What a great place to eat. We were a group of about 20 people, and I ordered salmon crostini and kale salad. They were both so delicious.

Went during the lunch service hours and ordered the Shrimp & Avocado open sandwich, Salad rolls and Espresso martini. Everything was good!

Delicious food at reasonable prices.
Waitress was lovely and attentive.
LBJ 1919 on tap: heavenly!

One of the best places I've tried in Winnipeg. The food is full of flavours to be discovered in your mouth. What a gem! Elisa was so kind and attentive. First time coming to this restaurant and certainly not my last!

The Ebi-Thing burger is insane! Would highly recommend this place to family and friends. Great staff, vibes and good times all around

WORST SERVICE IVE EVER HAD. Got our 1st drink and starter food within 15mins. Then Placed our main food order. About 30mins after we get asked if we'd like a 2nd drink, we say sure we'll also get an order of tacos. Another 30mins pass and we finally get our drink and tacos. Get asked "if there was anything else she could get us" we said our main food? She replies with "oh you didn't get that yet? " We sat at a table literally for over 50 mins, no drink no food before we got checked on. They weren't busy and the table of 8 coworkers were getting helped perfectly fine.a total of 1hr and 10mins all we got was a shareable starter and 2 drinks.

I tried the salmon crostini and the scallop spaghettini. The spaghettini arrived before my starter so I sent it back and asked for my starter. The starter was ok but I couldn't help but think crostini should have some crispiness. My main was returned to me after having only a couple of bites of my starter. I think that misunderstanding was forgiveable but it did alter the experience in a negative way. My partner was left without a beverage for a good half an hour before our server noticed and remedied that. My main dish was ok. The flavour was good, but the noodles were over done (possibly because they sat under a heat lamp, but I don't know for sure). The scallops were very small with no obvious sear. The person who appeared to be the manager asked how everything was and I voiced my thoughts and he said he would look into it, but we never saw him again. Overall I do wish we had gone somewhere else.

Good luck picking from menu! Everything our table had was great. Sushi, pasta, salad, etc. Great choices and most items have their own unique flair.but I hear the straight up burger is pretty good as well! Thoughtful cocktail menu too boot.

Server was rude. Overpriced for what it is. Go somewhere else like Earls. Saw our waitress once the entire visit just to take our payment. Other workers served us better bringing our food and refilling our drinks.

We have wanting to try this restaurant for awhile now & I have to say it was worth the wait. Everyone at our table loved the food. There was no problem in accomodating some food sensitivities and the service was great. We will definitely be back and we also recommend to our friends!

Went here and tried a few appetizers. The salmon crostini app was by far the best thing I ate here. The fish tasted extremely fresh. The truffle pasta was a bit overpowering and oily with the amount of truffle added.

Lovely restaurant. I went to the damecca lounge during fried chicken week. The sandwich was good but it was not spectacular. It did not come with fries and it was needed especially if you are paying $20 for a sandwich. Server was okay but not spectacular. Would go back again because they had menu items that held promise.

Exceptional service! They always go above and beyond for their customers ensuring even those with dietary restrictions can enjoy their food. The staff was very welcoming and friendly and the food was delicious! 12/10 recommend

This is our first time here. We heard it was good food and great atmosphere. When we got there it will filled with people. Had a DJ and even a disco in the washroom. The waitress Josie was fantastic. The owner ‘Nam’ came to introduce himself and ask how we were enjoying. The extra personal service was what sold me and it didn’t hurt that Nam was very easy on the eyes with a charismatic personality and amazing smile. We wish you all the success Nam. Amazing food and super friendly servers. Really loved the relaxed vibe of the place. Had the mushroom pappardelle and soy garlic (kpop) wings and they were all really good! The earl grey creme brulee is to die for!

We went pretty late in the evening and it wasn't super busy, got seated quickly. It was during their happy hour which was nice, plus Thursdays are half off wings. Really tasty food, good service and really good portion sizes. Definitely would come back!

This place is great! The food has some twist, big portions and so delicious. The staff are really friendly and knowledgeable. Highly recommended!

I 100% recommend the koren wings, and their sushi. Both had such flavour i couldn't put it down. As for the noodle bowl, not super impressed, the best park about it were the shrimp balls, now those were delicious! They're still a new restaurant and will yet have a dessert menu as well as beverage, which i am excited to see!

