I've been bridal dress shopping countless times with lots of people. Always a bridesmaid never a bride they say right? Traveled from far out of town to meet my girlfriend to dress shop for her special day at David's Bridal. The stylist she had booked with was AMAZING. I unfortunatly dont remember her name, but if shes able to read this review, she will know who she is. She was so kind, helpful, friendly and so knowledgable. My girlfriend tried on 5 dresses and found the one. It wasn't even one she would ever have picked for herself, and was a completely different style than she had her mind set on. This stylist knocked it out of the park. The dress is so beautiful and so unique with the black lace detail. We cancelled her future other bridal store appointments right there in the store. Not only did she find her dress, the one on the rack was her exact size, fit her like it was made for her, and she was able to purchase it and leave the store with it that very day. I have never seen anything like that ever happen, I was mind blown. I still am. She also purchased her veil and a belt (both of which she also did not have in mind) and the stylist just paired them perfectly for her. My girlfriend has alot of anxiety surrounding this wedding and this just lifted so much stress and tension off of her. Unreal. What an absolute gem of an employee you have. 10/10 will be recommending this as the first and only stop for anyone and everyone. Hopefully for myself as well one day. Thank you David's Bridal!

I came in with a bunch of other bridesmaids and our bride looking for bridesmaid dresses. Rosie was very attentive and kind. I felt comfortable the entire time and ended up ordering in the perfect dress!

Had an appointment to try on wedding dresses, the store was PACKED. Staff were very friendly and accommodating which was great, but there were so many people in the dressing room area, my group hardly had anywhere to sit. Not as much selection as I thought there would be. It was very overwhelming with how busy it was, I felt like there was no point of even making the appointment.

My experience was okay, the lady who helped me was a very kind human I'm sure. However. The store was so absolutely packed even when I was pre booked for a week or two, I was having to shuffle around in a very tight end corner where everyone would walk in, my bridesmaid didn't have a seat for most of the appointment after the girl who was working with me took on another appointment and the girls took up the whole spot, when I found the dress I liked I felt super super pushed to sat yes RIGHT THAT MOMENT. When I called back a week later I asked about payment, and was told I would need to produce 2k+ on the spot to have the dress ordered. I was super leary about that and I called every other bridal salon in winnipeg including stellas, LA, chantels, and bliss and none of them required a FULL payment on the spot. And the other bridal salons were SHOCKED at the fact I was asked to pay that much to order a dress.
I appreciate alex as a human being, however a quick Google search will tell you davids bridal as a whole is not doing so well.and dropping 2k+ right away could have been a risky risky move. So I won't be saying yes to the dress at davids bridal.

I planned a J. O. P wedding and was not initially going to go all out on my gown. I went maybe 6 weeks before my day (maybe 5) and not only did I find the perfect wedding dress, I got all my jewlerry, shoes, and tiara here. I also got my maid of honors dress and mother of the bride dress.
Each time we went, the staff were helpful and kind. Even when the store is busy the service remained top notch. They help with everything, are honest and kind, they create a great atmosphere esp for a bride with a short engagement.

I did not purchase my dress here but came in to have alterations done on my dress and all I can say is WOW! The staff and seamstresses were nothing but amazing! My dress looks beautiful and can’t wait to wear it on my wedding day. I highly recommend David’s bridal for alterations!

Alanna was very helpful! The sizing up was a little off at first but once we found the correct size it was fine! She picked a lot of dresses that I liked. Understood and respected my budget which I really appreciated! She was very patient with me trying on and retrying on dresses, even when it got close to closing time. Helped with jewelry and shape wear. Also very good at hyping me up when I wasnt sure about something. As someone who doesnt always feel confident being curvy and shopping out of my comfort zone (that being jeans baggy sweaters and slippers) I had a lot of fun and didnt feel like a bother. Had a really good experience. <3

I went to many places to find my grad dress for my grade 12 grad and the first place I went was David’s Bridal and fell in love with a gold fitted dress, then came back and realized that I liked the same dress just in a different colour and everyone was very nice!

