Staff is overworked, prices not visible. Hard sometimes to find a body. Other than that 70% of the prices are cheaper.

I'm liking GT more and more every day. Always find the essentials at a great price and if there is a better price somewhere else they match it! Got my VIP card!

The parking here sucks. They have very limited paid street parking and a parking lot that holds maybe 7 cars. It's right downtown winnipeg so lots of beggers and homeless people around the area. Its walking distance to the MTS centre and portage place mall. Liquor store is almost next door.they have everything you could ever need in this store though. Seriously!

The new lay out of the store is a little confusing and crowded for me but the staff are very friendly and helpful

Like any other giant Tiger cheap great prices real expensive pop and only one cashier on at that time super busy and lines move slow.

Great Supermarket department store serving the 'budget driven customer' with the cheapest grocery prices in town =cheaper than Walmart.

Its a fairly new location, centrally located in DOWNTOWN Winnipeg In The 'Exchange District' near Red River College.

Clean + well stocked salesfloor, this Giant Tiger features FULL GROCERY DEPARTMENT: Full Service Meat Counter, Produce, Baked (imported), Frozen, Dairy, Dry Goods etc. YOU CAN DO FULL GROCERY SHOPPING here, many people do.

Not a bad place to buy items in a pinch when at work. Prices aren't terrible either. Staff are friendly and helpful.

I can get everything there clothing housewares food and hygiene e accessories and the smiles are for free.

Longest waits for lines, produce is never fresh and meat is questionable, running in for 1 thing always turns into waiting on the slowest cashiers for at least 10 minutes while the line wraps around the store. Prices aren't any better than anywhere else and has a very limited selection of stock.

I like Giant Tiger, but today I went without my glasses not good usually in and out in a few minutes but not today but GT still a great store

Decent store to aquire most basic needs for groceries. Decent sales every week and prices are affordable. Staff is also very friendly and helpful.

Love that the chocolate milk is usually on sale, and they have my favorite jelly beans (quitting smoking tools, lol!).

Was fine with this store until I tried to get a return, fine I understand that losing the receipt and going to the bank to get the bank's copy of the transaction is a long shot, no return because she (the manager) says that she's unable to find the store copy, fine, tell her I had to pay for the bank's copy she laughs and stated "her bank doesn't charge for that" walks away chuckling.
Thanks again for laughing at me infront of the staff and other customers, my day wasn't shitte enough so thanks.

The store seems really compact and tight nowadays compared to when I lived in the area almost 20 years ago.

Large supply of groceries and milk. However need high security and feels unpleasant. People inside are fine

Surprising variety of merchandise for a downtown discount store. Worth checking out to see if they have what you are looking for.

Stuff was very protective and great at making sure that I had everything I needed considering there was a unsafe customer in the store

Fruits and vegetables are VERY, VERY reasonably priced. You can't go wrong with the prices of curtains $10 i always buy the bargain one for $6. I change my curtains per season. So the prices are good.

Too many thieves and criminals frequenting the inside and outside of the store, hence making me feel unsafe to visit. I won't be going back.

Great place for fast convenient shopping. Items are smaller in size compared to supermarket but prices are reasonable. Also, very friendly staff.

It is okay here but very tight in the aisles. Service when leaving is a little annoying and staff like to stand around

Store is in a great location for downtown. Parking isnt the greatest though. They do have free parking in the back of the building wich is limited but at least it's free for downtown.

Prices are a bit expensive than the Walmart and superstore. Otherwise good a store that's close to the home.

Giant Tiger is a great! Place to shop in a hurry or if you are not so busy.
I used to shop here all the time but then I just started to go to different places to shop around and get the best deals on produce, meats and other items but if you like the feel of a small store where over time you will know most people who shop there as well as work there then this is the place you want to go to.

Like the store, sometimes. I wish that they’d put price tags on everything and that that one girl, Shamshad wouldn’t wear so much or such strong perfume. I’m allergic so it makes it so hard to breathe when I’m forced to go to her to pay. A few times I just left everything because I didn’t want to feel like I’m dying. She shouldn’t be allowed to wear perfume or that much. You can smell it so far away it’s insane. She’s nice and all and knows what she’s doing but the perfume.soooooo much!

Not a single tiger in sight. My family and I passed up a trip to the zoo to check this place out. Super dissapointing. Rating 2 stars because the frozen pizza's they sell are delicious (even uncooked)

The lady who was working at the checkout was pleasant and approachable - too often the person working at the counter makes it seem like customers are more a hassle than anything else. This woman did not make me feel like that and was not overbearing in the least. Great Service!

I was looking for a pair of jeans with elastic forr my mother. Bought her two pairs but they were the wrong size.went back to exchange them for another size without any problems and she is quite happy with them.

Its small and they stopped selling baby diapers and wipes and stuff like that the same yr I moved in the area but they have alot still.

I was surprised by the clothing. I had notions of poor quality. I was wrong; my perceptions were off. Nice attendants, variety of clothing options.
