Bought our first camper there in 2011. No issues, still love our hybrid, but the kids have outgrown it. Stopped in to look at a used camper and offered ours in trade.they offered to "give" us $2000 for our camper we bought for $28000. They're absolutely out of their minds by ripping customers off. I won't even buy toilet paper fron this place anymore.

We purchased a new Keystone park model trailer from GNR in October 2021 and took possession in the spring of 2022. The sales process was smooth and there were no hidden charges or changes. I waited a full year of usage before posting a review to see how their after sales service was so I could comment on both. I can happily say that all the issues that came up in the first year were dealt with quickly and professionally. As the unit is a park model and placed at our campsite in Winnipeg beach GNR had to travel there to do the service work. Again this was done quickly and all the warranty items that I had reported during the first year were fixed with no argument or hassle from the dealer. They even caught an issue that I did not notice and fixed while they were out there. I will also say there were no charges for the repairs during the first year of servicing. I would definitely deal with them again and highly recommend.

If you don’t buy your RV from GNR, good luck trying to get service. Unless you take it there in December January or February. Your issue is low priority otherwise. Followed up on a warranty claim 2 weeks after information gathered, they were too busy to create the warranty claim to Forest River. They replaced a defective leaf spring after I asked for a suspension inspection. The spring was replaced on warranty, but I was still charged $220 for a warranty job. The work took longer than what the manufacturer allowed. So I got dinged for it. Now the trailer is listing to one side because the spring on the other side should have been replaced as well. Basic mechanical theory was lost.
I was told by the service advisor, and it’s extremely apparent, if you don’t buy from GNR, no guarantee of service. All Forest River dealers are independent, so, they can operate however they want. Buying used may not be such a bad thing. Buyer beware.

AVOID GNR Camping World! I'd give a zero star if possible.

I have a Eurovan with a three way 120/12v propane fridge. The problem was that the propane light would show green yet the fridge wasn’t actually cooling.
Contacted GNR Camping World on Dugald Rd, Winnipeg and was quoted $99 for a diagnosis and approximately $100 for repairs. When I took my Eurovan to GNR Camping World, they then quoted a price of $200-300 for the repairs. The following day, they called me and advised that the cost for repairs would now be $300-400.
I picked up my van and the final bill was $516.49. Charges were for the cost to diagnose the unit and to unclog the burner. This included the cost of a gasket for $0.45.
The next time I went camping and used the fridge, the issue still wasn’t resolved. The propane light would show green constantly and still wouldn’t cool, as before I brought it into the shop.
I returned to GNR Camping World, they argued that the work they previously did was fine; there was now a new issue. This time they said the problem was due to the igniter and wiring. The new quote was $968.
GNR Camping World manager, Jamie Burnell, argued that the van’s wiring had been tampered with and that GNR Camping World had never serviced this van before my bringing it in. He was adamant on that point. He said he searched the van’s VIN# in his system, and found no records; I told him to search using the previous owners name, he again said that he found no records. I gave him the invoice numbers of the work that GNR Camping World had done on the fridge. Jamie then admitted that it appeared that GNR Camping World had serviced the fridge before. He was going to keep denying until he realized that I had the invoices from the previous owner in my possession. Jamie refused to refund my money for the repair or to fix the fridge unless I paid the additional $968, as previously quoted. When I went to pick up the van, I attempted to speak with Jamie Burnell, he saw me coming and left the building. I waited approximately for 30 minutes and looked around the building and outside the yard for him, to no avail. Frustration beyond belief, with no one else to speak with other than the manager, Jamie Burnell.
I then contacted Metro Propane Inc on St. James St, Winnipeg. They quoted $100 to diagnose and nothing more if the problem could be fixed within the first hour. I took the fridge to Metro Propane, in which time they diagnosed, corrected and tested the unit. All for $100 plus taxes, as quoted.
Learn from my experience, GNR Camping World is NOT honest and is more interested in profit. Avoid GNR Camping World, take your potential business to a honest and legit company like Metro Propane Inc, where they care about their customers and with providing solid service.

Was a great sales experience, just pray you never have an issue and don't have to deal with them after. They won't even talk to you without sticking you with a huge bill. Overall got the strong impression they simply don't care and don't want to help. Next time I'll go to four seasons.

