Edit: Hey FedEx, I see you responded to this review, but you somehow missed responding to the review another user posted two months ago with the picture of one of your drivers parked in a handicap spot! Maybe you should prioritize that one and make that right.

Original: I avoid FedEx as much as possible. They're fine for business deliveries, but I have literally never had them successfully deliver a package to my door for a residential delivery. In contrast, deliveries from basically any other carrier, including Canada Post, UPS, Purolator, and even Dynamex have occured without issue the vast majority of the time. Every time I've had a residential delivery scheduled from FedEx, they claim the package is out for delivery on the tracking info, then change the status to delayed with a new delivery date. Then, they change the status again to "ready for pickup" at their notoriously obnoxiously located Ship Centre at the airport, before the rescheduled delivery date has even happened. I genuinely do not believe that they actually attempted delivery at any point, as they don't even leave a "we missed you" tag behind, and I waited at home all day for said shipment. I would be surprised if the shipment was ever loaded on to a delivery truck at any point. Looking at the massive amount of other similar reviews posted for this location, this is not a unique or isolated incident. I wouldn't believe anything FedEx told me about what happened or why this happens; after all, they demonstrably lie about the delivery attempts and schedule constantly, so why on Earth would I trust them about anything else they say?

I tracked my package on the website of the shop I ordered from on October 22nd. It says was shipped by Fedex. When I checked Fedex's website to track, it says ready for pick-up at the Ship Centre on October 30th. It also said customer is not available to receive the package. I didn't receive any call that day as the door buzzer is connected to my cellphone. How come it said they tried to contact me but they did not really. And this was not the first time this happened. They always say customer is not available to receive their package and they tried to contact. So upsetting! To think that they are a big company, they should work on their customer service.

I prepay and preprint my labels beforehand so it’s a nice, quick and easy drop-off. Staff is always friendly.

Useless company that apparently can’t do the one thing you pay them to do which is deliver the package to your door, and instead make you drive far out of your way to do their job for them
But nothing against the people working in the customer service, they’ve always been very polite and quick when I’ve had to come here to get my package

My partner tried to have a package delivered, they rang the buzzer to get let into the building 5 times, and each time I hit the button to open the door. They never even came into the building and then said that the customer was unavailable. So now he has to take a 2 hour bus ride to this center to pick up his package. Useless!

Had to pick up a package here. Place is right by the Winnipeg airport. Was super easy, parked in the front walked in the front and gave the employee my fed ex number. Package was retrieved fast. No issues would pick up here again. Lots of parking in the front. Staff nice.

FedEx was supposed to deliver my order on 1 day because I got charged for 1 days delivery so, I waited at home for the delivery. No any news then I got email for 1 more delay, again the next day I stayed home because the documents was important and I needed it urgently again nothing and again another email for 2 days more delay. I called customer service. They asked me wired questions such as what is in your package? What kind of document? Why you need this urgently? And so on, this is ridiculous and frustrating!

I want to commend Seera, who is helpful, friendly, patient and pleasant. She assisted me two times, and she did great. She is very approachable and compassionate. She extended her help to me when I came to FedEx past their office hours, and I was able to get my package. Fedex is very blessed to have an employee like her. God bless you, Seera. Non-cooperative, thief’s that are running the business-in the form of innocent, inaccurate tracking details, time delay in delivery, unnecessary duties and taxes that’s worth a lot more than the package. I had the first and worst experience with Fedex. I would recommend others to never ship their products using FedEx.

Ended up having to pick up my package here after FedEx botched the delivery process and were too lazy to attempt a 2nd delivery (even though customer service confirmed it was their policy and the automated phone call said it would be attempted again today). FedEx had one job - to deliver a package! So naturally, I had to pick it up. Excellent service. Would definitely recommend Purolator over FedEx, mailing it, or walking it across the country over giving FedEx some $$$.

Counter staff was very helpful but company itself is not.hard to believe that their drivers don't carry cellphones to contact a customer if they are having problems with delivering their parcel.

Terrible service. Driver didn't deliver my package despite my having a designated drop box, alternate p.o. Box, and instructions that my dog was friendly. I was given a message that I could come pick up my parcel at their Depot without options for re-scheduling another delivery. In attempting to contact them it was near impossible to talk to a two person. Not to mention that their automated voice message still cites COVID as the reason for their delivery delays. If you haven't adjusted to COVID by now, I'm frankly embarrassed for your company.

The wait time per customer seems really long. I was only 3rd in line for service and it took almost half an hour before I was helped. Staff were trying but they didn't seem too knowledgeable when helping customers

Update: If I could somehow lower my rating, I would. Fedex really, really hates delivering anything and will take any opportunity to not deliver it. I tried using the various "help" or "customer service" options on their website. They're not functional. But when I yelled at them via Twitter, of all places, I got an instant response! Of course, the item still didn't get delivered on schedule.