I went to David Bridal to look for a wedding dress and ended up buying one. The moment I walked in the door, everyone was so nice. I picked out a few dresses to try on, and every time I walked out Karen was right there to help zip me up, fluff my dress, and give me her honest opinion, which I appreciated.
I was torn between two dresses, I liked something on this dress, and something on the other dress, but wished that it was all in one dress, and then like magic, Karen came around the corner with THE DRESS. I tried it on and fell in love.
I did end up leaving for another dress appointment, but came back and purchased my dress with Karen. I got to do the bell ceremony which was very fun and cute.

Alex was very helpful. Went first time and tried on lots of dresses, was not rushed and was helped a lot. Went second time to be measured and purchase dress. Whole experience was great and felt comfortable the entire time.

We had 2 different appointments in 1 to find bridesmaids dresses and mother dresses. With the amazing selection and our amazing consultant Rosie we were able to find everyone a dress! We really enjoyed the posters of all the dresses at the end of the isles because they have so many dresses it could have been over whleming with out it. Over all an amazing experience!

I had a wonderful experience at David’s Bridal! Karen was my consultant and she was so so wonderful, I would highly recommend her. She was so understanding, accommodating and all around a delight!

I was there on Sunday. Best service I've gotten at a bridal store. Made me feel welcomed. Associates really cared and listened, and asked questions about my style. Would recommend to all brides and bridal parties!

Alex, my first consultant was wonderful! She was so attentive, and had the right eye for my wide, but petite frame. I cried in excitement when I found the one. I didn’t get then dress but kept thinking about it. I went back a second time. This time Charlene was my consultant, she was just as amazing! She made my maid of honour and I feel awesome. My maid of honour ended up finding a dress almost immediately with the help of Charlene. I ended up crying a second time. I am happy to have purchased my dress with David’s Bridal
Update: although I had an awesome experience with the consults, the seamstress was awful! I had a strapless dress. She was not polite and was very persistent on me getting straps, which is not what i wanted. She wouldnt drop the subject so i told her if she makes them detachable, i would get them. She dodnt not make them detachable.
She also molded my cups which is also not what i wanted. It is what she wanted. My dress is ruined. I would have taken the straps off but thr molding of the cup was so ugly shaped i had to keep them on. What a waste of money and type of dress. I dont even want to show my wedding pictures because of the ugly strap dress that was made to be strapless dress.
So… consult and buying dresses here is nice. Just get the alterations somewhere else. My bridesmaids did not enjoy their experience with her either

Had an unsalvageable alteration mishap happen a week before the wedding (alteration was done externally - not through David's bridal) and ventured in to see if it was possible to buy a whole new bridesmaid dress during a layover. Was in an out within 20 minutes with a new dress in my size, with no need for alterations. Justine was very courteous to squeeze me in last minute and Tay was very friendly and professional. Much appreciated ladies.

Nora made my shopping experience absolutely wonderful! My wedding is in 3 weeks, and I had absolutely no idea as to what I wanted. Nora found a dress that fit me so well And that I love!

I just purchased my wedding dress from David's Bridal on Kenaston. I had the most wonderful experience here and my consultant Karen was incredible. She was so kind, patient and helpful. I felt so special the whole time and ended up finding the perfect dress with her help. I can't say enough about how grateful I am to her and also to the manager Charlene for such a great experience. My mom and I came here for my first ever dress appointment. We had Karen as our consultant and she was the most incredible, loving and caring person I have ever met. She made me feel so beautiful. She is truly the best hype woman. The second dress we picked was the one! She was ready with belts, hairpieces and anything else I needed including some amazing advice for my wedding day. She was able to work within my VERY tight timeline and got me into alterations right away. She even booked my alterations to a date that she works so that she could ensure everything would be done correctly. I really wanted to show my grandmother, mil and matron of honour my dress and she booked an extra appointment with me so that I could show it off. I would highly recommend her to every bride. I would also recommend the amazing Team that was working alongside her. They made me feel so special and beautiful. This was an amazing experience and I am so grateful to the entire staff at David's Bridal Kenaston for making it such a special day.