The food, GREAT! We love the truffle pasta, my son loves it very much! Poke is really tasty and the chicken wings Damecca. Sushis are superb. Great service! Very friendly staff! It was our second time dining here and it never disappoints us, in terms of food and service. And i'd like to add that the restaurant is clean so much room for stroller for babies, and their washroom is clean and cool.

Service, atmosphere, and food are consistently great every time I've been there. Great vegan and vegetarian options. The mushroom truffle pappardelle is literally what dreams are made of.

Too expensive for the quality. Food looked really good, they did fantastic on the presentation but unfortunately it really lacked when it came to the quality. Everything just tasted meh.
I had their torched press salmon roll and it was just mediocre. They put too much of the sauce on top that it masked the torch taste. Their scallop XO spaghetinni was also disappointing especially because it was $33. I expected at least 3 big scallops for that price.

Our server was really nice and the women's bathroom was awesome but I'm not planning to come back unless they improve their quality and price their dishes accordingly.

My girlfriend and I came here for dinner a couple of weeks ago and we had a fabulous experience. The staff were so knowledgeable and welcoming, especially our server PJ and the supervisor Darlene. The food was superb and my girlfriend was especially excited to see that they had several vegan options, including vegan honey dill sauce which she keeps raving about. We will definitely be going back soon!

Great food and service! Our server Camryn was great! Nam the owner even took the time to stop by our table to see how everything was. Enjoyed the sushi tower, fish tacos, sliders and our fave truffle fries! A great new Winnipeg spot to nosh.

Had a wonderful experience. Our waiter, PJ was so kind and went along with my parents lame jokes. The food was magnificent! Definietly would want to come again.

We went there for a dinner and it was surprisingly really good! The staff was nice and I also like the vibe. We had some truffle pasta, soft shell crab sushi tower, and chicken tacos and they were all tasty. My favorite was the pasta and soft shell crab. Highly recommended!

I've gone to Damecca multiple times now. Management is extremely friendly and the kitchen definitely know what they're sending out! Camryn has served us most of the times and she's great at asking the right questions and then suggesting the right dishes! Thank you, I will definitely keep coming back!

The food was okay but for the price point it wasn't really worth it. We had the sushi tower with the softshell crab. The crab was deep fried but it was a little burnt. The sushi tower had an off taste that they said was because of torching the top however it tasted more burnt than smokey as they claimed. We only are about 1/3 of the meal but we had to pay for the full price. We also had the scallops with spaghetti which was decent and we have no complaints about that. Service was decent and they tried to accomodate us as best they could.

Edit: There likely won't be a next time going back to this place. Also it's not the torched flavor that's the issue it's that it tasted more burnt than smokey

Had dinner at Damecca. Food and service are superb! Though it's my 2nd time to eat here, they never failed to surprise me with their amazing food. I always try something new on the menu and I always have new fave. (Lol everything on the menu i guess) New fave last night "XO spag + Cam's drink" (highly recommended). Overall date last night was perfect. Thanks to our server Rachel who's service is exceptional. She's really fun! Appreciate the chefs (eric and philip) who dropped by our table to make sure we're enjoying our food too. Will surely come back to try more!

I don't usually give reviews but here we go:

Food is ok (not even), not worth the price. At first, it was ok coz I was thinking maybe its pricey coz food is really good. But its not. Some of us are halfway done with the food and my friend's order just arrived (10mins later). They messed up our steak - medium rare became well done - had to wait again. Their sushi is mostly rice - cant even taste the other stuff in it lol. It was so hard to get water refill in this place, we had to ask couple time to get our first refill. There wasn't enough space for the 10 of us. They have small servings but in a big plates/bowls (cool). Server had an attitude and didn't know who ordered what, even though she had a specific way of taking our order (?) Didnt even ask how's our food. I even gave a tip (forced). Should have went to Earls, have better setting. People just hyped this place up.

Me and my bf went there for the first time because I have heard a lot of good things about Damecca, and I’m so glad we did. We had ivanna for our waitress and she was great and so friendly and fast. The food was 10/10. AMAZING!

