Fairstone

So I tried getting a loan for 5k. They pulled my credit and I sent all the paperwork they requested. To be told they don't do loans to self employed people. Yet my wife who draws a paycheck from my corporate account has a loan through them total waste of time if your self employed.d

Do not deal with fairstone! I repeat. DO NOT! I called in a few weeks back and asked to pay off my loan over the phone with a visa debit and I was told I could. They sent me a link and I completed the steps which completely paid off my loan. I verified with my bank that the money was taken out by fairstone. I was then instantly told that they can only use the online system to pay loans but not for a total pay off. The rep said that she would look into it and get back to me. Upon be contacted, I was told that the transaction would be cancelled and the money would be sent back to me within 72 hrs. I was then told that I would have to come into the office to pay it off. It's now been 2 weeks and I still don't have my money back, I have contacted fairstone multiple times and every single time I'm not given any information on what is going on.all they state is that they will look into it and get back to me.which they don't do. They don't call me back as they state they will. In the mean time they have still been taking money out of my account for the regular payments. So at this point they now have more then the amount I owed, as again I paid this loan in full and they haven't given me my money back. They are criminals who have stolen money from me and now refuse to actually help me.

Mariah is who I recommend you speak to at this location. She is cheerful, helpful, relatable, and her customer service is second to none!
Some of the other staff don't have the same zest when working with clients, and it shows. Mariah is swimming laps around them folks, and will work for you.

Mariah, is the lady I dealt with at Fairstone. So professional, friendly and oh my word that lady has so much patience. Totally amazing. Asking for help is tough, but working with Mariah, she makes tough situations very pleasant.

Fairstone is a good business. They have always been there for me, and are friendly, fast and efficient!

This company exists to aide people that cannot lend from their local financial institution. The interest rates are high because the borrowers are high risk. So it is what it is. If you have formidable credit then borrow from a financial institution that meets your daily banking needs. This company is not criminal because it chooses to serve an underprivileged part of society.

I gave them 1 star if they had - stars I would give it. They loan officer just hung up on me never explained why and it's very horrible service there. Don't go there or call them VERY VERY BAD CUSTOMER SERVICE

I have given them a four star rating only because of the interest rate. My dealings with them have been easy to get the money I needed and hassle free afterwards when paid as agreed

Absolutely horrible. Avoid at all costs. Their customer service methods are bordering on harassment. Do not associate with them at all. Nothing you need money for is worth it.

This place will give you a high interest loan, but Oh My God, do they ever lack people skills. I made my appointment and came in, The loan officer that was given my file was busy. That's fine. Other staff asked me what I was there for. I explained and then asked if one of them could just take my file and process the loan. Nope. "You made an appointment with Kevin, so you'll need to wait. "After about 35 minutes I asked if someone could at least do the preliminary things. The answer I received was an angry, "Huh? " Then once again was told No. Then, finally, the guy I had my appointment with comes over to greet me and says to go home as they will be closing soon and wouldn't have time to deal with me. I complained that I had my appointment with him (which was setup by another staff member) and had been waiting for him for a while now. He said there was nothing he could do and to just come back another day. Such piss poor service, especially given the amount they make off these high interest loans. If you ABSOLUTELY need money for a real emergency then go there. But be prepared to be treated like you are of some lower class. If you can get your loan anywhere else, DO SO.

At any cost please avoid dealing with this financial institution. They are unprofessional and have no idea on how to deal with customers. They do not welcome you when you walk in and if you have any questions you will be dealt abruptly by the teller. Unbelievable how they still run their business.

Please do not use this bank. I’ve never dealt with a bank that’s worse than this one. There is a few kind staff, but Kevin is just a terrible person who doesn’t listen to anything. We followed their instructions that they gave us, and we apparently sent the money to the wrong account, Kevin constantly is being rude and I’ve had enough of him. This bank wouldn’t be bad, but the workers are terrible. Kevin does not listen and doesn’t care about your situation, he’s just money hungry. I will warn everyone about this bank and will make sure none of our friends or family ever bank with them again. Just to save them the hassle.
