Got my Hisense Smart tv from Extreme after my Samsung LED stopped working. Brian and the team got me a good price on the unit and I was able to pick it up the same day I placed the order. Definitely recommend Extreme Electronics.

I was shopping online for a Pioneer TS-A2000LD2 subwoofer and ended up at this store's website. They showed a great price and the item showed as in-stock, so I placed an order. The next day, they cancelled my order stating "no inventory". OK, I get that - these things happen. But now, over a week later and they still show the same item at the same price and still show in-stock. I even sent them a note advising them of this but no response and no change on the website? !

Negative stars for this place. Terrible service. Stay away. They actually require a 50% down payment before they even book an appointment for a remote start install! They will never see another dime from me.

1. Does not have all the item in stock even it shows in stock on the website.
2. Will not sell you the displayed price, they will use price error excuse to cancel the order.
3. Use point 1 and 2 to try sell you another more expensive model.

I was having problems finding stereo components due to Covid and the disasters in BC so I reached out to the folks in Brandon MB.
The staff was so knowledgeable and walked me through exactly what I needed and shipped it out during the busy Christmas rush.
All my questions were handled professionally and pictures drawn up and mailed off for proper installation.
Can’t say enough on all the help from Ryan and the installation team.
Definitely going to deal with them in the future.

Bought an AV receiver and cables from Extreme last year during height of COVID. Was told if it didn't work for our purposes we couldn't return right away, but to hold onto everything and return at later date. When we tried to return it earlier this year, we were told quite unapologetically no. The reasons they gave us was the box had been opened, the cables were taken out of the bag, etc. Plus they were quite rude about it. Now we are stuck with $600 worth of equipment we can't use. Not impressed!

Response to their response: Yes, we were aware we dragged our feet on trying to return, but it was not our first attempt to do so. We phoned earlier in the year and told we still couldn't return. Then life got in the way for a few months. And in terms of it not being new or unused, how exactly do you try a product out without taking it out of the box or opening the packaging. No effort was made to meet us in the middle, you wouldn't even take the cables back.

Salesperson not very knowledgeable. Not aware of differences in model numbers of TVs the store sells. Not aware of HDMI 2.1 bug on AVRs.

Had a system put on my car and something went wrong with it, they were able to fit me in on very short notice and help sort out the problem. Every time I go into the store it’s always a good experience they always take time to explain stuff to me and and answer whatever questions I may have. They even took the time to build and quote multiple set ups for me (on paper). Which was very appreciated and helpful in my decision.

Kisha, Shawn and Henry are all amazing keep up the good work.

Day one of looking for a new TV Henry was great, he chatted how well the tv was and we went home to think about it. Day 2 Keisha the other sales rep really brought out the features of the TV and even took the time to call me back directly to walk me through the set up of the new Samsung Neo QLED QN90A 55" TV. She didn't seemed to be rushed as she she said she'd call me from her cell phone and totally walked me through the start up process. I'm so happy with both sales people that I'm going to buy the sound bar specific for this TV. @Extreme Electronics Both Keisha and Henry both need a raise in pay! Seriously! Both didn't pressure us into a 2K+ tv and actually took there time to explain all this new TV had to offer. Thanks to the both of ya!

Tried emailing several times, and calling the store regarding a product for sale on the website (over several days). The employee took my info for the owner to call me. Didn't hear back and checked the website - they took the item off their store. Could have at least let me know its not available anymore?

. I had order a TV to be placed in a personal care home for an elderly family member. The TV I ordered was more than I actually needed. I.e. Smart TV vs regular TV. Instead of accepting my order for the higher priced TV, they contacted me suggesting a lower priced TV. That's real customer service! They weren't out to take my money. I addition, it was delivered the very next day. Definitely a great place

I bought a stove I asked the salesman if they would take the old stove away as I have no truck to take the old stove to the dump. He told me it would be no problem, we can do that for you. Today my stove was delivered I had to take it out of the box and they would not take the old stove. I told the salesman, that he said they would take it before I paid for the new one. But just wanted the sale. Will not buy my fridge there. As I will be needing a new one soon.