We had two packages scheduled to be delivered by FedEx on the SAME DAY! One package was delivered to our door, the other was left at this depot. You're telling me the same person couldn't have just delivered both of them? It's only a few minutes' drive to our home, how lazy can they get?

I don't understand how these courier services even stay in business.

Package arrived on time but cardboard was damaged in multiple areas. Item was fine but required signature. They left at the door and delivery status noted my signature was "on file" I was not home at the time.

The parking lot is horrendous. It was full and people were double parked, blocking others in. The curbside pickup/dropoff works really well, if you can get to the spot and someone isn't just using it as normal parking, with utter disregard for others.

Thankfully as a Westjet retired employee I am able to receive a FedEx rate! Their customer service was absolutely amazing as they walked me through every single detail as I wanted to ship a bunch of items from my residence! Literally the best shipping company ever!

They don’t delivery if you live in a condo. It’s not jUst once that happened. And they don’t let you an track order or anything saying that were there, they call (if someone send you something you will never have a tracking number) and you have to go there on Sargent and do their job. That’s delivering your own order. If you’re in Canada use Canada post, they don’t have issues to access buildings.

Worst service till date I got order 2 times through fedex and both times I have to pick from there facility at Sargent which is 15km away.they never call if no one at door I wonder even if they try to deliver or they just say we tried delivering

FedEx Winnipeg lost my item and they advice me to call a store to order the item to give them a claim number. I lost a money without to care. Today was a delivery day before 5pm I call them and he told me is in a truck to delivery. Never appears a driver at my address. I hope to don't lose it again because is 700 dollars item.

We have been waiting for a parcel for the past 2 days and we go out and check to see what was delivered and all we have is a note to come and pick it up. Nobody knocked on the door, or rang the door bell there were 3 people at the house. Then I tried and complain and the phone rang forever then hung up. What kind of service is this. Now I need to spend my gas to go and pick up this parcel after 6 p.m. Because it was urgent for work and nobody answers the phone. This is not the first time this has happened for a parcel shipped by FedEx they have very poor customer service but their fees are not cheep. No wonder they have a 800 number that nobody answers and no local number to get information. They must hire very lazy people to deliver if they cant take a parcel or envelope out of their truck, bring it to the door and actually deliver it.

I had to go to pick up my delivery by myself there. The driver marked "attempted delivery with no access to the building" which is completely lie. He never came today neither called the buzzer. They do it all the time, when they are lazy to get to apartment building. Anyway I putted 3* just because of prompt response from the depot office, so I got my package today.

It’s very funny that I received a call that checked my address and I was at home at 2: 46. Before that, no calls received. Then 2: 50, the website said incorrectly delivery.why the customer service checked i was at home, and still no delivery. It’s not a delivery company, 711 works better than FedEx since it’s closer to my home! I have to pick up anyway. I sincerely wish my refund of my delivery fees

Every time I have a package they say they attempted delivery but no one was home even though I have been home all day. Now I have to pick up my package from all the way across town. This has happened a few times and there is no way I have missed their delivery every time. Total lie! You can't even talk to an agent with their stupid phone operator!

It is a very nice experience to do business with you people. The driver is soooo nice. My name is not on the buzz. After I called the cx representative. He comes back and did the delivery for me upstairs! It’s amazing! I am so happy.

They don't deliver on time. They don't care about your time if you have to drive across the entire city to pick up a package. Poor care in service. Hope they do better.

They didn't really come to my place, I was home all day just gave me a call saying pick your shipment up.
This is not even first time. I do frequent shoppings, and Fedex always makes me go to their place to pick up the shipment. Ups or other services are So much better.

Parcel arrived on November 16th and still unable to get reliable tracking. Automated system is useless and this is over a month since shipping.
Avoid shipping with FedEx- even turtle courier would be better. Customer service- non existent.

I'm driving my sister in law the 15 kilometers across town today, to pickup her parcel today. The reason being that she lives in a bock, They didn't bother calling her. She doesn't have a car and busses are covid capsules.

I had a padded envelope arrive at our door which required a signature while we were not home. The delivery driver returned the package to their Depot adjacent to Winnipeg James A. Richardson International Airport. He has left a delivery notice on our door. I called FedEx Customer Service and requested a re-delivery on the next business day, Which was Monday. I was told the envelope would be delivered between 07: 00h and 13: 30h and confirmed that someone would be home to sign for the package. Monday came and went without the envelope being delivered. I contacted Customer Service to determine why my shipment had been delivered. The Customer Service rep I spoke to informed me that my original request had not been sent to the depot. I arranged for a second re-scheduled delivery for Wednesday afternoon. Wednesday came and went without the package being delivered, again. Finally, the Wednesday morning, after checking the FedEx website for the status of my envelope, which was still showing the package at the FedEx depot with no scheduled delivery date indicated, I drove the 20 kilometers to pick up my parcel. When I arrived at the depot and requested my parcel the clerk behind the front counter literally walked no more than 15 feet to retrieve my shipment. What would have made it that difficult to not put it on one of the FedEx delivery trucks that pass my door every day? This was an Express shipment and it sits in their Depot for three days or longer had I not taken an hour to drive the 40 kilometres to take possession of my envelope that the shipper had paid for door-to-door express delivery. NOT IMPRESSED, FEDEX!

