Dufresne Furniture & Appliances

All I can say is WOW spent over $5000 on a bunch of diffrent items and now have 2 of 11 items I bought and they won't offer any kind of refund, store credit nothing! Told items have to be returned with in 48 hours of purchase and would then also have a 25% strocking fee. I HIGHLY suggest taking your business to another store potentially a smaller local store that will care about its customer after the sale.

From selection, to assisting with the decision, to locating a fairly quick delivery date (it was 10 days early), to keeping us informed of delivery, to delivery, (early too!), polite, efficient, and fabulous.highly recommend!

As always, my wife and I found exactly what we were looking for in store. And even better, it was discounted for Black Friday. The service is always very friendly and we enjoy coming always!

I don’t usually leave bad reviews but I am absolutely disgusted with the service we just received. We went in with a good idea of what we wanted & a budget. The sales rep named Jodi showed us a bunch of couches & kept bringing us back to a blue couch when we were very clear we only wanted light grey or light beige which honestly we weren’t super upset about it. We found one couch we were pretty fond of & said we’d just look around so we could discuss it. We then hear her trash talking us on how we are too picky & that we want to pay nothing for a couch which is not the case at all. All I have to say is I will definitely not be buying anything from your business as that is disrespectful & completely uncalled for.

Delivery was completed during the 3 hour window that was provided. My order was put together correctly and old items were removed based on my white glove delivery service. Very happy with the delivery service!

We bought a wonderful mattress yesterday at 60 percent off and had the best service from Abdulah! We will be coming back for a sectional in the next while! Thanks Dufresne!

I have purchased a 75 inch TV, high end stove, fridge, microwave hood fan, freezer, extra large sectional and more recently a movie style loveseat. The service has always been exceptional on all and every level. I have loved Dufresne for over 15 years and will always be my go to for everything. We had bought a dishwasher, a fridge, and a stove and had it delivered to us. The dishwasher was in stock and delivered right away by a duo of great guys. One guy carried it to our door while the other guy got the old one out, we were amazed that they could just pick it up like it was nothing. Both of them were friendly and easy to deal with. The fridge and stove were delivered about a week later when they were available. There was a team of three this time and all three of them were fantastic, they got along with us, seemed to get along with each other, and genuinely looked happy. They joked with each other and with us, it was a wonderful delivery experience, great job to all the delivery people.

Went to purchase appliances for a new home. Went to see Meni to go over the appliances I saw online. He walked me through the showroom and told me about each appliance I had chosen. Very knowledgeable about his products and the price definitely can't be beaten. Highly recommended!

My husband and I walked in to the Nairn store just looking for a new couch however this location had so many great deals going on and with Kris' help we walked out purchasing multiple new pieces for our home!

Great experience at Dufresne. Matthew K.at the Winnipeg Nairn location helped us quickly find a perfect loveseat at a great price and explained everything we needed to know. Delivery and collection of our old loveseat on the expected date took only a few minutes and the tracking allowed us to know exactly when to expect the truck. This was our smoothest furniture purchase ever and we wouldn’t hesitate to buy from Dufresne again.

It was a great experience for us cause every small details and difference between brands were thoroughly explained. The sizes and technical details and installing was properly explained. Hands off to Ernie for sharing us his vast and wide knowledge on appliances. Very approachable and friendly. Gave 200% of his customer service to us.

Updating review on Dec 17 as I had placed my furniture order back at the end of August and the latest news is that I still have another 6 to 8 weeks before receiving my ottoman. I don't understand how my sectional took just over 2 months from order to receipt, but the matching ottoman will take 5?

Excellent staff, very helpful and knowledgeable online. Website allows you to filter by products made in Canada, which is good for people concerned about environmental impact.

We went to Dufresne furniture in Winnipeg to purchase a new sectional and recliner for our new home. We dealt with Janet Patterson who went out of her way to help us. It was a very positive experience. Janet is a very experienced, knowledgeable sales representative. At no time did we feel pressured and everything was explained fully. If we need more furniture we will definitely visit Dufresne's again.

They were very friendly and helpful. They guided us through the process of buying our dining set. They was no pressure to buy immediately. We went back the next day to purchase it.

Very good experience, staff are knowledgeable, helpful and prices are competitive. It is so useful in today’s marketplace to contact store rep who will look after your concerns, if any instead of calling 1-800 number. They offer white glove delivery, for a fee but that is so worthwhile knowing they will unpack and set up for you. The showroom on Nairn Avenue is packed with variety of choices/selections. Staff are not pushy, yet are available to discuss. Thought the entire process/visit was well worth the time. We are buying appliances at the moment but will do complete furnishings from them.

My husband and I went there to buy a kitchen table and we had the best service with Bethany. She did not force us to buy anything she showed us many options of what we were looking for and gave us plenty of time to discuss privately on what we wanted. It was a very easy and stress free shopping trip.

Beautiful furniture.pieces I wanted to purchase were not available to see in person. When I get them, and if I don't like them, there is a 10% restocking fee. Unfair business practice.

We bought a couch with coffee and end tables. The tables they sent were a different color then in the store. We bought grey tables with a silver base too match our grey couch. They sent brown with black base and said it must have been the light. It's funny how the couch was the same color I saw in the store but the tables weren't. Charged us a 20% restocking fee for their foul up. I'll never do business with Dufresne again. They're a bunch of clowns, no customer service whatsoever. Their customer care line told us someone would call us to arrange pick up, then called 9 days later saying aww shucks we thought you were bringing them in. I've now been waiting 3 days for the same call that never came the first time. Save yourself the hassle shop somewhere that has customer service like Leon's.

I was very pleased with the service I received from Kenny the young service person. He was very pleasant and patient while I browsed. I wasn’t able to find a love seat that I liked. I eventually found two lovely chairs.

Searching for the perfect sofa sleeper that would fit all our criteria, we included Dufresne on Nairn in our travels. Very glad we did. The furniture specialist that assisted us, Jodi Foley, was very knowledgeable about the products in question, and helped us narrow down our choices. More importantly, Jodi and Dufresne were willing to explore the possibilities of discounts and price matching, and they did so quickly and efficiently, allowing us to make our final decision without any hesitation.
To top it all off, Jodi was fun, warm and concluded the sale with a hug. That's a first for us!
Though we have not yet received the sofa into our home, we were most pleased with our buying experience, and we'll be sure to put Dufresne on Nairn on the top of our search list for future home furnishing products.

A fine furniture shopping experience. I would rather not have the protection plan automatically added to the bill while they hope you don’t request to have it removed.

Fernando Remedios of Guest Care was really awesome! He knows everything on how to help the customer, and making sure that the experience and service is exceptional. Fernando assist me with my concern about my furniture delivery, returns, and repair. Dufresne delivered partially my orders and left night stand which took sometime. I called the Guest Care and was told that the night stand was for pick up, Fernando arrange it to be delivered as I already paid for everything and pay for delivery. I called the guest care again coz the guys who assembled my dresser drawer ruined the glide and screws are coming out which I noticed few days after. Fernando once again assist me and makes sure that everything will be fixed and scheduled a technician. Thank You for your fantastic customer service!

Husband and I popped in today to see if we could agree on a bit of new dining room furniture. Not only did we agree but with Michael's guidance we ended up buying an extra piece as well. He zeroes in on what you are looking for to avoid looking at options that just won't suit. Highly recommend Michael at the Nairn store!
