I went with a group of friends for the spooky forest. It was really fun! They were great. I don't mind paying for the evening. I have to say I was a bit disappointed that they closed the grill before 10. I get it, I suppose. We didn't realize that there was also a charge to sit by the campfire. $25. We didn't know, we didn't have to pay. How gracious of them. I already paid $45 for the venue. Our group also bought food and drinks. I will go back. It's just too bad that they have to charge for every little thing.

Love it! The corn maze is fun, the animals are adorable, and the shop has great local goods.

What a lovely way to spend an afternoon! Children love it especially the baby animals. You can bring outside food to picnic but they also sell food if you want something hot or snacks.

We had a good experience in the farm. The owners and the staffs are very friendly and polite. Great place for kids, adults, and seniors. This place is close to nature and very peaceful. I strongly recommend.

Really had a great time. Best strawberries ever had. Kids enjoyed the tractor ride. Highly recommend. Not too far from city either.

Love this place. Goat yoga is amazing. The sunflower expo is gorgeous. Corn maze so much fun.

As a wedding photographer, Deer Meadow Farms is such a dream to photograph at. The beautiful indoor / outdoor locations to use are all within distance of one another. The ceremony that I photographed was past the sunflower field in a little shaded forest area and it was such a delight to photograph there. Lush greens and great lighting made for wonderful photos. The reception area is well covered and beautifully designed. Overall a wonderful venue to photograph. I cannot wait to be able to shoot here again in the future!

My team from EE Media Productions and I have a wedding here back in 2021. We had such a cool and unique experience here at this wedding venue. The ceremony was held inside the little forest area at the venue and the way we arrived at the ceremony location was through a tractor that carried the entire wedding party and guests to the ceremony. The reception area was also very spacious!

It's a maze. With large circles (outside of the maze, obviously) where you can sit around an open fire, after you're done the maze. It has a bathroom (yay) & you can buy food & drink (double yay) plus.corn.so.

Their $8 Fries.
If the food truck is a separate business, maybe find a better food truck?

What an awesome place for kids. My son loved seeing and petting the animals. Corn maze was very well done as well
12 December 2022 20:11
Friendly staff, great stuff to do, lots to see. Took the kids for the corn maze, they loved it, we stayed for hours, and went home with pumpkins. Will be making this a Halloween tradition!
24 November 2022 15:17
Went to the corn maze and petring zoo. A great set up. Perfect outing for the family and out of town visitors.
21 November 2022 22:50
Always fun at deer meadow! We got season passes and never get bored of it, our favorite part is the petting zoo
19 November 2022 19:19
Very well run and organized! If you're going through the corn maze I'd recommend large rubber boots as the paths are quite muddy and soggy. Forbidden Forest was a fun experience!
15 November 2022 0:37
Went here yesterday with the family. It was $14 per adult and our daughter (16 months) got in for free.

For the price there is a lot to do, you could easily spend half a day exploring in the maze, sunflower field, petting zoo and more.

Our daughter had a blast and the staff were great. We would definitely come back.

This place friendliness is contagious. From entry to farm tour to exit. People here made me feel welcome, relaxed and I am thankful to all the staff especially front desk and tour guides.

Oh don’t forget bug spray! Be ready to be covered in pollen and get your hand dirty. Love this place will revisit. Thank you For SunFest?

My daughter went with her school as a field trip. She very much enjoyed herself and took this photo.
09 August 2022 18:05
My kids went for a field trip we went to help volunteer and we still had to pay a fee even though we were just there to watch kids. Even the price per kid was not worth it. Not that much for kids to do. The only thing the kids liked was the petting zoo!
29 November 2021 22:45
Very overpriced! $15 for adults and $13 for kids and no family discount. Also the pumpkins are expensive, 75 cents per pounds. Normally if a farm has entry fee at least the produce is cheaper than stores. Here both entry and pumpkins are overpriced. I don't think we will be back next year.
29 November 2021 10:24
The forbidden forest was good. However it was closing night, the bathrooms were disgusting and there was no soap or paper towel.was a little upset considering the ticket is $35

