Frantz Inn

I travel across canada, with mybdogs, quite a bit and have to say Frantz Inn is BY FAR the best deal by price/quality.

Friendly stuff, good food, liquor store, clean rooms and great price.

Highly recommend.

Bev the server was excellent. The ribs were fantastic and better than big Smoak. Four flavours choose from. The filet was cooked to order and seasoned just right. For sure we will be back. Nothing to complain about except you get too much food LOL.

Staff are always friendly and welcoming. I enjoy their large number of vlt machines available.great place to go and have some fun with friends or play the machines by yourself. Lots of parking available as well as good amount of handicap parking spots.

Good beer selection in the vendor.honestly wouldn't go to the bar at night.lot of scrote bags inside

The one star is for the staff only. The bartender (who also had to cover the front desk because they aren't properly staffed) was very friendly and professional. The server who took care of us for breakfast was a delight. Everything else about this place was awful.
Starting off, the website was wonky and difficult to navigate when trying to book a room, I had called twice and left a message management asking questions about our reservation and never received a call back. The linens in our room were dirty and stained, we asked for them to be changed while we were at a wedding down the road, returned at 1am to find it had not been done, and there was no staff other than the "nightclub" staff at that time. Our room had an ice bucket, but we couldn't find an ice machine.
The bar blasted loud music until 2am, and despite being on the opposite side of the building, our room was still vibrating. Not to mention, they allow cigarette smoking on the patio, which has been illegal in Manitoba for several years now. There's absolutely no sound proofing in the building whatsoever, we could hear the people in the room next to us having a conversation at normal volume. The wifi did not work, we could not connect even though they gave us the proper password.
The only amenities this place has is a trashy bar that the teenagers from steinbach drink at, and a restaurant that's only open during the day.
How this place was given a 3 Star hotel rating, I'll never know, it doesn't meet the criteria by a long shot.

Albeit the staff are lovely, this place isn't worth your money. Pay the extra $25 a night to stay at the Days Inn. 13/10 would NOT recommend.

Traveled 22 hours from southwestern Ontario, thought it'd be a nice quiet place to rest, post to continuing threw to Alberta.wrong. I'm writing this review well listening to reverbed bass through the walls.

Ended up staying in this hotel after a night of drinking. Sure was handy to not have to drive back to Winnipeg. Rooms were good- standard beds & amenities. We had breakfast in the restaurant before leaving, and it was good. Tina, our server, was so sweet making sure we were hydrated for our drive home.

Upon arriving the lobby was poorly attended to and a member of the lounge staff came to help. There’s no service bell or indication of who to speak to for service. The rooms are very dated and bathroom lacks much room by the sink to put anything. The toilet bowl was stained since it hadn’t been cleaned properly.

The wifi was extremely hot and miss. With full signal I was often unable to connect (just wouldn’t accept password, or wouldn’t connect period, despite full bars.). When trying to complain the front desk l, once I finally found the lady hiding out in a separate office, she couldn’t understand a word of English.

The following morning I discovered baby silverfish all over the bathroom sink and wall. That’s when I made the decision to check out and go over to the days inn (which appears to be much more professionally run, as a hotel instead of hotel/restaurant/lounge/nightclub. Again had to track down the lady who was not at the front desk post.

Glad I switched when I had. I have no ideas how the rating is as high as it is. Makes me wonder…

I've stayed in the hotel quite a bit and it's been a good experience. The only thing I'd say is it would he nice to have access to vending machines at night. They should put some in the hotel room area aswell because they lock the doors to the lobby where the only vending machines are. They should have more. And definately check into the vending machine in the lobby that machine steals my money every dam time lol
But other then that it's a great place.awesome food awesome staff got drinks and all around a really classy place for all. You wont be disappointed!

Pretty good motel on the outskirts of town. Giving it 4 stars the service was good, and rooms were decent but there is a club attached to the motel and the bass went late into the night. Also breakfast didn't start until 9am which is a late start when you have a long drive ahead of you.

So for me it's a 50/50 for this place was here before and it was amazing but this time I had mushroom Neptune it's was terrible was cold in the middle of the food and the waitress said d they would make a new one.well they didn't all they did was put that one back in the oven and it came back even worse than the first time then for main course was chicken Alfredo it wasn't any better than the starter no cream Alfredo sauce but whoever the cook was sure like butter. And then top it all off was still charged full price for food we didn't eat, well they took the starter off. Do not recommend

The wife and I went out for dinner. The restaurant was closed due to private function, but we were directed to the lounge, which has the same food.
I have to say- I don't think I've had a better meal in Steinbach. I had steak, and the wife had pasta. It's now our new favorite spot. I'm not picky, but the service was above average too. Our waitress was so friendly, and everything was timed nicely.

Watch out for the East Indians trying to human traffic at this bar. My daughter was outside smoking and 3 of them cornered her, bouncers came kicked them out police came let these clowns drive home drunk. Keep your families safe people. Especially from these clowns.

Aucune insonorisation entre le bar et les chambres. Musique très forte jusqu’à très tard. Ne faites pas un arrêt ici si vous faites de la route et avez besoins de sommeil. Would have been better to sleep in my car.

We went for lunch. Got there just after 12: 30. After we placed our food and drink order it took 20 min for the waitress to come back to tell my BF they didn't have the ingredients for his drink. He reordered. Another 10 min later she came back with his drink then proceeded to tell me they didn't have the ingredients for my drink. I also reordered. After an hour and a half waiting for our food we decided we didn't want to wait any longer so we paid for our drinks and left. The service was awful. It will be a while till we try again.
