Diana's Cucina Pizza

'Back in the day' when Diana's first opened at this location, I used to purchase their pizzas frequently, and one could say they were possibly the best pizzas in town. However, not anymore.last two times I bought their pizzas, including this Mother's Day, was very disappointed in the quality.
They seem to want to cover the small portions of toppings with under cooked tomatoes on rubbery crusts. Truly not worth the price for what has become a mediocre product.too bad. Look elsewhere for your pizzas folks.

Diana’s is a wonderful experience! Best authentic pizza around! A lovely lady with amazing quick and delicious pizza. Best part is you can buy the dough at Sobey’s and recreate your own at home for easy pizza making! Yum yum yum all around

Food was great. Unfortunately it came 1 hour and 45+ minutes later. Including the appetizers. We had reservations for 8 and other people who came in after us received their orders first. I'm not talking about people who came in a few minutes after us but at least 1/2 hour later. The manager (?)
said it was because of Mother's day but even I know that a sit down restaurant cannot be managed like a take out/pick up place. They are different entities. Food is good, and we know it was not the serving person's fault but this is the second year in a row. Last year, same date, was slightly better so we thought we would give them a second chance but this year was unacceptable. Food was good, order and pick it up or delivery but do not have it in the restaurant.

Best tasting pizza with quality ingredients! Unique combinations and choice of ingredients. I have been going for 10 years and never disapointed

We had a great time in the lounge. The pizza was amazing and service was friendly. Diana’s recipes and quality ingredients will have us coming back!

It's tasty pizza. The ratio of cheese to meat is perfect. But, it's quite greasy, and far too salty. Best pizza in the neighbourhood. But, there's better, less expensive pizza joints in Winnipeg.

Absolutely delicious! Had half Farm Boy and half Michelangelo. Both equally amazing. Definitely will be coming back!

Been going here for years. Been using the frozen Moosehead Pizza balls at home and cottage during COVID.

I am a proud graduate from one of Diana's pizza making classes.

I've noticed a distinct change in quality over the last year. It was our go-to place for awhile, but have lost our taste for it. Lots of other options for pizza, so this one is not recommended.

Always fresh! Always the best service! This is a place that cares about their customers! Def recommend!

The pizza is good. But owner doesn't seem to know that patios are allowed to open for all of the public and so is indoor dining. They rather make a case that freedom are being taken away instead of opening up for unvaccinated and vaccinated people. They are spreading mis information by saying that current restrictions are tighter than they are and is also promoting not getting vaccinated at all.

She was very helpful, humble and explained what kind of pizza I wanted without complicating matters. I am supporting this establishment. We need to stop being against each other

Diana is an amazing woman and the pizza was very good. With the amount of orders she had to tend with, she remained calm and pleasant. I will definitely support her business

Had a couple of specialty pizza's from Diana's this evening for the first time. It was very tasty, with plenty of toppings and very filling. It was crazy busy there tonight due to a show of support to Diana and her business to not discriminate vaccinated vs
non- vaccinated patrons. I respect her decision to not have to be the one to breach peoples personal health informationby by asking them these types of questions. Kudos for respecting the freedom to choose. She and her partner and 2 other staff did an incredible job! We'll be back

Diana the Owner was so very accommodating, very friendly, hospitable, & so caring especially to my family. My kids still rave about her pizza! I wish we could have stayed longer, but the kids had to go sleep time! I highly recommend this place to anyone that just needs a good experience. Come eat here!

I can’t believe I have never left a review here. I’ve been eating these pizzas for years. Very good.
Last night I attended & witnessed the owner & staff deal with a very high stress & difficult evening due to abnormally high demand. Diana & her loyal staff handled this with grace & professionalism that can only be described as outstanding.
Respect.

Ordered from here last minute on a Friday night but didn't know it was close to closing time. Called up and was still able to pick up my order despite the inconvenience. Best Pizza in Town.

Way overrated and far to expensive for what you get. I honestly don’t see the appeal with this place. Winnipeg has far better pizza than this.
Owner seems to be very defensive with reviews. This speaks volumes on the customer service they provide, not overly friendly in person either.

Had their pizza not that long ago wasn't very good for the price paid. Very bland and tasteless. Also found out it's run by right wing conspiracy clowns, you know.the vitamins over vaccine kind. If you're a Canadian who listens to Fox News you'll probably love it there, but that won't change the taste of the food. Maybe they can throw in some extra vitamins or hydroxychloroquine for you. Doing that may change the flavor. I won't be back.

Wasn't happy with my meal or service.

