I have been going to Gondola on McPhillips for years as I live a five minute drive from that location. I will never go there again.

Several weeks ago I saw a Tiktok for the 3735 Portage location and the pies looked amazing.

It's a 40 + minute drive there and back, but I figured it was worth a chance, if for no other reason, but to see if the amount of toppings shown on Tiktok are really standard or if they just load them up for the Video.

Without exaggeration, my pizzas had double the toppings that I would normally get at the McPhillips location.

Aside from that, the team was so friendly! The young lady taking cash was extremely pleasent, both cooks were awesome.

The Tiktok cook went above and beyond, with a bonus cake for dessert!

This location is the Gondola I remember from my youth. So glad I found you guys!

Not only great pizza, but the staff is great too. They always genuinely thank me and always like to have a quick conversation about football or hockey. Great personal touches that go a long way!

Super delicious, maybe it was the thin crust but I think we have a clear cut winner for Gondolas.

Got a thin crust pizza didn't care for any of the ingredients. Sauce tasted too pepperie, crust had an odd consistency, it was fully cooked but still doey, (idk if it was proofed enough before put in the fridge) only thing I really enjoyed was the cheese.

The pizza was amazing. The staff were helpful and friendly. The pizza was delivered fast. Only $3 delivery charge.

We ordered an extra large "the boss" pizza, cheese toast and a 2l 7up for delivery.
1 1/2 hours later we received a cold wet pizza, no cheese toast and a 2l 7up.
They agreed to take $5 off our bill of $45 for the missing cheese toast.
I am not very happy about this.
I don't think that I will order from this restaurant again.

Pizza is extremely overpriced for the quality of product. Ordered for the first time in awhile and will definitely be the last. Crust was so thin it was basically pizza toppings in cheese, great if you're trying to watch your carbs I suppose. But no sauce at all on the pizza and had zero flavour, just of the canned toppings. 22 pizza down the street has 100x more flavour and better quality for half the price. Even the hotline would have been a better choice

Me and my family preorder pizza for New Years Eve the day before, and we waited 45 minutes for our delivery. We ended up driving to the location to pick up and to see what was going on because we could not get through their phone line. I went into the storefront pretty frustrated and annoyed, but I came out very satisfied! The owner (or who I think was the owner) listened to my concerns and only charged me $20 for two extra large pizzas and gave us a free salad for our wait and troubles and apologized profusely. The pizza and salad were delicious and we will be ordering from there again in the future.:)

Placed a pick up order and was told it would be 35 to 40 minutes, told them I would be there in 45. Showed up 1 hour later and they had not started my order. Ended up waiting outside with 5 other people with pick up orders for another 20 minutes and they still couldn't give me an ETA.
After listening to the staff getting frustrated towards the growing number of waiting customers I left in disgust and definitely will not be back (12 year customer). Can't say I've seen another business as poorly run as this.

DONT ORDER THE LARGER GREEK SALED, THEY ONLY ACUALLY SELL A MEDIUM GREEK SALED! (False advertising) Plus they got the crust size of 2 of our 4 pizzas wrong. They need to learn how to run a business.

Literally my single favourite pizza place in the entire city. You HAVE to try their thin crust, it's incredible. They are a little pricey (especially for toppings), but it is 100% worth it!

Most amazing experience! I live on the other side of the city but ever since visiting here I refuse to order from anywhere else. The pizza speaks for its self being cooked to perfection with outstanding flavour but it’s the staff that pushes my satisfaction over the top. Every time I go there I’m always welcomed by the staff and no matter how busy they are, they somehow always manage to make me feel valued as a customer by indulging in conversation and just showing off their A1 customer service (which is rare for a pizza spot). I could go on for hours but if you’ve read this far, by now you know that you NEED to try their pizza!

Been ordering from this Gondola for well over 20 years and now their new location. In my opinion, the best pizza in the city, and I’ve tried many many places lol! From the owners down to the delivery drivers, they are all friendly, kind, awesome people! They know how I like my pizza cooked, and they do it to perfection every time! I think they have a little secret, that’s their lasagna! I love it! I highly recommend both!
