Gemini Medical Clinic

As a frontline healthcare worker, I am aware of the challeges that Manitoba's Healthcare System is facing today. However, this clinic is unlike what myself and my family have experienced in the past when it comes to general medicine. I brag about Gemini Clinic and Dr. Ify Osagie to all of my relatives and friends. The clinic is clean and well lit, super welcoming atmosphere. My calls have been answered in the queue all but one time in the past 6+ months. Their walk-in process runs smoothly as long as you show up by 8: 15am and line up before the clinic opens. Dr. Osagie is a Saint! Her effort is unmatched, knowledge is remarkable, compassion is abundant. My parents, brother or myself have never felt rushed. On the contrary, we come in with several concerns and multiple questions everytime which are answered and followed up with either bloodwork, screening or other tests. I appreciate that Dr. Osagie calls with results (good or bad), she is aware of a multitude of resources and programs in the city, she gives us many suggestions, and most importantly she allows for patient autonomy in the highest degree. For the first time in over a decade, both of my parents feel heard and validated. That feeling of relief is invaluable! The receptionists have been kind, friendly and patient. So far I have not encountered any issues with the front staff or the doctors. 10/10 all the way around! Bravo!

Nobody has been answering the calls for two days. I made at least 20 calls with waiting in line. Sometimes you just listen to the voice at the beginning of the call and then it’s declines you.

They don't answer the phone and when they do they put you on hold. Gotta find a new clinic now because your receptionists aren't up to par. Won't be showing up to my appointment now.