We bought a jaco trailer there had a water heater problem went to get part i have warranty on this cost me 50 dollars for part they are very hard to deal with don't care about the customers i strongly advise do not buy their and if you do don't let them talk you into extended warranty it is a rip off

Went to four seasons sales then transcona trailer sales before purchasing from GNR. Alex from sales, she doesn’t pressure you to buy an RV, which is nice because usually people need some time to think before making a big commitment to the purchase. Donna from finance, she answered all my questions regards to the pricing and warranty detailed and not an rough estimate. Kyle from service, he did my walk through and explained everything step by step very thoroughly. Overall the 3 people i met were very professional and friendly, First time buying a trailer and GNR truly satisfied my needs, hopefully the future visits stays the same!

We had an undetectable leak in our brand new trailer. Last night we took photos and sent a text message to GnR explaining our concerns. This morning I got a text message saying that Kevin will come out to repair it. He came out found the issue and fixed it. He has outstanding customer service. Thank you GnR for exceptional service and for sending Kevin out same day to fix our problem. We are very happy campers!

We are travelling accross Canada and we had a problem with our trailer camper. When we arrive (without appointement) they were really busy (begining of the season) but the guys behind the counter came out with us to check if it was a easy fix so we could hit the road back shortly. They finally took a hour fixing our trailer rigth away. Best part, at the end they told us that as they sell the brand of our trailer there they would call them to have it cover by the warranty, not a penny out of my pocket! They also gave our toddler a Nice cuddly toy. Every store should be like yours, you change a bad situation for us into a fun expérience and now we feel safe back on the road! I almost wish that our trailer break again on our way back! Thanks again!

We just purchased a new 2022 Flagstaff from Alex. She was most helpful as we worked to select our factory order. The finance team was most helpful throughout our transaction and Kyle was excellent on our initial walk through. We had some difficulty with our braking systems on the day we took our trailer home. The service staff looked after us very well as we worked to establish where the problem was located. They worked tirelessly with us as we discovered the issue was with a control module on our tow vehicle. We thank the whole crew at GNR for going the extra mile to help us. Thank you.

** 1200$ MOUSE PROOFING RIP OFF**

We purchased a small roughly 2900lbs hard shell camper to tow behind our Kia Sorrento. Fist of all, they don't care that your vehicle towing capacity says 3500lbs (WE thought this was an accurate representation of our SUV's ability, i guess we know not to trust internet and salesmen) but real life tow on an SUV with 3500lbs capability is actually only 2500lbs max which they won't tell you. (so, we have damage to our engine and exhaust from over working) next, we got extended warranty and mouse shield since my husband does back country camping.

So, we had mice our fist season of using it this year and our mouse warranty was void because they didn't chew through the protective layer sprayed for extra on undercarriage. The mice are deemed to have gotten in through holes on floor for wires (you can see daylight through holes) that were left unsealed by manufacturer and not properly sealed by GNR before our pick up of trailer in May. These breaches were never disclosed to us so we had no idea they existed.

MPI claim was made as well because GNR wasn't covering our cleanup etc because mouse warranty was void in their definition. GNR & MPI deemed the mice came in through those holes on floor. (the holes the company didn't seal or tell us about)

The lack of forth coming information about warranty, general maintenance and general knowledge of the camper (especially for first time buyer and user) was extremely disheartening. We chose this place because the other places we felt wouldn't take care of us, but in the end, this place didn't take care of us either.

Camper was sent to restoration company, they cleaned it and we had to foot the bill as our MPI deductible cost 500$. Had we not made an MPI claim, it would have cost 1000$ roughly for proper cleaning etc.

We complained to restoration company and they covered 100$ of our bill and GNR said they would cover 100$ due to mis understanding and mix up but deemed it as not their responsibility either.

So, instead of GNR covering 500$ of the cleanup cost like we were under the impression that specified in the warranty we signed, they paid 100$.

Because we made an MPI claim too, the cost GNR would have paid would have covered our deductible completely. Had we not made claim, would have cost us 1000$

** DON"T PAY 1200$ extra for mouse proofing, it's not worth it and waste of money. Your insurance claim deductible is cheaper then the stupid Add on**

Brandon the sales rep was great as well as the guy that spent time with me showing me how to operate my camper. I bought a used camper and paid $795 to have it inspected and operational. When I got it home I had three water leaks in my plumbing. Obviously they didn’t check the plumbing. My last used camper I purchased at Budget rv in Grand Forks and they were fantastic. Live and learn.

We had a problem with both our pump and fridge. We are from Ontario driving to BC, so we are unfamiliar with the area. GNR Camping World was fantastic. Right from the first call they were great. They saw us quickly and all the staff were very helpful. They figured out our problem and fixed what they could (one problem needs parts that we will have to get later). They had us our way with a functioning fridge and pump. Great service!