First off, I want to thank the owner and the staff for their exceptional service and in helping making my girlfriend's birthday special! Thanks to our servers Rachel and Camryn (I apologize if I spelled the names incorrectly). They did a great job with our table making our experience even more worth it. Special thanks to Rachel, who I've been talking to while planning things out and thanks for going above and beyond in order to help make this night happen and making the process so much easier!

Their food was quite good and they have a variety of menu options to choose from! Great service and a great place to chill due to the ambiance of the place. So, if you are trying to host a party, this is the place to go! If you're trying to have a nice, chill night, go hang out here if you're close to Polo! PS, they do have drinks so you could have a nice outing with your friends

One of my besties asked if I wanted to try this new restaurant and showed me their instagram. They did NOT disappoint. We shared the portabella tenders and I ordered the Mushroom Truffle Pappardelle with chicken. It was absolutely delicious! They have such a wide variety of flavours that I hadn't tried before.
Will definitely be bringing friends back here! Plus PJ or TJ (sorry it was hard to hear and our bill said Patrick?) was awesome!

Came in today and had a great experience. Customer service was excellent and was assisted by a server named PJ who was very cool about everything. One of the co-owners, Eric, also made sure that the food was perfect, which it was; 10/10. Overall, I wouldn't hesitate to go back again.

This Jamaican boy coming on Sunday, hearing rave reviews. I heard this spot is one of the wonders of the new world.

An amazing place to host birthdays! Staff had exceptional service and was very accommodating for having us bring a cake, adding more chairs for extra guests, and ensuring that planning an event would be as smooth as possible.

Kam and Victora offered to make any drink I wanted even though it was not on the menu in which I ordered a Pina Colada. Definitely worth adding to the menu!

If anyone is looking for a place to host with fusion food for everyone, Demecca is in the name. It's Demecca!

Waited an hour for our food and was asked to move to another table due to their error with another tables reservations. We weren’t given anything complementary just a lot of sorries. Most likely Never coming back.

The owner has reached out to me to resolve my negative experience and as set things straight. I have to say this is the only place that has changed my mind from never coming back, to actually recommending this place to my friends.

I met the owner today, I received an apology about my past experience, and everything felt sincere. Today the food was fantastic, and the food was ready upon arrival, the process to get this resolved was easy, and I never felt "left hanging"

The customer service from this place is outstanding. And I'll be coming back again for sure

Everyone was very nice and professional, we somewhat of a larger party but I understand it gets busy and a little hectic, but I ended up waiting two hrs for my steak, only for it to be served cold. My mothers meal was incorrect twice, my brothers meal was also incorrect, I was one of the firsts ones to order but very last to receive my meal. First visit there and I'm never going back sadly. I did voice my disappointment in my cold meal, but didn't get compensated for anything, and no real offer was made by the server. Oh well

Stumbled upon this little gem last night. My daughter had sushi and salad, I had the cajun sliders, and we shared truffle fries. My mouth is watering just thinking about it!
Only downfall is that they have gotten their liquor licence yet. A pinot grigio would have been the perfect touch. They should have their licence any day now, so we will be going back soon!

New must try restaurant in Winnipeg, modern asian fusion dishes that brings a different taste to the Winnipeg food scene. Ambiance and the music was a really good vibe. Overall service was great, very friendly staff.

Would recommend going in a group so you can try a variety of dishes as they were all amazing. Personal favourites would be the cured salmon in truffle yuzu dressing and the mushroom truffle pappardelle. Absolutely a must order.

PJ served us. He is a friendly and knowledgeable server who helped us with the menu choices. We ordered the the truffle fries, calamari and sushi tower. Overall a great experience and we hope to return soon!

Went in with my fiance today. To be completely honest i wasn't expecting much but i was blown away. The food was amazing and original. My fiance said it was probably one of the best in Winnipeg, but also the service was incredible for a new restaurant! Our server, a Spanish girl, spoke highly of about the owner, Nam who is only in his 20s! Incredible! She says he is very passionate about the quality of food that is served at Damecca, and it shows! After tonight i will for sure be telling my friends about this gem!

We had the calamari, truffle fries, dynamite roll, kale Caesar salad, and the Vietnamese noodle bowl. All great dishes, great atmosphere!