Ordered a limited edition turntable that was available on their website. Was assured it was available but it would be about a month to wait while it was shipped from the manufacturer.
No issue with that and the wait wasn't an issue but I got a surprise refund without an explanation. Emailed about the refund and got no response.
Customer service needs work. I'll take my business elsewhere.

Terrible company. Package was never delivered, was stolen/lost and company wouldn't refund the money for the package. Now im out over 1000$. Buyer beware. Do not buy from this seller.

Je viens d'acheter une table tournante Pro-ject chez ce magasin et le magasin affiche que la table tournante est vendue avec une cartouche om10. Quand j'ai reçu la table elle avait une cartouche de qualité moindre. J'ai communiqué avec le service à la clientèle et il m'on dit que la compagnie avait changé la cartouche sur cette table tournante sans les aviser. J'ai alors appelé la compagnie et pro-ject m'a confirmé que cette table n'a jamais été commercialisé avec la om-10. C'est une bande de menteur dans ce magasin. De plus, le magasin ne veut pas la reprendre car ma boite est déchirée. Quelle belle aventure: - (

I bought a subwoofer through their site and it was a seamless, headache free process. I purchased on a weekend and my subwoofer was shipped out on monday. Prices are unbeatable. Have not dealt with their customer service yet so I can't comment on that.

I have had a very unpleasant experience with this company. To begin with I ordered it through Amazon with a promised delivery date AND free memory. It was a gift for my wife's birthday. Well, it arrived late, and without the memory. My wife lives in Kansas, and she is not a "thechno wizard" She did not use the camera for six months, and then after only a few uses it stopped working. COMPLETELY stopped working. When I notified the "family" at Extreme Electronics, they said "we're sorry" but we CANNOT do anything for you. That was it. NEVER BUY A CAMERA FROM THIS COMPANY. Buy direct from Amazon who gives you good return policy, or Sam's Club, or Costco, or even Target or Walmart. But this company has a policy that once they have your money, they do not care. I should not have "gambled" to save a few bucks. It was a BIG MISTAKE. Please don't make the same mistake I did.

Brian and his team were extremely helpful. The prices were competitive and fair. I ordered a 15" sub from them and it was shipped extremely well protected and showed up half way across the country without a single mark on it and in perfect working condition. I will definitely be dealing with them again, highly recommended!

Ordered a Kenwood Excelon car radio online through Extreme Electronics. They did not have the ordered unit in stock but Matt went out of his way to help me out. He gave me an upgraded unit for the same price and shipping was super fast from Manitoba to Quebec. Installed today and could not be happier with my purchase. Their prices are VERY competitive, especially compared to Crutchfield Canada. I highly recommend them!

Ordered a TV stand that was on their website, went through the process of creating a profile, giving them my personal information, etc, and then paid for my order.

Two minutes later my order was cancelled with only an automated email, no apologies, no response to my inquiry, no offer of an alternate idea (perhaps a similar product, or maybe even be classy and suggest a competitor that has this item). So, these guys suck pretty hard. Thanks for nothing.

UPDATE: I had emailed them requesting they delete my information (as I will never use them again) and they just ignored me. These guys are about as awesome at customer service as old people are at screwing.

BEWARE - They sell 5 year old dead stock as NEW and "open box" items are missing parts.

My Response:

- The "open box" amplifier that you sent out to me was clearly missing parts and you disputed this when I brought it up over e-mail. When I opened the package that you sent me for the second amp that was described on your website as "open box", I was extremely disappointed to find that the face plate was missing, factory mounting screws were not included, no factory birth sheet was included, and the stacking kit was missing. The "open box" was also missing. Your description of the item did not note that any of these items were missing, which is misleading at best.

