders, they left the window open and asked if they made the right blizzard to each other and then shrugged and passed them to us. They were both wrong, and weren’t blended. I showed them my Dairy Queen app, and the girl responded “no thanks, not right now”? This was hilarious as I couldn’t even guess what she thought I was showing her? They then took my card for tap and closed the window on us without saying bye or offering a receipt. I may be from Winnipeg but this service standards is insane. Check the picture for their Chocolate Xtreme they made us:)

So nice to have the play centre open for kids. Not too busy today so not full of children. A few spoonfuls of the children's-sized blizzard in between play. Still yummy as ever!

Customer service is absolutely amazing! I ordered a cake that was accidentally missed so it was not ready upon pickup. Mistakes happen and you can’t control when they happen but what you can control is how the mistake is handled and they went above and beyond! Also, the food was hot and fresh and cake was fantastic! 10/10 recommend supporting this local business! They sincerely care about their customers.

Horrible experience. Waited 20 minutes in the drive thru just to get melted blizzards. If I'm paying that much money for ice cream, I'd expect to get solid ice cream. I won't be going back to this location

The girl at the counter today a 9pm was very rude and couldn’t punch in my order properly. She had a very bad mean attitude so I just said I’ll go somewhere else because she was yelling at me saying I ordered hamburgers so I couldn’t get the 2 for $5.50 which I didn’t I ordered cheeseburgers. Why couldn’t she just ask me if I had ordered hamburgers instead of being rude to me? I don’t mind when people punch it in wrong or heard something wrong but to be mean to me is not ok. Won’t be back for food.

I never make a bad review but this Dairy Queen was not a good experience the ice cream was melted and after asking it to be remade it was still melted. Also ordered chicken and fries. The fries were cold and the chicken you could tell was old.

10 minutes before closing they tell me on the window that i would have to come inside if i wanted to order something.i go inside, wanted some twist icecream, and they tell me that they cleaned the machine already.so they couldn't give me anythink.november 10th 2021.i love the icecrwam from DQ, but customer support is nothing i was expecting

Great place for a blizzard! They always make my turtles fudge pecan Blizzard perfect. So good job keep it up.

The fries are super good but the burgers from Mc Donald are better then DQ and DQ Takes for ever.

Usual fast food fare. Staff are super busy and often errors are made. Frozen cakes are really good.

If your a burger kind of person you must try Dairy Queens selection. They are awesome and of course their ice cream is second to none. Staff is friendly.

Ice cream at dairy Queen Steinbach location has been consistently melted and dripping off the edge of the cup. Doesn't seem to matter if it's a blizzard or a sundae. I think steinbach location is trying to save money on refrigeration costs. Dairy Queen Winnipeg location, serves their blizzards and sundaes cold. As in- not liquid.

Excellent food both hot and cold! Chicken fingers are great. A great place to hang out with friends.

Excellent customer service at the Steinbach DQ. Brad took extra special care of us today with our large group order and personally brought our meals outside for us to enjoy on the lovely patio. Thank you very much!

We were getting a “just cause” cake for my sister and asked the drive thru girls to write whatever they wanted on the cake. They did not disappoint and she came out with the cutest, funniest, most light hearted cake and we could not be more happy. Had a good laugh! Thanks ladies

Decent prices and good food. I would like to see online ordering available at this location, but other than that I have no complaints.

Would give 0 stars but it's not an option. This USED to be a friendly place for people with allergies. Now it is not. This location as rude managers who yell across the store to tell you that what you ordered cannot be made safe for your allergy. It is a new change and it is not posted so you order/pay and then they tell you they can't make it. So much for the 1 family friendly place close by to offer allergy friendly ice cream treats.

It's Dairy Queen. Not much more to say. Service at this location has always been good. Food is consistent and I love the $7 meal deal! Won't find better food for even close to that price!
