Eastend Meat and Sausage Nat Al Ltd

We have spent and bought tons of jerky, cold cuts and other things from this store over the past year. We especially really liked the beef jerky- we loved trying all the different options they had available- with trying almost all of them. While the beef jerky was a bit pricey we loved supporting locally and even though we no longer lived in transcona we would make a trip every now and then to get a weekend snack.

However, we will not be coming back after our most recent encounter with them over the phone. As we bought beef jerky early this week from them about $50 in just jerky with $30 of that going moldy 4 days later. We always keep our jerky in a dark pantry cabinet and usually will throw it in the fridge if we cannot consume it all within 5-7 days. However, I phoned to let them know about the moldy jerky and the man on the phone was not only extremely rude but also condescending. He didn't want to provide any remedy to the situation and just kept stating how obvious it would be to take it out of the bag they sell it to you in. I have bought from here over 6 or 7 times and not one time had anyone ever mentioned this. Friends of mine who also come here have said they never would have thought to take it out of the bag. Maybe a warning in the future would be nice but this man does not know how to speak kindly to customers. Not even going to bother coming and showing the jerky when he clearly sounded like there was nothing he wanted or could do.

Sorry but I have to give it a 4 stars as the last time I went in and asked for porterhouse steak.they do not Stock that

Spent $250 for greying, slimy steaks, and greying off tasting ground beef. Should have been discarded not sold.

Best in house ham in winnipeg. I would like to say it's terrible so I can have that store for myself. Great work Eastend meats!

Jerky, pepperettes, pastrami, smoked tenderloin.was very disappointed.very salty and plain seasoning on all, it all tasted the same. And the deli meat was unbelievable dry, dry like to the point of it crumbling. Sorry but I will stick to Miller's.: , (

TopNotch quality, massive jerky variety and even Sugar-Free Jerky too. So many flavours.
Best quality fresh meats in Winnipeg.

I went to east end meats to get a order. They gave me the wrong order. I went back to get my order and the lady who had my order came back to exchange. They took her order back and gave it to me. They did not remake the order or anything. Obviously they don't care about Covid19 and there customers. I called to speak to the manager and he was a mouthy kid. He tried to put the blame on me and not the staff. If the owner reads this please get back to me.

Quality Meats at good prices that I feel great about feeding my family love the selection and different treats they come up with as well as their treats for dogs great place!

Went here yesterday for the first time but won't be the last. Pepperoni smokies are incredible and i can't wait to try the cheese and jalapeno smokies. Pricey but you get what you pay for.

Their jerky is dangerous. I think I may be addicted, definitely can't go back to grocery store brands, their new Montreal Steak flavor is incredible. First time buying jerky from a butcher and wow, I'm in love.

Very helpful staff. Answered my questions about what size of whole chicken I would need for my family of 4 for Christmas dinner. Ordering was easy, and was ready for pick up promptly. Wonderful local shop and we will be back!

I got the Valentine's day bouquet and it was such a great gift. I recomend it if ur specual lady doesnt like flowers or chocolates because at this time spring around the corner. Or even a gift for ur a man what man doesnt like meat and cheese lol

Great local meat shop. If you like beef jerky you have to check out this place. Also if you hate making decisions choosing the flavour of beef jerky will be the toughest decision.

The reason I am only providing 4-stars is due to the hours. I can only get to the store on weekends because it closes too early during the week.

Here for the Jerky! Widest variety and availability of products. Best jerky I have had in Winnipeg. 4 Alarm is the bomb! This place is a must stop for carnivore's big time.