The pork tasted off and set a really bad tone for the rest of the meal. I've come to expect less than fresh ingredients from this place. Unfortunately this was the final nail in the coffin and I won't be returning.

Anyone leaving a negative review purely because of the stance they’ve chosen to take on the current MB restrictions is a clown. Leave reviews about their food & customer service which is always great! Keep up the great work all around.

Ordered a vegan pizza with dill pickle crust. $42 - so I was expecting a really good pizza. There was no real taste, and they must have used a field full of mushrooms.

Went here because of a rave review for the Gluten free pizza. Ordered it, got it home and its honestly tasteless. Asked for extra sauce and i cant taste or even see any. If it was at least cheap i couldve written it off but it was $33. Id rather have gone to a chain at this point.

Some of the most delicious pizza you'll eat, but the price point is too high. It worked out to almost $5 a slice for the large Michalangelo pizza. If the price were a bit more reasonable, I would order it often!

Their Moosehead Crust is absolutely exceptional. They have some competition in the area but I wouldn't hesitate to order again. Has to be the Moosehead Crust!

They may have won an award in 2018. What happened? It hasn't carried through to 2021. The pizza was just so-so. It would have been nice if the toppings were more bontiful. The ham was so thin I could almost see through it. Couldn't even taste it. I will try it again someday.but not in a hurry.

Even though I’ve heard great things about this place, I’ve never been able to order.
Each time I’ve called for delivery, it’s either too late (even though it’s not closing time) or the driver isn’t available. Disappointed as I try my best to eat locally.

A few years ago, I seen this restaurant reviewed on a tv show. I decided to order the Michaelangelo pizza to see what the hype was about and it was a disappointment. Years later, I decided to give this place another try and ordered the exact same pizza and it was phenomenal! Lots of toppings and everything tasted FRESH. It tasted and appeared totally different than the last time. I would go here again for pizza.

We are from Rural Manitoba and used to drive in to eat at Diana's pizza, solely for this reason. We ordered a few pizzas as of late and sorry to say extremely disappointed.its not the gourmet pizza we remember at all.its become very RUN OF THE MILL.the dough was dry and flavorless and the sauce tasted like canned store bought not freshly made.we get better pizza at Dominos to be honest.we can tell this restaurant cuts corners now and purchases cheap ingredients to bring down their costs.not impressed.so many wonderful restaurants in Winnipeg and lots of new gourmet pizza restaurants have opered we have moved elsewhere.

A revision to my previous 2 star review:

Originally I was disappointed with one of the pizzas I had ordered as it was missing an important ingredient. I was contacted quickly and they re-made the pizza for me.

"Consent Fries with a Pickle" was a very unique pizza that I enjoyed eating. I've had and enjoyed pickles on pizza but these ingredients intrigued me and they really worked well together. It was favourful with very generous amount of toppings making it really filling.

The "Fragole di Capra" strawberry pizza tasted phenomenal. I was skeptical at first but I had to give it a try because it's so unique. I would definitely get this one again and recommend trying at least once!

On both visits the customer service had been great. It definitely is a more expensive pie but for some of the more unique combinations it's a good splurge once in a while for something new.

I still can't give this place 5 stars though. They may have remade my pizza but I still had to drive back across the city to grab it, wasting my time and gas when it should have been made properly the first time.

It is no exaggeration to say this pizza is exceptional! We ordered tonight to start La Pizza Week and we are thrilled with our experience. The pizza is excellent, service was great, we highly recommend!

Ordered 2 large pizzas Friday November 13th at 6: 40 pm was told to pick up in 40 minutes Arrived in store at 7: 30 pm and not one of the 4 staff members asked me who I was or what my order was. Stood waiting with 3 others for awhile and finally at 7: 55 one of the other disgruntled customers asked when his pizzas were going to be ready and at that time I enquired as well. My pizzas were cut at 8 with the same pizza cutter as all previous.what happens if I was allergic to something on a previous pizza? But that's not all, $73 for 2 pizzas that were comparable to Dominos and pizza hotline? ! Award winning pizza? Only award you win is for the most over priced pizza in winnipeg! Don't waste your time and money ordering from here!

I was pretty skeptical when I saw the pizza week entry- the consent fries. Pickles and gravy? Not a good combo. But I still decided to give it a try. It blew my mind. The gravy and cheese melted in my mouth while the fries and pickles added to the chewiness and contrasting flavor. It is the strangest yet most unique pizza I've ever had. My mouth is watering right now as I write the review and thinking about the pizza. I would definitely buy it again.
