Dino's Grocery Mart

Nice grocery store with all Indian varieties but not that much cheaper as other stores are such as Walmart and Costco

I have been looking for certain ethnic ingredients for several years at the Large Chain Grocery stores, and have always come up empty handed.
Last week I came across Dino's Grocery Mart and their website and was mesmerized by their selection of ethnic foods available for delivery.
While waiting for my delivery I started to read some of the reviews on here and I was horrified of what might be coming, and thought "what did I just do? ".
I was super impressed to find out that these reviews were simply not true in my experience. Don't always believe negative comments on review sites. Just because someone had a negative experience doesn't mean you will.
No dented cans, No expired product, fresh produce. I wish you had the Yellow Maseca, as I really wanted to try it, but perhaps maybe next time.
I will definitely shop, using Dino's website when I need the ingredients I can't find elsewhere. Thank you Dino's and the staff, you were great!

They actually have a ton of stuff that's tricky to find. Fresh scotch bonnets, tons of spices and flour, loads of chilies. Really awesome new location.

This store is one of the best for west Indian products in Winnipeg. They are not very good at addressing customer concerns though, they lack accountability and will blow you off unless you look like them.

Online delivery super. I recently purchased from online, received very good product nicely packaged. Very much impressed. Staff ‘ELNA’ helped to select all good items and informed all replacements. Perfect!

Big selection of spices at very good price. Lots of dried chili types to choose from. Dried legumes, ethnic snacks and cooking appliances are also available.

This place is home away from home. It has pretty much everything you could need at affordable prices. Highly recommend visiting.

This is one of my favourite stores in Winnipeg. If you are having trouble finding any Indian, South Asian, West Indian, Carribbean or Central American spice or ingredient you will probably find it here. Especially good for having tons of dried whole chilies which are hard to find in Winnipeg. It is really competitively priced, with a great selection of any spice you would need in a usable package size. I also love the wide variety of flours and beans. You won't regret shopping here.

Great place for ethnic food needs. Good choice of a variety of rice and lentils from different brands. A bit pricey. Friendly and helpful staff.

My go to place to buy Indian groceries. They have a good collection. Although a little pricey, I go there to buy things that I cannot find at other places. So it's worth it.

First time at the store, I left with a few items. A little something for every taste bud. If your into ethnic foods of different nations you'll love this store. Lots of fresh herbs n other ingredients.

This is the best possible store to get indian or any other ethnic foods, hands down the only one place in winnipeg and manitoba, prepare to get amazed.

This is a one stop shop for cosmetics, hair products and groceries among other things
They are always well stocked.

Dinos grocery has no customer service. This business is not even worth one star in my opinion. There is no customer service when it comes to helping disable customers. This incident happened in front of my eyes. An emplyee (east indian lady) complained to the customer (who needed assistance with her groceries) that she does not get paid for carrying customers groceries to their vehicle, customer replied it is called customer service and you should talk to your employer or quit. This employee was shouting at the customer and made a scene outside the store while people watching. Clearly, this employee is not happy there. The same incident happened with me and called store manager Dinos to report, instead of listening, he became ofensive and rude, he totally ignored and denied any issue. Worst place to go. I overheard a conversation between employees that they get samosas from someone who made it at home and sell to dinos cheap 0.25cents and dinos sell for a dollar. Shady business. I stopped going to this place long time ago. BE CAREFUL DUE TO COVID.

Nice variety of Caribbean food, and bigger location. But I don't like that the man in the office profiles and watches certain people as they shop when there is no justification to do so. Others have noticed the same.

Excellent selection, excellent service. Medium sized parking lot. Sanitized shopping baskets and distancing markings at checkout. Shop till you drop!

The variety of products is too much to handle. Just loved this place. It is by far the largest and best Indian grocery store. All fresh products also very good. Worth a visit

It is the new Dino's.its very big and nice, but I love the old Dino's, so used to it and many memories there to

People at the store are friendly, the consumer area is filled with biased customers though. Makes you feel uncomfortable. Only reason why I couldn’t give a 5.

I recommend this place 100%, there is no other ethnic grocery store like it. Nobody can beat the best!

Dino's new location is very spacious, lots of ethnic items, as an Indian I get everything that I get in India, so it's nice for me, a big shoutout to the cashier Radhi she is young and lively always there to help the shoppers

Their new place is very spacious with few parking spots. Very good selection of Asian and African grocery. Their staff is very helpful, especially one lady cashier. She is very down to the earth and always trying to go above and beyond to serve the customers. They also offer all the spices and condiments in bulk with various sizes for individual family needs.

Love the ethnic foods, The customer service is very poor. The cashier is not friendly and Dino is also very unfriendly. He does not even smile or acknowledge customers. I feel he does not show appreciation for customers.

Love love this place. Well stocked and well priced. Buy my spices there and live the barfi. Also their incense is a steal. Lively friendly staff too.

This place is so bright and cheery. A lot of specialty items to choose from that you will not find at Superstore or Sobeys. The Samosias behind the cashiers are brought in fresh every morning and are super tasty. Check them out.

A great place for a peace for seasoning and other condiments from all around the world. The location has been improved. Respectful staff.

Dino's is excellent if you're looking for West African or Caribbean condiments, spices and staples. It's where I go to for maggi, indomie, semo, and if you don't know what those are, then you won't appreciate their availability lol. Having said that, the last time I went they didn't have indomie so I suppose availability of those items may be hit or miss. Definitely give it a look in if you're missing something.

The only show in town especially for the down town die hards, however I hope they understand that there are other new kids coming up. Indian House and Bombay Spice. I loved MTR ready made spices.its $ 2.99 at Dinos Grocery.but let me tell you its cheaper at the new kids on Pembina.and if you really want a killer deal. Walmart @ Empress you could get the same stuff around $ 1.99. Grow up Dino.you are not the only show in town.

I moved to MTL 8 years ago and I can still smell this place if I close my eyes. We have a lot of international stores in this city and NOTHING compares to Dino. Dino! I miss you man! Next time I'm in the city will definitely stop by for a patty and some tamarind balls. Happy to see you're still in business.:)

I've been looking for a place that is jam packed and well organized with all the delicious imported goods that I loved when living out east and Dinos is it! It's huge for one, reasonably priced and I got everything I needed there for my recipes. The fresh fruits and veggies are more specialty imports so I'd have to still hit a different market for better variety but honestly this place is amazing thank youuuu
