This used to be the best place around. Paul was always as honest as the day is long! BUT… we were told that he retired. The new “manager” Mike is incredibly rude. He overcharges what he quotes. He yells at customers and treats people horribly. Be careful. Get a quote in writing. Or find another shop. Sorry to say, the great service left when Paul retired.

My husband just came from there. He can't stop talking about how great he was treated and what a great job they did at a reasonable price. We definitely recommend this business And we will go back in the future. Thanks!

Paul and all the gang there are great. I have dealt with this place for several years and on occasions very reasonable rates and treats you like family. Ex: my last stop there I had a engine light on Dave checked it out cleared 3 codes off it and said no charge. The 3 code did come back on and of course Paul econo muffler will get the business

Paul and crew are solid crew, they are straight to the point. Prices are reasonable. People with thin skin need not apply within - its always a fun experience when hanging out waiting for the work to be fun. True blue collar service station.

Took my truck in for a quick exhaust repair and tire repair. 20.00 for a plug that's still leaking and the exhaust repair not done on time no call when it was done and appointments mean nothing. They also dropped the shop door on the edge of the painted shell on my truck badly damaging it and didn't say a word to me. Totally unprofessional. Do not go here. Waste if money. Will never say a good word about this place

$1400 later and still had to come back to use my warranty because they had given me a used part that broke& leaking within 6 months. Then got charged another $300 for labor that should of been covered because of defective workmanship from the first time I came. Mechanic that was at front was VERY rude, argumentative and swearing. Most unprofessional service I’ve ever received- don’t usually write reviews but I don’t think customers or anyone really should be talked to / disrespected the way I was.especially when it’s on them for the poor work they did on my car, will NEVER go back.
Unless you have money to waste don’t go here, pay a bit more somewhere else that will fix it the first time and not charge you when THEY make a mistake.

After coming so highly recommended, I decided to go with econo muffler to get my truck fixed. Had so many red flags here but I figured at first it was a good thing and not turn out to be the worst experience iv ever had. For a week and a half I called every day to see if there was an opening to get my truck in, it needed major repair and wasn't drivable at the time. At first it was every day was ' yup I can do the repairs it's a huge job tho and not cheap, ' and 'i just have 1 vehicle that's getting done and I'll get you truck towed in and right into the shop to get worked on since it's a non start' after waiting on him to send his own truck down to get it (oh drivers too busy, he's out right now, I haven't asked him yet) I said ok if I pay out of my own pocket to get it towed there will you still look at it? 'oh ya I have a spot opening up this afternoon we'll get it right in the shop' paid $100 to get it towed like 4 blocks away, truck sat in his larkinglotfor an entire week, I called, Paul's answer was 'oh I'm super busy' or 'things got crazy here and something came up' then when I went down there in person Paul says 'i have only 1 ford tech guy and he's finishing up a job and will be done at noon and I promise your truck is going in' next day friend drives by and says my truck is still in the parking lot, So i called him again. Paul what gives? Oh something came up and had to do another job, besides not sure if I Want to do your work, there's alot that needs to be done for that it's a big job'and I said your telling me this now? So anyways I ended up getting another tow truck and towed it from there and took the big job elsewhere, I had such a bad experience there I guess that people only get great service from oil changed and getting air out in the tires. I wouldn't trust him with keeping his promises. He had my truck for almost 3 weeks and nothing was done, and don't get me started on the'free loaner car'
. While getting the truck picked up today saw a truck being towed in and yup.right into the shop.

Paul and his staff always provide quick and low priced service. Fast turn over for repairs (just not when they can't find your part and have to wait for the order to come in). I had to wait a few days for a part that wasn't found anywhere in the city. I will always take my vehicle to them. Thanks guys for fixing my oil leak in a timely manner.

$600 to get my sisters car running. Wouldnt start the next day.oooh parking ban on so add $100 ticket. They come get it and keep it a few more days.another $400 and its blowing so much smoke out. Not running again. These guys are either stupid or scam artists. Save your money dont go here. Go to a real shop. Im gonna take her car to another shop with her bills/reciepts and see if they actually did what they say they did. If not there will be legal action. Either way $1000 to get her car running better and it still doesnt run. Dont go here

Called to have my exhaust looked at. Said they are busy but would have time to look at it at 2 p.m. Got there and was in right away. After looking at the issue I approved the repair. Here's the kicker, at a dealer or Canadian Tire or any of those others, the repair would have cost me about 5-6 times as much! No kidding! They go the extra mile to save the customer money. Plus they saved me another 3,000.00 telling me that I do not need my rack and pinion replaced. And showed me what the problem was and that it is none critical. But when I did choose to do it, I would have a lifetime warranty. Best, friendly knowledgeable service in the city! Old school. Thanks for everything Paul and mechanic Dave. Will be recommending you guys to all.
