Feast Cafe Bistro

We have been wanting to get to the Feast for a few years. Today was the day. It did not let’s us down. Started with the Spinach Artichoke dip. Hot and creamy with chips and crispy buttery bannock slices. Then we had the Butternut Squash Fettuccine and the Pickerel. The flavours were amazing. Only disappointment for the night was we didn’t have room for dessert. We spotted the apple pie the moment we sat down. So many other options to go try. Maybe next time we will leave room for dessert. So glad we finally tried this great cafe.

I saw it on Facebook and figured yeah you know what I wanna try it. I am so so so happy I did. It was amazing. I had the buffalo burger and added some bacon to it because.well bacon! It was positively the most amazing burger I've ever had. The mixed wild rice was also wonderful and super fluffy. I will definitely go back.

The new bison ramen…. Absolutely incredible.ingredients, love and medicine meticulously planned and placed in this beautiful bowl/labour of love.

Their bannock taco is *chef’s kiss* Do your stomach and taste buds a favour and eat here. If I lived in Winnipeg I’d be ordering from Feast at least once a week.

I usually get the soup and salad. So good! I bought some bannock to go. It was horrible. The baked bannock was so greasy and dense - somehow! It broke apart by just carrying it. I'm not even joking with how greasy this thing was. Its like they took it, dipped it in grease before packaging. The other type of bannock wasn't too great either. I didn't eat either and threw both out. I think they need to work on those recipes. Other then that it's a nice little restaurant with a lot of potential.

Wonderfully comforting dishes with amazingly rich and complex flavours. Everything we had was fantastic! The interior is modern but cozy and the staff are friendly and helpful. Prices are very reasonable. This is my new favourite restaurant in Winnipeg. We can't wait to go back again and again to try everything on the menu.

The food was incredible. I had a Bison Beef Dip with Bannock bread and the soup of the day. The bannock is so fresh and soft! The bison was amazing and I finished wanting another. My lunch partner had the bison burger with a butter tart for dessert! Will go again next time I am in Winnipeg - it will be my lunch go to!

We ordered the bannock tacos for a group event. I decided I felt like having the vegetarian one this go and oh my wow it did not disappoint! I hope to try this place again in person as I heard it is amazing!

Everything was incredible! The butternut squash bannock pizza is a must-try for sure; incredibly flavourful toppings on a delicious bannock base!

Absolutely charming place! Food was delightful, staff very kind and proactive! Perfect place to get in touch with indigenous culinary)

Although this time they gave me a new mini menu and said they were trying out a new supper menu. Fortunately I was still able to get the full menu since everything I wanted was not on the mini menu (bison chilli, and tacos).

Amazing! Like I do mean the food was amazing! Had their cheddar bison burger with bacon and their bison chili and manitba poutine! WoW the 1st couple of bites blew me away! The flavor was on epic proportions! The berry BBQ sauce.very tasty! As for the pouting! Im not sure what my favorite part of that was! Toss uo between how hardy it was or the gravy! Price little high but definitely worth every morsel I slammed down lolz! Can't wait for my next visit to try out their dinner menu!

While in Winnipeg, I visited Feast Cafe Bistro. This is a unique Indigenous restaurant with amazing food.

I started off with the Butternut Squash Soup with coconut milk and a hint of ginger with corn chips. This was one of the best soups I’ve ever had! The combination was fantastic and it was very flavourful.

I then had the Slow-Roasted Rosemary Manitoba Bison, served with potato squash mash, seasonal vegetables, horseradish, gravy jus, & wild blueberry compote. It was without a doubt an outstanding dish. The bison was soft, lean, and very rich in flavour, and the combination of the mashed potatoes and the wild blueberry compote skyrocketed the flavour of the dish because it added a bit of sourness and sweetness to activate all the flavours of the mouth.

The service was outstanding and the establishment was clean. I would highly recommend this restaurant to anyone who visits or lives in Winnipeg, Manitoba!

Bison chilli was yummy first time I had Bison. London fog was made really well. Enjoyed the pie too

I was really impressed for three reasons.
1. Service was great.
2. Food was quality.
3. Part of the purpose of the cafe is to give indigenous people who want to work in the hospitality industry a first step.
Any business that has the goal to have their employees leave better than when they came I want to promote.

Food is always excellent this is why we keep coming back. The service is less than average, initial greetings are slow at the table even when relatively slow. Staff is friendly for the most part. There isn't a lot of ambience here and we found it pretty cold when we went. Seating is comfortable.

Poor service. Over 45 minutes to get food from time we sat down. Disappointing service for a birthday lunch. The food was delicious though we had a reservation for 11. Other people got their food faster than we did and she forgot to ask what my aunt wanted for her replacement meal. I really enjoyed the catering at the round dance at the West End Cultural Centre. I would definitely eat here again though.

Best chicken fingers (says the kid). Tipi taco was amazing! Fast, friendly service. Large portions. Recommend!

The quality of food has gone down over the years and it’s a bit over priced for the quality. They also don’t seem to answer the phone for takeout orders! This restaurant is unfortunately overrated.

Great little spot. Be sure to make reservations ahead of time. Thank you for the gluten free and vegetarian options.

Went here for the first time with family and some friends from out of town. For the 6 of us to eat it was about $120 but that was 6 meals and 6 deserts and drinks. There bison burgers and bison meat with their blueberry BBQ sauce was exquisite. Was sweat yet tang at the same time. Plus the bannok breads used for the burgers tacos and deserts was so light and fluffy it was sublime. Was overall a great dining experience. With a cute yet classy interior thme and music. Overall it's definitely got me wanting to go there again.