Went to buy a camper was quoted a price and told to come back because their financial worker wasn't at work yet. We went back and were told that the price was 3000 dollars more now and that price was for the exact same camper but only difference was stairs and hide a bed.

The experience here was top-notch. From the initial inquiring email about an incoming trailer, Alex our sales rep responded right away to any questions we may have had. She was extremely helpful and very knowledgeable when we came to view the trailer.
Donna was extremely thorough in discussing our options when it came down to the financing side of it.
Kyle was very helpful in explaining all the details of the trailer during the walk through. There was a lot of information to absorb
There were some unexpected hiccups when getting it home and going on our first trip. Nail in tire, and an issue with our table (which is being dealt with) and a water pump, but that is out of GNR control. Overall the experience was very good.
I would recommend GNR to anyone looking to buy a trailer.

From the time that we started working through the sales process with Doug to the time drove our new trailer off the lot the GNR treated us like family. The trailer we purchased fit us perfectly and we are looking for having some many trips with our travel trailer. We would highly recommend GNR Camping World for anyone looking for an RV as you be in good hands.

After carefully researching which trailer we were interested in and which company we should deal with. We purchased with G&R and financed all within an hour. We were accommodated for service and were able to have our trailer ready for a prompt camping trip that same week. Great service thus far.

Great experience with GNR!
Trevor (Sales) helped us tick all the boxes, and gave us a lot of help on things that we never considered.
Tara (Finance) provided us with all the financing options to tailor our payment terms.
And Kyle (Service) walked us through the details of our new trailer to make sure we get the most out of our new “toy”!
Being first-time trailer owners, GNR provided an excellent level of comfort through the whole process; we highly recommend giving them a try!

Let’s start with the parts manager. Jason was awesome to deal with. Knowledgeable friendly and most of all listens to what the problems are and helps find solutions. He should be running the whole service and parts area. If I could I would give him 10 stars. Now as for the service department Robyn super nice and easy to work with. The crux of the issue was when there were issues brought to the attention of the service manager he would not listen to the problem and after showing pictures of service work that was poorly done and in some cases bordering on dangerous in the case of a wiring issue he would not take responsibility and kept deflecting it back on us. His favourite saying was why didn’t you get get fixed while you were away on your holiday or I had my best man on the job even when he had a picture of the horrible workmanship. If that was his best man, then that would suggest that they don’t know what they’re doing. He didn’t offer any solutions or take any responsibility. We had trusted them to do professional work, but time after time the work was substandard. We had expected much more so are extremely disappointed and would recommend you go elsewhere for any service on your trailer or RV. When I start looking for my next trailer GNR will not be on the list to purchase from. If you can’t provide service to people, why would people want to purchase from you?

The part that I needed was ordered and became available earlier than promised. My experience with GNR was excellent and I would highly recommend them to anyone with RV needs

Getting a camper these days is not easy. So saying that, G&R are fantastic.
Helped me find a camper that is perfect for me. It is in immaculate shape.
People working are so helpful, accommodating with the busy season.
Had taken the time and explained the many papers you are signing.
My walk through was great (I don't know anything), he was very thorough in explaining and showing.
Helpful with my questions and would show me again (patient).
I would definitely recommend them.

Great experience with their parts selection.

This was my first time heading into a local RV store. I needed a generic knob for a window on my older camper. They had what I needed in stock at a great price.

I was really surprised to find they sell LED lights for RVs. The bulbs they sell have a 10 year warranty. I've done lots of shopping online for LED 921s and 1056s and everything online seems cheap and sketchy. I was really happy to find they had lots of selection at reasonable prices.

Bought a brand new 2021 Jayco this year from GNR Camping World. The entire process from looking to buying to taking home was amazing. The wonderful people at GNR from owner, sales woman, finance woman, parts dept to service dept, were the most professional, courteous, polite and gracious individuals to deal with. We purchased a new Coachman Apex Nano from GNR in Sept 2020 and picked up April 2021. Great service and easy to do business with. Our sales person Doug was very knowledgeable about the ins and outs of various trailers. Donna in the business office was thorough and very courteous. Grant did our delivery walk through and hitch set up and he certainly knows his stuff. Robyn in service was great in setting up our delivery experience. We’re looking forward to many years of travels with this great new trailer.

From the moment my wife and I walked in the door we were made to feel very comfortable.
Doug educated us on the trailers available and was very patient for us newbies.
Tara made the financing easy. Service was awesome and Derrick spent 3 hours with us teaching us how to care for and operate our new Jayco!