Also to be clear you have now just admitted that you sent me another broken amplifier. The second open box item that you sent me appeared to be a used product and I DID NOT INSTALL IT IN MY VEHICLE FOR THAT VERY REASON.

If it is true that Alpine deemed it to be a broken or defective product that is not of my doing at all as I never installed the "OPEN BOX" amplifier in my vehicle and it would appear to be the case that you sent me a product in used condition that was missing parts. Whether this was intentional or not is not my problem as I am an end user purchasing a product and have every right to expect that it will be received in working condition with all parts. "OPEN BOX" is different than "USED AND MISSING PARTS". You would do well to grasp this very simple concept.

The reason that you refunded my money was because you sent me bad product, plain and simple, and I called you out on it. I'm currently enjoying a different amplifier purchased at a different retailer and have no issues whatsoever, so readers can take that for what it's worth. The initial positive review was left after purchasing the first amplifier and before the issues with the product were discovered. As such, I've amended the review to reflect my negative and disappointing experience in dealing with Extreme Electronics.

Also I will add that I purchased a brand new amplifier of a different brand from a different retailer and it is performing flawlessly with no issues whatsoever.

I will reiterate my initial comment: BUYER BEWARE!

You have to give one star, in order to start writing a review on here. I just sent in an inquiry via email. The "General Manager" of said establishment, Mr. Brian Johnson, replys to my query in all capital letters, a total of 4 words. Email etiquette at it's best. No wonder he is unable to sell an open box Alpine sub at half price, since God knows how long. Thank my stars that I did not buy anything from this guy. Buyer beware. There are more deserving and capable businesses out there who will work hard and go the extra mile to win and more importantly keep, your valued business as a customer. Stay away from Extreme electronics, atleast till the time they have better people dealing with customers!

Still waiting after 3 months for my fireplace tv stand.the help was there and I had asked when it would be in if I order and was told a few weeks and was okay with that but I mean I can order things overnight these days unless if they are still cutting down the trees and stripping wire to build I guess maybe that's why? Otherwise I would have just went and bought one off the showroom floor at a local furniture store but they charge your credit card within seconds then dont care I guess how long it takes because they got what they wanted which was your money.kind of disappointing with the lack of follow up service after the sale

Needed replacement speakers for my spa that were non metal so rust proof. Had great difficulty finding such speakers that would survive such environment so landed my choice on Wet Sounds speakers. They were hard to find in Canada at a decent price but Extreme Electronics had them at a good price so made the purchase online. Shipping was fast. Transaction was smooth. Email notifications sent throughout the process and came with tracking number. Package very well protected. Took 5 business days from my order to my door 2 provinces away. Sounds better than what I had.thanks:)

Big shout out to extremeelectronics for great customer service. I was having an incredibly hard time finding the correct led/speaker wiring for my tower speakers. Nobody seemed to have it or know where I could get it, and if they did have they wouldn’t ship it to me in Canada. I reached out to many businesses in Canada. Mike Nair and the warehouse peeps got back to me right away. No one else even replied. They tracked it down and got it to me ASAP. Saved me a lot of time and expense. I won’t hesitate to order anything I need from them.

Ordered a turntable I think about December 3, maybe a few days earlier. Received a phone call saying my table was on backorder and could take about a month. Month and a half went by so I emailed them. They said they would let me know. Finally an email came saying my turntable would arrive sometime in late February or early March. Table arrived today March 28th which is good since they called saying it wouldn’t arrive until mid April. So it was a long 4 month wait to get my item even though they charged my visa the same day I ordered. Upset about paying $600 and then waiting 4 months but the table arrived in working order and they threw in an LP brush. Yay. I guess my complaints would be, don’t charge my visa until the item is in stock and be upfront about delay times instead of dragging me along for 4 months. Otherwise I’m happy to have my table.

An update on your website may be a nice option. When I purchased the table from you all indications pointed to it being ‘in stock’.