Tonight I chose THE dress and could not be happier. Jennifer made the whole experience, start to finish, so easy & comfortable. She chose the dress I ended up ordering & knew exactly what to suggest for what I was gravitating toward & would feel comfortable in. She felt like a friend helping. My sister is hoping she is still there when she plans her wedding. I can’t wait to be back in a few months to pick up my dress! I was so happy with the alterations that were done on my dress that had to be let out due to COVID lol. Ok due to me, but regardless. The team put on a corset in the back of my dress that made the dress that much prettier! Thanks to the team at David’s in Winnipeg. They truly went over and above.

I've never posted a review like this before, but the ladies at David's did such an amazing job that I thought should. I am fairly indecisive but they were exceedingly patient with me. After two appointments and many hours I finally choose a dress. They then hunted down the right size for me at another store which they ordered for me. Throughout the whole process they were kind, gentle and encouraging despite my indecision. Thank you to David's for helping me find my dream dress!

Fantastic! The consultants where fantastic to my nervous daughter helping her find the perfect dress. She even came to the big window so we could see her face. Thank you again David's bridal team. Even got shoes and matching belt for a terrific price.

I was just there trying on wedding dresses and was so excited this experience left me so disheartened and just overall mad, I was there for an hour and had given her my price range which was not low at all, she proceeded to bring me 5 dresses 2 of which were not the size I said I was she didn’t even try to find anything similar.she spent more time helping two other people and giving them all her attention then to me a bride. I was so unbelievably mad. I thought she was there to help me but didn’t at all.my maid of honour ended up doing up my dresses and fixing the trains because the consultant was no where to be found. I will not be recommending them to ANYONE!

I can't say enough good things about David's Bridal. They made shopping for a wedding dress stress free and had great insight to what I wanted. Even during a pandemic, they made it a great experience! Alex was my stylist, and she was absolutely fantastic! She's very creative and gave great suggestions on what would go well with my dress! The other stylists were also a great help; even though they weren't "my stylist, " they accommodated in anyway they could. Overall it was an amazing experience, and I found THE dress I love!

Here you will find the most amazing, companionate and caring people who will make sure that you feel like the most important bride in the world. Today, I walked out of David's Brudal feeling like a real bride ready for my special day. My consultant (Nora) treated me with kindness and paid attention to my needs. I know it was a team effort and I thank the team at David's!

This was Aliza (my fiance) and my first time going to the place, we didnt know it needed reservation to be there. But the greeters were very friendly and assisted us instantly! They even helped us with their stylist, Chantelle. She was very friendly, informative and provided exceptional service for Aliza to pick out the Wedding gown. Wish there was a tip option for the stylist! Chantelle deserves a raise!

Despite the pandemic rules in place; my 1 hour long appointment was the perfect amount of time for them to help me find my dress and at a great price!

If there was an option for zero stars instead of 1 that's what I would give them. Wife tried on bridesmaid dresses, chose a dress and was measured. When the dress came in it was absolutely nowhere near the size of the one that fit perfect when trying them on. Then they tell you that any alterations cost money. What kind of god awful service is that? Are they purposely making it so that people have to pay extra for alterations? That's fraud as far as I'm concerned. Shop elsewhere I'm sure you will have better service.

I took my daughter to David's Bridal to look for a grad dress. Crystalle attended to us and was awesome. We ended up leaving and then coming back at the end of the day, at which point she squeezed us in and willingly stayed late to help us make sure we got exactly what we wanted. Great service!

I booked with Davids Bridal so my bridesmaids could find nice but affordable dresses to wear at our wedding. Gulia was our sales associate and she was AMAZING! She went above and beyond for my bridesmaids and was so patient with us, and not at all pushy. She was so lovely to work with!