We came as an elementary school program. The kids had so much fun and our guide at Amimal Alley was super friendly and full of charm.
14 November 2021 20:58
Took my kids there for a mini bday party Friday at 6 pm as per website. Didn't actually open till 630. Don't recommend going nothing for them to do after 630 at the facility.
10 November 2021 17:54
Awesome for families. Kids loved it. Where else can you get a guided tour through a small forest with tamed deer all around you!
05 November 2021 6:45
Super great place to take the family. You can see and pet so many animals, you can go for a "tractor ride" and see some really unique deer and you can get the kids tuckered out by walking through the corn maze. It has a cute area to have drinks and food and it has a little gift shop with some locally made things to buy.
15 September 2021 6:39
Nice time in a chilly day. Our animal guide Felicia was really nice and then we had a tractor ride to see the deer with Liam. Also bought some farm fresh eggs
05 September 2021 11:06
Wow, very nice place to bring your kids and play with the animals that they see on nursery rhymes. Staff are nice and helpful. Washrooms are always nice and clean. Come in early tho, coz lunch time if too hot for your kids and animals to play with. They will be hiding on the shades. Oohh I forgot they also have a wagon ride and you get to experience close up with the deers. Anyways so much fun on the farm, when the kids are tired you can bring them on the shade they have picnic tables and buy some ice cold lemonade or freezeee they have on the shop.
15 August 2021 5:51
Super fun and kids got a lot of activities to do on top of the petting zoo. We also loved the wagon train which took us to the cute deer.
02 August 2021 3:56
This farm is a one of the best place I ever visited. The animals are super clean and they are so friendly to pet. The staffs here are incredible and good job guys. We will back again

We really enjoyed the tractor ride to visit the fallow deer who appear to have a wonderful life. We also enjoyed the various games and activities that had been laid on.
I was worried about the welfare of the domestic farm animals though. The baby goats had no shelter on what was a sweltering day. The rabbits also had inadequate shelter from the sun and were on artificial grass (not good for their sensitive paws) in pretty barren enclosures. A baby calf only a few weeks old was alone in an enclosure away from other cows including it's mother and was subjected to petting from small children.
It's hard not to believe that their welfare was secondary to the entertainment value they provided.
We were asked to wash our hands and sanitize frequently but nearly all of the dispensers were either empty or almost empty.
I was disappointed overall mainly because I was so concerned about the welfare of the animals especially in a facility that could do so much to educate the public about farm practices and animal welfare.
26 December 2020 3:06
The best of all the farm experiences around Winnipeg. The operation is neat and tidy and well run. The animals are friendly and healthy. The namesake deer meadow was very cool and a big hit with the kids.

Lots to see & quality time requiere to spend with family, friendly staff, great place, it's worth coming!
27 November 2020 4:21
If i could give less than 1 star i would.i went to Deer Meadow Farms specifically to see the rabbits and i was excited for over a week.i have 2 of my own and thought it would be fun to see how other rabbits act.when i finally found the rabbit exhibit, it seemed like a nice little play pen for them.when i looked inside, every single rabbit was in a tiny cage that is NOT meant for a rabbit, every cage was covered in feces and urine, and none of the rabbits had proper watering stations or hay to eat.i am extremely disappointed in what i saw and left immediately while crying.i will not be returning to deer meadow farms and encourage others to research a more animal friendly way to spend time with your family.i do not understand why deer meadow farms has a “rabbit exhibit” when they clearly do not take care of them properly.i wanted to take every single rabbit home.most of the rabbits didn’t even have shelter.still upset about this.