Waited since 6am to be sure i get my package, the next thing i know tracking says customer not available now i have to pick up after making phone calls to the customer service near the airport which is very far away from where i am and would cost me about 20$ cab one way.whoever that driver is who is supposed to deliver it- do your job right!

Really really bad service. Few months ago i ordered some stuff and they provided mr with no details on there website and no tracking number was provided either and when you call them to find out what time driver will be coming to deliver then they have no time for you and they are alao not able to contact their own driver. Its so messed up. Worse customer service ever. This time i am waiting for another package ans i am experiencing the same thing from them no time to deliver no updates and ofcourse they vant contact their driver again. This company is a joke.

Get call about delivery says will delivery at 5pm tomorrow, and Fedex delivered at morning 8: 55, and I have camera record the person just left notice on my door without know or ring door bell. The notice says they will try to attempt tomorrow at 5pm, and ask my signature, so I signed, but the later day, I got call from Fedex says I have to go pick up at shipping centre!

Why you guys doesn’t do your job?
It’s ridiculously not responsible!

They don't drop the package at the door even if you create an account to accept all deliveries without signature. They do not try to deliver again. They don't provide time window of delivery. If you are not at home then you have to travel here to pick up your package. No customer service to complain to.

While this review is made during the pandemic and expectations are different, this reflects service experienced during the best of times.
I would never willingly use FedEx and am always disappointed in the businesses that ship it to me. Reason being - the delivery drivers don't know how to follow instruction.
I have a unique building which is split into two and they never deliver to the proper door. I'm also told they are able to call upon arrival (some couriers can't) and yet they never do. No slip is left (unless it's at the part of the building I CAN'T ACCESS) and tracking suddenly shows it's available for pickup at this location which is so incredibly inconvenient.
Two stars are awarded because when I can get ahold of an agent either at the depot or on their help line, they are often polite and informative.

Same story as many others - was home all day waiting for my parcel and no one attempted a delivery. Yet, when I check the tracking it says they did and are holding it at the local fedex facility. I paid extra for fast shipping and still get terrible service. What a terrible company.

Tracking number 394394022682. They say customer not available, delivery attempted. No delivery attempt was made. I was home all day. Very dissatisfied and angry with FedEx service. Do not use Fedex.

I totally agree with many others. They don't give you a heads up about when they are coming. They don't call you. You just get emails that delivery was attempted. I mean we give the contact numbers for what? For 3 consecutive days they would "attempt delivery" and would never really deliver. No customer representative to complain. This is terrible! Why would I pay for shipping when I need to go to the location to fetch it?

FedEx delivers a day early, I'm not home of course, so it goes back to their service center and now I have to ride my bike on a 20 km round trip to pick it up! Not even an option to talk to anyone on their automated phone service line. No option for a second delivery? No humans involved on their end? I didn't choose to use them and certainly never would choose them. Not the first time this has happened. The only reason I put one star is because they won't accept the post unless you do. Never had this trouble with any other delivery service.

This ship center on Sargent Ave is open to walk in service & you can hold for pickup. Personally, it is the only drop off I use.basically because it’s the airport and this is where products are air-flown out of the city!

Purchased my package, confirmed with company I purchased it from the address on the shipping label. Delivered it to an address in the USA. (I'm in Winnipeg, CANADA). Called and no one had a solution, said they would look into it and no one is calling me back. Why is my parcel with some stranger in America? This is a pretty bad mistake that no one really wants to fix. I specifically ask companies not to use fedex when making purchases. On several occasions have left attempted delivery notes on my door while I was home. No one knocked or rang buzzer. One time IU caught the guy and I was livid. Called the company, no one seems to care. We pay for delivery but then end up having to drive to the Airport to get it anyways. Waste of service

Fedex is reliable but delivery can be an issue. I suggest pickup from the office if something expensive or very important arriving. I was starting jewellery business and imported jewellery total valuebcad $122,000 and it was left at my house front door with out any bell.yes that is true, i can't imagin if it was lost n im sure fedex would not have cover as on tracking it said delivered and i was shocked and open the door and it was there. So be care full.

Literally watched my delivery driver come up to the buzzer, dial my caretaker, and as the phone was ringing, walks back to the truck and drives away. I get that it's Dec 23rd, but give someone a good 30 seconds to come downstairs and grab their delivery that we're paying for.