I got married this past spring and David's Bridal was the first bridal shop I went to. When I first got there, the staff was nice. They got me a fitting room and got me to find some dresses to try on and it went downhill after that. The lady who was supposed to be helping me, was also helping another lady at the time, which was fine, but after I got in the fitting room she pretty much ignored me. The other bride and myself were the only customers in the store but no one came to help me while my consultant ignored me. As soon as the other bride left (after a long time of me standing there, waiting to be helped) the consultant finally came to "help" me again. This consultant was SO pushy and tried to sell me every dress I tried on, even when I obviously disliked it.

When I finally found a dress that I liked quite a lot, she was so pushy and made me feel like I had to buy it right that minute. I did decide to buy it, because liked it quite a lot, I just wanted to time to think about it, as it would be the most important dress of my life. She then measured me and told me I measured to a size 1. (which is what I wear with most clothes) I didn't look at what number she actually wrote down, but when the ordered dress arrived it was almost as big as the one that I had tried on the first time around, which was a size 8! There is no way the dress she ordered was a size 1!

So then I had to get almost $800 worth of alterations! I had to have 2 appointments for alterations because they didn't get it right the first time around and after the second appointment they had made the waist too tight but I didn't have time to get it loosened and ended up having to wear a SUPER tight dress all day on my wedding!

I ended up with a dress but it was a horrible experience overall. I do not recommend David's Bridal to any Brides.

They were so helpful in finding not only my wedding dress but the bridesmaids dresses and the mother of the bride dress as well. They were attentive to everyone in the party and and handled everything with great professionalism.

I had Karen who had helped me find my dress! She was super kind &helpful! I have had a lot of friends &family that has been to David’s and have never been disappointed and they don’t lie David’s bridal has such amazing kind staff! Thank you again for helping!

I went to David’s Bridal in Winnipeg on Kenaston and had the most amazing experience! I went there with my wedding being only 4 months away so it was very rushed. At this point I had already been to multiple other stores and had a favourite in mind and did not think I would select anything. Karen was our consultant and she quickly changed that. It had been a long day so we did not pull many dresses but she sure did. Karen listened to exactly what I said I wanted and pulled the most amazing dress for me which I ended up saying yes to! She was so polite, kind, I did not feel pressure to buy, she allowed my family and I time to discuss alone and most of all she followed the COVID rules which allowed us a very safe and pleasant experience. Not only did Karen find my dream dress, but she also found my maid of honours and my mother’s! Karen is absolutely amazing at what she does and I can’t say enough good things about her. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!

I went to David’s bridal to find my wedding dress. Alex was the sales consultant I was working with. She was awesome! And better yet, I said yes to the dress!

My fiancée and I went went wedding dress shopping this year and had two negative experiences with other bridal stores in Winnipeg. Then Kerri thought we should go outside of our zone into South Winnipeg and try David's Bridal.
We were greeted by a young woman (Chrystalle - if I'm spelling it correctly) who was perfect. She helped with suggestions but gave us space to talk. Most importantly, she wasn't concerned how much we were spending, just that we were happy with the dress. And we were! It was perfect for our wedding plans.
I just wanted you to know Chrystalle how wonderful you were. You made the stressful experience a pleasure.

We had an amazing experience at David’s Bridal in Winnipeg! Our consultant Karen was extremely helpful, kind and accommodating, as the wedding we were there for was in a few short months and we weren’t able to travel back to the city again for alterations. She was able to pull dresses that we never would have chosen off the hanger to try on, and our group ended up buying the 3 dresses that she found for the bride, bridesmaid and mother of the bride. The bell ceremony was also a very sweet touch at the end of the appointment. Would 100% recommend going to see Karen at David’s Bridal!

Went there to find a grad dress and did not disappoint. Tried on a few dresses and fell in love with the last one. I had a lovely lady named Karen who helped me find a little extra something to add some sparkle to my dress and gave me heels to try on just to see what it would look like with everything together. I would definitely recommend going here for all things grad. Staff there is lovely and the atmosphere is great.

Chrystalle was amazing! She went above and beyond helping myself as well as my friends! She was very friendly, she made us feel so welcome and she made me feel so beautiful in my dress! She recommended products similar to ones we chose but didn’t love, and we ended up getting one of them! 10/10 customer service! Prices were very good, but customer service takes the cake!