A lot of fun activities and cute animals here. It is totally worth the money! Had a fun day here.:)
20 November 2020 16:48
This was our first visit here. Lots to do and see. Great afternoon outdoors. Corn maze was huge, petting zoo, tire mountain, tractor ride are just a few of things to do. Well worth a visit.
24 November 2019 4:46
So much fun! Lots of touching which is great, couple scraped knees from crawling and fun. This felt more like a fun house but had a blast! Will be coming again next year! Probably the best thing I've been to with physical contact so far although kinda short but it segregates everyone so you cant get behind someone else or fall too behind. Thanks again for the fun!
16 September 2019 0:59
Cute animals but I thought it would of been more to see. Staff was nice but went twice to see the chickens and when we were about to walk away is when a staff said she can let us in.
14 September 2019 14:57
Had an awesome time there. Staff were very friendly and knowledgeable. Great family atmosphere with lots to see and do.
26 June 2019 18:05
We had a really great time here. Took our son, who is almost 2, and we happened to plan to go when they were offering a free breakfast too. Great sausages, really fun to see the goats, lambs, cow, pigs, chickens, rabbits, and also do the tractor ride to see the Deer. Our kid had fun running around and touching the different animals, and it was a nice way to spend a morning. I would recommend checking it out a couple times a year.
04 March 2019 15:17
Wonderful staff were so pleasant and engaging. Interactive, educational, and entertaining. My almost 2 year old son had the time of his life petting all the animals this summer. Thanks for the great day!
04 February 2019 21:33
Went there for the pumpkin patch. Best part was going on the train and seeing the deer. They come right up to you.
16 January 2019 15:58
Such a great place to take your littles! My kid had so much fun petting all the animals and seeing what they eat. Loves storybrooke lane and the pumpkin patch! Great hours!

I went with a group of children, and we've been to many corn mazes over the years with this same group. The Deer Meadow Farms website clearly says in black and white to wear rubber boots or old shoes. Well these children for the most part cannot afford much let alone rubber boots. They were happy enough to get to go. But the first thing to happen when we arrive is our group being approached by someone who seemed to be in charge who then gave us a stern talking-to about not being prepared for the corn maze and that we weren't going to be welcome in any of the buildings because our feet would be muddy. You operate a farm and you're concerned about a little mud in the picnic barn? At 11-13 dollars a head just hire someone who can keep on top of the mud maintenance. Or better yet, do what the other corn mazes seem to be able to do and that's control the muddiness. Other places have figured out that you can lay down hay or wood chips to mitigate the mud because obviously it isn't just Deer Meadow that experiences rain and mud. When you run a business geared towards children, you need to learn how to interact with them and not make them feel bad about not showing up in what you deem to be proper footwear. And just because the price is on par with other mazes, doesn't mean the price is reasonable. Just means they're all taking us for a ride.

First time at deer meadow farms. Lots of fun. Good variety of things to do. Loved petting the animals and seeing the wild deer up close.
15 December 2018 8:49
What a wonderful place to take children. So many activities in addition to the corn maze. Very will laid out and well-maintained infrastructure. Very attentive staff.
01 December 2018 3:31
I had such a great time. Go early and get some farm fresh eggs. Make sure that's the first thing you do if you want some, buy them and put them in your car and then do all the fun stuff. This place is so well organized, the staff are fabulous. They are so accommodating for families with littles and super littles. The corn maze is great, the tractor ride to see the deer was fun, the petting farm was fun. Just a great way to enjoy the day! Go!
22 November 2018 20:02
Afternoons this place was set up to be kid friendly. Be mindful of the conditions as the maze can be slick with mud. It was fun but if you have a little one so not 4xpect to do the whole maze. Evening, they say there is a really good haunted forest. Would go back for that.
18 November 2018 18:50
Great place to visit with kids. Lots of different activities to do with the family and enjoy the great outdoors.
05 November 2018 11:48
Really impressed with the Farm and ongoing upgrades. Great for Families and told by Daycares that it is one of the best places to visit for value of money paid and options provided. Highly recommend.
02 November 2018 14:34
My family had a great time there. I paid $24 for 1 adult and kid 5 years old. I will back again.

What an awesome little spot. My son loves the goats. Staff were friendly and kind. Animals seemed well cared for and happy. Will definitely go again.
