Same as all the others. I think we all understand this, but this wait outside, in the freezing weather just to get scanned like we're crossing a boarder is a total security over reaction. If the police were a proactive force instead of a reactive force, things would be better. If the justice system actually had any teeth, instead of the constant revolving door for aholes, maybe things would be better.

I visited the store on November 3,2023. Generally, the store is great. There was a short line in front of it, just a few people, so it took no more than 5 minutes to pass through the line. They have a wide range of different drinks, starting from beer and ending with elite alcohol. I was interested in wine and was looking for something to make mulled wine, so I asked someone to show me where I could find dry red wine that wouldn't break the bank but still tasted like good wine. The store employee suggested three different options ranging from $20 to $30 for a 1.5-liter bottle. I chose the middle option for $26 and wasn't disappointed.

I really appreciated the service at the store, so I can definitely recommend visiting them!

The staff here is great! This is a big store, so you shouldn't be shoulder to shoulder with other patrons.

Line up to get in - show your ID or be refused entry. You are considered a threat the moment you enter the building. Its time to privatize liquor sales in MB

My husband went to this store but wasn’t allowed to get in because he only have a PERMANENT RESIDENT CARD!

I waited in the car while my girlfriend stood in line to get in. Watched many people stand in line while I waited in the warmth of my car. I have pretty much given up drinking alcohol not because I had a problem but because I was tired of feeling terrible after drinking. Now I will still have an occasional drink but you will likely never see me lined up again to buy myself what is essentially poison to ingest. Also the fact that the government doesn't allow competitors in the alcohol game and can charge whatever they please is kinda ridiculous in Manitoba. But if you enjoy flavoured poison in Manitoba this is your place unless you make your own.

The staff are always helpful and friendly and the product selection will fit almost any need or budget.

Around 7pm feb 1 2022.this lady guard checking id seems like doesn't know what is health card means.i dont have any license yet so.i showed my pr card with my health card to support it that im legally to buy alcohol.but dis lady guard told me that this health card with me doesn't mine and i should use my own health card.bcoz my wife name is in the card written in front.but my full name, age etc etc.written at the back.that was my first time to get exp that with this lady on duty that time, and she's only the one question me and told me that i used my own health card.this is my health card ever since i came in Canada.and no one question me.about that.

October 25,2021 (around 6 pm) : the person sitting at the gate to check ID was very disrespectful to us. Me and my husband went in together (as a family). We did not see the sign that says only one person at a time. He shouted on us to get out of gate. The message could have been conveyed in a respectful way. We are highly disappointed.

The service was pretty alright, did have one store clerk who was helpful at first, seemed to have trouble helping me locate a certain wine. Once she realized it was South African and not Australian, where she had been searching, perhaps she became frustrated, dunno. I, for my part, got confused because the website had designated the wine I was looking for at 21.99$ but in-store it was marked at 26.99$, so in my confusion I grabbed the similarly-marked bottle next to it by the same company, which was 21.99$. The clerk, apparently noticing that I grabbed the wrong one, instead of kindly letting me know, muttured something like "oh, or he's just crazy" under her breath and walked away. I didn't really know what she meant, thought maybe she was hitting on me and I wasn't reacting, hence the insult. No matter, I got my wine and got home only to realize my mistake. Got the merlot instead of the shiraz. Not a huge problem, it's turned out to be a rather nice wine, just a bit dissapointed someone in customer service would act like that. Didn't check her name either, but perhaps just be careful of one particular young, white female employee with lighter hair? The other clerks and the manager were really quite nice though, the older gentlemen they had to call over to the register was very polite. I had also come in to pay for the other 3 in a 4 pack of Smirnoff, the clerk the day prior, lovely as she was, had only scanned the one bottle and forgotten to mutiply it. Overall, the rest of the staff are quite nice, I'd like to stress that.

Well, what more can I say about a government run dictator business supposedly owned by us tax payers!

Being kinda new to the neighbourhood, I found the McPhillips and Leila area very convenient, and filled with great shops. One of the great ones is the local liquor store. If I am looking for something special, there is always a staff member there to help me find it, even before I ask for help. When I have been unsure what I am looking for, but I just have an idea, the knowledgeable staff are able to make great recommendations. Well done!

Ah you know it's a place where all the alcoholics get there alcohol from when your not drinking back lane champagne

Feel incredibly safe with the door system in place, the staff is always helpful and gave lots of suggestions for a new whiskey to try.it was busy but the line went fast and the young cashier I had was very friendly.

Bit of a line up. They want ur ID and they scan it! A lot to choose from and staff r always happy to help. 1 of the only places that I know in the city that sells O'Darby's. Other places have never heard of it.

Standing outside to enter the store then they take a picture of your driver's license is crazy. Privatize them and Let free enterprise control it

Huge selection of drinks from across the continent with reasonable prices. And the staff are very knowledgable about the products in store and alternatives if what you are looking for is not available. Friendly too.

Everything was clean and tidy. Almost all the staff was very helpful. The wine we were looking for was easy to find with help. And paying for out stuff was speedy. Thank you.

They are dedicated very knowledgable people who work there I love coming there and just chatting with them about different types of liquors

All employees deserve a bonus to put up with what has been happening and still maintaining a cheerful demeanour. Also polite always helpful and eager to direct a customer towards a purchase that they are looking for. Prices are fixed because it’s Manitoba so not a lot of leeway on prices however they do have a special clear out section that you may get lucky with from time to time. Let’s face it alcohol can make even me get lucky from time to time, especially if the wife has had a few.

The young male staff at this location have awful customer service skills. All the other staff are friendly and pleasant.

It was a busy night at this location and must say that despite the recent events at liquor marts, I felt somewhat safe with a security guard at the front entrance and a police officer at the exit. However, I wasn't so comfortable enough to browse as I usually do.

Nice store however I looked around for almost 15 minutes and no employees came and asked if I needed help finding anything. Most stores I go to they offer to help you but this time they didnt. Still and good store tho with lots of selection!

Clean, bright, friendly knowledgeable staff. Great selection, tons of choices in the fridge. Growler taps with a rotating cast of local beers.
